What a great place for pet and pet owners!They gave daycare, grooming, retail, and more! Staff is wonderful, and pet products are great. I had the pleasure of touring the entire facility and can not say enough good things about it!Also, they offer classes and education for bite prevention and dog care.

Our black lab Rip has been attending play care weekly at Central Bark for almost a year. They take such good care of him and create a great environment for both play and rest. Rip has learned how to hang out with other dogs, not be aggressive and share treats and toys. Abby, the manager, has spent a lot of time with both Rip and us teaching and training. She is the best. The facility is always clean and staff truly care about your dog. Great place!

Central Bark is honestly a game-changer when it comes to taking care of our dogs. We've tried pretty much everything they offer - boarding, grooming, you name it. The folks there really know their stuff and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs. It's not just about keeping them safe; they make sure the pups are having a great time, whether they're running around, getting pampered, or just chilling out. My dogs can't get enough of the place, and seeing how pumped they get every time we go there just proves how awesome Central Bark is.

Wonderful experience. As a first time fur parents we were anxious about how things would go, but the staff have been so welcoming. They do such an amazing job explaining and answering questions. And the quality of the groom is top notch. So pleased. Highly recommend!

This place is so great! I always have a wonderful experience whenever my dog is here for grooming, boarding, etc. The staff are friendly, courteous, and attentive. I tried several other places in the Rochester area for dog boarding before discovering Central Bark, and my experience with Central Bark has been the best! I know my dog receives so much love and attention when he’s there, and that gives me peace of mind when I’m away.

We have been bringing Bailey, our soft-coated wheaten terrier, here for the past couple of years. They have skilled groomers and everyone I have encountered there is personable, professional, inviting, and upbeat. Danielle has been Bailey's groomer numerous times and has always done an amazing job with her. I highly recommend Central Bark!

Our Girls are rescue and always a little nervous to meet new people and pups, but they are so comfortable at Central Bark now, they run straight from the entry door to the back....they are ready to greet and play! I wouldn’t send my adult dog anywhere else in Rochester. Positive reinforcement only, quality care with a team that really enjoys what they do. The owner is also great and if your dog ever has issues they’ll work through it with you. It’s great!

I was waiting for a few visits before I did my review. I wanted to see Thor's reaction to the building during the first few visits because that would tell me what he thinks of it there! He LOVES LOVES LOVES it at Central Bark. When we get to the building, he paws at the door to get in. Once he's in, he doesn't even think twice before he greets the staff and heads to the door where his buds are. He wears a GPS tracker and the last two visits he's put on 12.3 & 12.5 miles while he's there and considering he's a Doodle with a TON of energy, it's great to have him get that out of his system. The staff have been excellent to work with and I love the pictures that get put on Facebook so I can see how his day was and most of all, I know he's safe while he's playing. My plan of having him go one day a week turned into two. :-)

Every M/W/F we ask our dog "do you want to go to school?" And she goes absolutely bonkers because that means she's going to Central Bark. Our doggo absolutely loves it here! Her tail wags so hard walking up to the building I'm surprised it doesn't launch off her body. The staff is incredible and you can tell how much they love the dogs that go there. The best part about the place is that they upload pictures from each day so even though I'm chained to my desk at work I can still see photos of my fur baby which makes my 9-5 *slightly* less mundane. Maybe one day my dog and I can trade places and she can go to work for me while I go play at CB?

Grooming A+++I brought my older, thick-haired matted mini Aussie in recently.After multiple failed attempts to try and clean him up with those $30-60 clippers - and other local groomers that just completely botched him.. -I decided that he’s best left with the pros and CB seemed to be great. The reviews don’t lie!I talked over the phone with the gals at CB, and right off the bat it just felt better than what I’ve experienced in the past. They are so professional and by the book but obvious dog people at heart.CB did a wonderful job taking care of my baby boy, he came out of the back room with a full wiggle butt and so happy!I felt bad not getting him in sooner, we will only continue to go to CB for grooming from now on.What an amazing crew. Wish I could give a 10 star. Thank you, all of you!

