You need to do better with check outs. Even at noon during the week the lines are alway 12 deep. I spend more time in line than I do shopping

I am really impressed with the optical team at our Costco in Rochester MN. Not only do they have the best selection of frames I've found in town, but they're ultra affordable. I have some specific vision issues that I've learned require custom specialty support... but this team was willing to work with me patiently (if not enthusiastically) until we solved a complex riddle with my prescriptions. Some of my glasses will still require a specialty lab, but thanks to this dedicated team of problem solvers, I now know the recipe for success when it comes to supplemental pairs of glasses to keep my style feeling fresh. I'm very grateful for their help and encourage you to give this optical team your business.

We get the majority of our groceries and home goods here because there is such a variety of products. They are all high-quality and very reliable. The staff are amazing and so helpful and accommodating. We love all the samples and trying new items that we haven't experienced before. We just noticed in the parking lot that they have a tire pressure station, which is very accurate and precise. The gas prices are always a better deal than other gas stations. We also enjoy the food that you can order and it's ready so quickly with tables to sit at to enjoy a meal. So it is a one-stop shop at Costco for most of everything we need for daily living. We really appreciate having Costco in Rochester.

Costco, they are always a bit different depending where you are. The Hawaii one is very different! They don't all stock the same stuff, and their inventory is always changing. (Sure,some things are always there.. but a lot changes). Love our local Costco's steaks, cheeses, avocado, olive oil, pizzas, and bulk prices on high quality items.

As a shopper who grew up shopping at Sam's Club, I'm still getting used to the brands and quantities that Costco has. I've bought some super soft blankets that I would recommend so far. Their baked goods are great!

Great products great price on gas . Great price on clothes.I left sams club because it became unsafe to shop there .I was attacked called all kinds of racial slurs at sams club and then kicked out of the store by a sams club manager in Fridley mn foraking a complaint.The attacker was able to continue shopping.I really made the move out of loyalty to my family.I would never go back .Cosco is clean friendly and they have a way better quality of products.Glad I. Moved.

Not all Costcos are created equal.This one is top notch for service & atmosphere (not too busy, etc).Only downside is they don’t carry many of the interesting Asian foods that you’ll find in West Coast Costco’s.

Customer beware! They practice some sort of witchcraft that puts a spell on you! Before you know it, you are walking out with hundreds of dollars worth of items that you may or may not need but convinced yourself to get it anyway because of "it's a really good deal."I must go now, my wife is picking me up shortly to go to Costco.

Update 11/23The store has backed down on checking self checkout memberships before checking out. Also added the scan app feature at pump and self checkout which is a major benefit bs carrying the member card.Original reviewThis is a standard Costco store. I am a big fan of Costco. This store locations is is clean and easy to navigate.3 stars and it is incredibly frustrating that this store checks your membership at the door upon entry, then checks it again in detail to allow you to use the self checkouts, the self checkout doesn't work without scanning the membership card, then they check you yet again at the door when leaving. I spend more time proving I am allowed to be in the store than I do shopping it feels like.I have a business membership and need to be able to send someone to pick items up if we are in the middle of a project. Even with a standard membership I would like to be able to send someone to run errands. It's insulting that you are checked as if you are going through TSA to make sure that you have a membership, especially when you can't even unlock the register without one.

Standard clean Costco! Liquor store adjacent to usual offerings! The reps at the T-Mobile booth are excellent and very helpful. It is great to actually have some technical phone help at a store like Costco!

I'm giving him a five-star due to the fact that my wife lost her wallet there and they called the next day. They had our wallet. They obviously are honest people that are working there and they didn't have to do any of that. It is a Costco. You will get the same experience as in any other Costco. Employees that are not unnice, but not overly helpful either. They work there. That's all they seem to do. I know most people don't go to be treated like you're at Publix, but OK.

They seem to read your mind of things you need. The constant rotation of goods, makes every trip a pleasure. We have bought so much furniture here it's crazy. The stuff is really good quality. The last thing we bought did have a moldy pallet under the plastic wrapped TV stand. I went in and after getting to talk to one of the main guys, they were able to help me out. I still give this place 5 stars because it's on point everytime and even though this last purchase was less than satisfactory, they worked with me and that says a lot.

I love Costco but why are they allowing a gang of 5 people from T mobile to bother every single person walking by? 5 PEOPLE and they where all just goofing around! On this particular day one of the lady’s was greeting everybody with a strange British accent and spoke to my son along the lines of “well hello chap”.. I told her not to speak to my kid. I did relay this to a manager and how this is not what I want when I’m at Costco, he seemed to understand. Just really disappointed and annoyed.

I would give this place a zero if I could I wasted my time for them to tell me I couldn’t use my own husbands card, they told me it wasn’t transferable, I rarely shop without my husband, this place is a joke, they wouldn’t help me at all, did not care and I will not be shopping here. I’m not going to buy another membership when I rarely come there in the first place… I will be going to Sam’s Club for now. There products suck anyways.

The beef selection has been nothing more than pathetic! I frequent this location due to convenience. However, it's such a disappointment that there are no prime grade steaks or whole loins, and prime whole briskets. I would consider it lucky to find a choice grade brisket. We need something better than questionable choice grade NY strips.

Handled a return of warehouse damaged mattress ok. Worst part was that a mattress that was impaled by a forklift was sold in the first place. Hauled it home 30 minutes away, hauled it up a flight of stairs only to discover the major damage was not just the plastic bag

Convenient location for NW Rochester. Some great deals on computers, tablets, and other assorted electronics. Good selection of Samsung and Mac's but hit or miss if you're interested in another brand, definitely worth a look. Good deals on air purifiers 360sqft for 130$, you won't find this ratio of value anywhere else in town. Great selection for adult and kid snacks. Need to supplement with a regular grocery store for the usual family but good deals on whats available. Go around 2pm to avoid longer waits.

The checkout lanes are highly inefficient. Chaotic. There was raw chicken spilled all over the checkout belt at Zoe's register. They got the lady new chicken, but failed to wipe off the belt runner. Really gross. Getting out of there also takes forever even if you just have an item or 2. Not worth it at all. A mess. Self-checkouts do not take cash. Dysfunction
