Large, German based, owned and operated discount grocery chain that opened its doors in 1948. Taking a no frills approach, stores stock their shelves with mainly house-brand items in open boxes on shelves, bulk items on pallets and a wide array of fruits and vegetables. Dairy, deli, frozen, meats and bakery offers a reduced variety compared to major grocery chains. Very small section of personal hygiene, seasonal items and soda varieties can be purchased. Produce can be hit and miss on quality and shelf life is short. This laidback approach cuts the cost, returning the savings back to the consumers. Some of their cost savings can be annoying, like paying a quarter for the grocery cart that is refunded when you return the cart. Or no plastic or paper bags are available, but reusable bags can be purchased at checkout. Your items are placed back into a cart and you have to move to a bagging area to bag your own groceries. If you forget your recyclable bags and wish not to purchase theirs, you may find discarded boxes available in the bagging area. One certainly cannot purchase all that one would find in a normal grocery store, but routine shopping here can set your sights on regularly available items. This store was overall clean, reasonably stocked and comparably priced to other retail grocery chains. Check-out was quick and easy with the usual approach of moving the masses with little to no verbal exchange with the customers.

4 stars for the prices, friendly staff and clean store. However, be aware of this young black man wearing a red and grey athletic jacket with a white T-shirt and black jeans and a red baseball style cap. He has been seen a few times with an Aldi bag and other bags standing out front. He has been approaching customers especially young women and kids and seniors like age 55-70 asking if they would donate some groceries or have spare cash for him. This is NOT okay and is going to drive people away if the pan ha sling continues. This happened to my kid and I and it was off putting. I also saw two other men in the parking lot approaching an older couple asking for spare change. I began alerting people who were parked by me to make them aware of this and tried to find a number to speak with a manager about this issue but there is no number. To the owner or manager: Please let RPD know about this pan handling and up your security and enforce your store policy to ensure the safety of those who just want to get their groceries and then go home. Thank you

Shopped for Easter dinner the sweet potatoes were nice size ,variety of buns ,several options on salad price of hams was low fruit looked great had everything we needed price was good

I love this store. I can find good deals even when the economy is taking a dump. My favorite foods; Fruit, Grapes and Strawberries they're always my favorites. And the chocolate bars. Not to complain about Hershey chocolate But... The Dark chocolate, white chocolate, coconut, almond, and toffee bars are to die for. Oh my gosh, as I enter the store, my cart goes directly to the source of happy sweetness. ❤️🤗 I never leave with just one bar.

Update from years ago. They now have self checkouts so you don't have to have a checker throwing your groceries into a basket and smashing them. Tried a lot of products. One was superior and one way inferior. The rest were of lower quality for a little less money. Basically a wash in my opinion. Not worth going there for.

Floor in the produce section near the entrance was dirty, shopping cart tracks thru squashed produce 🤢 Very limited selection of goods for an Aldi's - basically a glorified convenience store. Employees were friendly and helpful. No bags furnished at the register and it's a 25 cent deposit for a shopping cart. 😑

This place is amazing! I just started shopping here and I absolutely love that I can fill my cart and not worry about the cost! I’m giving 4 stars because sometimes you will go there and they will have something one week but not the next. Still love the prices and they still have a pretty large selection!Edit to earlier review:I am actually quite disappointed that they inflate their prices for pickup orders. This makes it difficult to compare prices online, and at this point Walmart beats them out when you look at it face value. Times are hard, and if they allowed the employees to accept tips, then I would have no issue paying more to order online and have them bring the groceries out, however I have had multiple employees tell me they would get in trouble if they accepted a tip. Other grocery stores are the same way, however, Aldi is charging more for a service that already includes fees, and there is no extra bonus for the employees for doing the work. There are still a lot of really good deals at Aldi, and they are very efficient in the way the business operates, but I have been shopping at other stores recently due to the fact that I can't get a true price online. I do pickup orders due to having a tight schedule plus children in tow so it is very convenient to opt into pickup orders. I just don't think we should be charged more for each item while also paying for all the extra fees that are ALREADY included in doing an pickup order. If you want to raise your prices then just do it, you already have, along with many other retailers but inflating the price of bread, milk and eggs online is not going to get people to shop there.

I'm from out of town buying supplies for wedding rehersal dinner. You lost $500 over the $.25 you make me pay to get a cart to be able to shop?! No carries change anymore. I went to competitors store.

My favorite place to shop every week. Cannot beat the prices and they have really cool, unique items to try as well as everything you'd need for everyday groceries. Lines are always quick and staff is awesome!

Typical small grocery store with off brand products claims of extra savings. Must use a deposit to use their stores grocery cart and bring your own grocery bags.Not a great shopping experience or savings if any! Like all stores there are deals to be had.

I love ALDIS I have gluten allergies and wheat allergies. So do my daughter. I'm afraid that I passed that along to her. She handles it very well. There are so many more places that have gluten free menus. That is wonderful for all that have it also. I would encourage anyone who is experiencing eating what everyone else is, please give ALDIS a try. I'm sure you will be very happy.

Good quality produce at good prices. I can get as much food for my family for less than I would have paid at the grocery store with my coupons. There are certain things you can't get there -Pepsi products, specialty items. That is fine-grocery store coupons for those few things can be done when you save this much money! Just remember to bring your quarter for the cart, and your own grocery bags.

Aldi's is a great way to save some money on groceries. Download the app and you'll never miss out on the weekly deals. The fruit and vegetables are very reasonably priced! There are many brands and food types that I like and some I don't because they seem a bit generic tasting. Everything is quite affordable though so you can try them and see if you find some new favorite foods.

Awesome prices for produce. Different products at different stores, though. Get there early on Saturdays or the pickings will be slim for produce by late afternoon. Pretty much everything is off-brand but it's still good stuff & MUCH easier on my wallet.

I have been an Aldi shopper for about six years. Some locations are nicer than others and in nicer areas of town. Have a quarter handy to get a cart (returned to you when you return the cart). Bring your own bags, skip the bags, or pay for bags there. Prices are very competitive and they have weekly sales. Carefully check over fresh fruits and vegetables (they do have a great return/refund policy). They have greatly expanded their product selection in the last year with several organic and gluten free options. Cashiers are FAST!

WORST customer service I have ever received. The woman checking us out was literally shoving things from the counter into the cart WHILE we were attempting to fill our bags. NO communication other then expressing frustration while we asked to get another bag of snap peas because it broke while she flung it in the cart. Will not be coming back again. First and last time.

Aldi is by far my favorite small “grocers” if they can be called that...what is it exactly? Grocery, convenience, or other? They have a few name brand items at good prices and they have their own items at amazing prices. I love their produce selection 95% of the time. They also have an interesting selection of other household goods that rotates.Also they seem to treat employees well and pay well.