Our dogs are very quirky and sometimes can be a lot. Central bark has always been able to take care of our dogs and give them the special love they need when we're gone. Big shout out to the manager Abby, she is nothing short of amazing and one of the big reasons we feel so comfortable bringing our dogs to Central Bark.

My lil guy passed away and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate our experience with this place. The groomers were always so gentle with him and he always left this place in the best mood. One of the groomers gave me a print of his paws after a grooming session one day and I still have it on my fridge today. I truly believe those grooming experiences extended his life, helped calm his puppy soul, and overall wellbeing. Your kindness will always be remembered.

Everything about Central Bark in Rochester is excellent. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Christine the groomer is simply fantastic and not only loves our pup, but is a skilled and careful groomer. Our pup needs special grooming to ensure she stays mat and tangle free. Christine is knowledgeable about her coat and always asks good questions. We love spa day!

I usually have a lot of anxiety leaving my dog behind when I go out of town, but most of that disappeared when I first let her stay at Central Bark. I know she will have a nice, interactive time there with their staff members whom I know will love and care for her while I'm away. They are so positive and thoughtful, and they're great at communicating with us. I know she is safe and happy in their hands every time I drop her off.

We love Central Bark. Our dog has gone twice a week for most of the year. She gets socialization, crate training time, and comes home tired. I appreciate the drop off and pickup hours, and the additional services like nail trims and baths. They also take dogs for overnight boarding. I highly recommend trusting them with your dog.

My girls love going to playcare at Central Bark! Never a day goes by when they aren’t absolutely overjoyed to arrive and get inside to play. A wonderful experience for our 14 year old, Golden Retriever! Before our appointment, Central Bark took the time to call our veterinarian to make sure all his information was up-to-date. It is a very welcoming place and Christine (Groomer) took the time to make our dog feel comfortable in a new place. From start to finish, it was only 90 minutes for everything that our dog needed. This dog daycare is the BEST daycare my dog had attended in her 13 years of life. The staff are caring, compassionate and reliable. Central Bark became my dogs favorite place during the week. She was always so excited to be there and just as excited to come home at the end of the day! I highly recommend this place!

Have you ever been reluctant to leave your beloved dog anywhere except with a close friend or relative; we sure have?! However, we found ourselves in a real jam in a city 1/2 way across the country from anyone we knew. We were so fortunate to find the outstanding owner, staff and groomer at Central Bark, Rochester MN who have gone way above and beyond to assist with caring for our 7 YO dog, as one of our family members receives frequent medical care at Mayo clinic (our home is FL). Our dog enjoys regular doggy daycare days where she can romp and play inside and outside in the “gyms” with the loving, caring staff, or chill out if she chooses. Plus, her grooms are the best she has ever received!! Some of the staff have become her substitute “family” to our precious dog and we KNOW she is safe and has a good time “hanging out” with the gang! Central Bark has been a welcomed addition to our Rochester community. I enjoy the location for it is down the street from my office. My experience thus far has been great. The two items that stick out for me is the customer service and knowledge of them team members. I own two greyhounds and they tend to need a particular type of food and through thoughtful questions by Lenny we were able to find a right fit. I will continue to get our food here and we plan on utilizing the doggy spa day option in the near future!

Congrats on your 2nd Anniversary! We were lucky enough to leave our 2 beagles with you a few weeks ago. We were visiting in town and needed a place for them to play for the day. Abby was so kind and helpful in getting us in that day. The dogs did great and were even comfortable playing with other dogs within a short time of arriving. The staff was very welcoming and kind and seemed to bond with our dogs right away. We will definitely come back next time we are in town! Thanks so much.

We have always been very reluctant to have Sushi go to day care because her previous experiences have often left her overwhelmed and we were always concerned whether her unique needs would be met. We tried Central Bark for the days when she would be left alone for a length of time. So far, the experience has been good. Sushi is much more socialized. The place does not have too many dogs so that it is overwhelming for her, and it appears that great care has been taken to ensure a good dog-to-staff ratio. The staff is friendly and genuinely concerned and never brushes off any question or request.
