Today I went in to my local $ store and the young gentleman that rang up our stuff was AMAZING! He was under stress do to being the only one working the check out, he still smiled, asked if I found everything, and put a smile on my face even though he was feeling the stress. He's an amazing young man and when I get his name I'll be doing a hug shout out for him! Thanks to the young gentleman that made my son's visit AWESOME!

This was the Northwest Rochester, Minnesota Location. Gregory Jeff was my cashier. I received excellent service, in a clean, well organized store. I forgot my debit card at home. They were polite, gracious and allowed me to run home to get it. No rudeness at all. Cashier was laid back and friendly. After I returned to pay for my items, I then proceeded to forget one of my bags. Where he called out for me to remind me to grab it. We had a good chuckle! Great haul for $40.

Only been here the one time. I found some decorative wallpaper sheets for my significant others at home office. Great affordable price and so much neater and cleaner than having to paint the wall.

Good variety of items, however staff is rude and have attitudes which makes me not want to shop there again. A cashier threw the basket down on the floor very angrily. Like I’m sorry is there an issue with me using the shopping basket??? They even respond with an attitude when you say “have a good day”. I have also seen the cashiers being quite rude to other customers. I understand they don’t get paid all that well, but you don’t have to be rude to people.

This Dollar Tree is smaller than the one by Mayo, but they had items the other store didn't have. This one didn't have some items I've seen else where but I guess it's hit and miss. The store was much more organized too, most of their shelves looked stocked instead of half empty. It was a more pleasant shopping experience in this store.

Decently stocked, but employees need a lesson on customer service. Usually one lane open even if lines are busy. Sometimes cashiers are huddled around the front talking and not paying attention to customers. Today checking out, I got to the register and the cashier was turned away talking to another employee when she knew I was there and only turned around when the other employee pointed to me to let her know I was there. The south store is a lot better. Also, walking into the store, there was an employee taking a smoke break right outside the main door. Not professional

I placed on online order on April 29 for ship to store for pick up. On May 7th the order had been shipped. On May 15 it said my order was in for pick up. When I got to the store, they could only find 3 out of 4 boxes of my order. They said I need to call the manager. I went back the next day and spoke to manager. She said it would come on next truck, and to come back in a week, NEVER told me to call the corporate office and said to leave the rest of my items there. I went back the next week, they still haven't received my missing piece of the order. I called corporate myself they said they would send a new box. No one at the store knows what is going on. It's always them running around like a zoo. Once again, they do not have my order on the truck (only comes on Thursdays) this week. The managers have said they would call when order is in and never do. I've spoken to the store 6 times and I still have to repeat one of my boxes are missing. I have called corporate twice with NO help. My order has been "ready for pick up" since may 15, almost a month later and they still don't have my order ready for me. Corporate doesn't communicate with the store, they don't communicate with corporate. No one knows anything about my order. DO NOT ORDER SHIP TO STORE!!!! Especially if you want your order on time.

Clean, polite, unassuming; though most likely owned by sane folks who own the one in South Rochester, this one draws a VERY KIND staff. While ALWAYS overworked & underpaid, this store keeps plenty of staple items & is effortless to deal with. EASILY the most UNDERRATED retailer in NW Rochester.

Very disturbing that all employees were not masked. They must be rationing bags as I was told when I checked out that they didn’t have bags for my larger bags. I suggested that the young man use the bags hanging next to me on the adjacent wrap stand because apparently he didn’t have any at his. He reluctantly and rudely responded and bagged my items and rang up 2 more customers who did not maintain distance behind crowded me before I could gather up my purchases. Adjacent check out person muttered something at me as well. First time there and last time.

Since the remodel many many months ago, the store is dirty and poorly stocked. Some isles have so many items thrown on the floor you can hardly walk. Very sad to see a store that was once clean, well stocked and with helpful employees go downhill so far in such a short time. Hopefully something will change.

Many employees standing around visiting in the front and only 1 checkout. A lady with an infant was in back of me and I told her to go ahead of me because there was a long line. When I checked out, the checkout lady was very rude.

Great store with all sort of things I would need and great customer service. Unfortunately I saw a worker that had there mask “on” but didn’t. Let me explain. They had their mask on their chin. Not covering their nose or mouth. I don’t know how he went unnoticed by his coworkers.

Pretty standard Dollar Tree. The inventory was lower than it has been in the past. We did find what I went there for and managed to get a few extra things we didn't expect. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a DT. There was 1 overwhelmed employee for the entire store. I stood in line for a half hour to check out. People were angry and this lone employee couldn't even take a bathroom break.

Half of what I went in for was out of stock. Run down and dirty. Yes they are remodeling soon but south store seems to have 3xs the amount of products. I prefer other location.Cashier was nice.

The place looked like it had been looted. Empty shelves and the leftovers thrown everywhere. The guy working, the only person working was busy but very professional. I hope he finds a better place to work. That is deserving of him.

This north Rochester store is tiny and has almost no food section. I drove all the way looking for something specific that is at other Dollar Tree stores and it wasn't at this one. The employee I complained to didn't care. Very frustrating--go to a different Dollar Tree in town. The one by the mall is huge compared to this place.

Very bad store to go. Very disrespectful. They don't treat people equally here. I will never shop at a dollar tree again because of this. Use to love coming and getting balloons but they completely disrespected me here.

Tried to get into the store at 7:21pm when they close at 8pm but the doors were locked and all the lights on. 99% sure the employee(s) who were supposed to be inside the store working were sitting out front in their vehicle. They were clearly laughing at us trying to open the door and even watched someone else try to get in and were laughing at them. I tried to call the store but no answer.
