Vanity Fur was extremely professional, on time, and gave my boss' dog (half bichon half shih tzu) the best grooming they've ever had. Before and after shots below. Highly recommend! I rescued a long haired cat with numerous deep mats in his coat. The mobile grooming was so convenient. The groomer took time to listen to my concerns and gave great advice. She was kind and loving with my boy. And the results were as discussed and helped him so much. They are my first call when needing any additional services. The photos are before and after three months of regrowth. Thank you!

They’ve cancelled on me multiple times. I keep trying to use them because it’s convenient for my anxious dog. They were supposed to be at my house to groom my dogs over 30 minutes ago now and I’ve called and texted their text line with no response. They need to do better.

We’ve used Vanity Fur twice now for our Havanese, Buster, and will never go anywhere else! Samantha is the best groomer we’ve ever had! Buster is an older and very anxious dog who is terrified of car rides so this seemed a logical choice. But he’s also skiddish with strangers and Samantha is so gentle with him; he really loves her! When he’s finished, he comes back in the house with the cutest decorative collars and was even given a holiday toy for his December appointment.🎄I highly recommend this grooming business; you will not be disappointed!

I've used Vanity Fur multiple times for my dog and have had no issues. I absolutely LOVED groomer Jess as she did a phenomenal job on my pup. After using Vanity Fur many times, I am extremely disappointed in this last appointment. My dog was supposed to be groomed last Wednesday 4/20. I selected the "custom" package that creates a custom groom tailored to your dog that can includes a full body cut. The website clearly states under that package that the package can include common cuts like "summer, kennel, buzz and puppy cuts". I added in the comments of my appointment that my dog gets buzzed for the summer months and that we really like Jess as she's groomed him before. I've always booked this way and have had no issues. My appointment was confirmed days beforehand like always. I confirmed my appointment.Fast forward to the day of service. I received a text message asking if my dog needed to be shaved? I promptly responded with a message stating that is what I wanted, per my note in the appointment confirmation. I received a phone call from the owners husband stating that he would cancel the appointment as he does not cut or shave dogs. In his words, he only handles the "big, mean and aggressive dogs". He said our preferred groomer, Jess, was not working today and that he would not be able to complete our groom as he did not cut or shave any of the dogs. He said his wife and owner Angie was on a flight back home from California and that she would get back to me in a day to reschedule. It's now been a week and I have heard nothing back. I've sent multiple texts to Angie and her husband who cancelled my appointment. No one has gotten back to me. Poor communication skills and lack of planning are two things this business has to work on. I had my appointment scheduled for months as I know how busy this business is. I'm really disappointed that this happened as I loved how our dog was groomed, but this is just ridiculous. They've lost a client who easily spends hundreds, close to a thousand dollars a year with our grooming needs.

Same experience as everyone else. Cancelled initial appt, then rescheduled. An hour late for the rescheduled appt and the groom they did looks terrible! She no longer looks like her breed. It's going to be a long process trying to grow her cut back out. Groomers are hard to find, but this isn't a place I'd use ever again.

Worst customer service from the owners (Angela specifically), which is sad because Jess (the groomer) is awesome.We book our appointments months in advance through the site because we like to be on a consistent schedule. VERY Rarely is the appointment we made completed as scheduled, at the owners choice. We are only sent a system generated cancellation about 24 hours prior to service, with no other contact or options to reschedule. We’ve emailed and text on numerous occasions and after some pushing were able to get rescheduled. Other times they cancel it and reschedule for a random day and time, without discussion or input as to my availability, and again only being notified by a system generated email.I wish I could say these were isolated incidents, but this has happened exactly 8 times in 12 months. We’re finally fed up with the lies and poor communication and will be taking our business elsewhere.

The day of the appointment I was called several times and asked to move up my appointment from 5:30 to 4 to accommodate the groomer. I had to leave work early to make this work, which was fine, I was happy to help. At 4pm I got a text that the groomer was running late and wouldn't be there until closer to 5pm. The groomer did not show up until 6pm. 2 hours after my appointment time that was moved to accommodate them. This was my first time using them and I was watching the van through the front window. The groomer had brought along a helper and he told me he would just be there to make my dogs feel more comfortable. Well I watched the groomer sit in the front of the van's passenger seat while looking at her phone as the "helper" did the groom. I have photos. So apparently an unlicensed groomer was grooming my dogs. Once it came time to pay they tried to charge me $150 per groom when I was told it would be $115. Then I was overcharged $12 each for the teeth cleaning when it should have been $10. I was not provided a receipt. I have emailed them 5 times to get my receipt and get nothing but the run around. I was so hopeful that this would be a good thing for my doggies since grooming is hard for them. This whole experience was incredibly disappointing.In regards to your response, thanks for not accepting any responsibility for your poor service and instead just making excuses.

I scheduled a grooming back in April. The groomer no showed. I called and left a message and the owner did respond and rescheduled for the next day. I waited for the groomer the next day all day and another no show. I called and left a voicemail and text. No one has called me since. It is now June and I’m getting emails and text messages that I have an appointment. I have tried calling and texting to cancel and no one has responded. The communication for this business is awful and would never recommend to anyone. I highly recommend not using this company. Very unreliable.

On May 12th, I booked a grooming appointment for June 12th. I received a booking confirmation number and went on with my day. I didn't realize I hadn't received an email confirmation.Fast forward to June 12th. It occurred to me that I didn't receive a text or email notification to confirm the appointment earlier in the week or that day.When I checked my booking number, I noticed my appointment had been canceled! It had been canceled about an hour after I booked the appointment.I did not cancel the appointment! Nor did I receive a cancelation email or text.I immediately called the main number and per the recorded message, sent text messages to the provided phone number to get a faster response.I didn't receive a response to my text messages that day. Needless to say, my dog did not get groomed that day. And it'll be two more weeks before he can get groomed elsewhere.I've sent follow up text messages and emails on June 13th and 14th. It's June 15th and I still haven't received a response.This has been an extremely disappointing customer experience. Terrible customer service! Someone should have contacted me by now.Double check your booking!

I've gone to Vanity Fur multiple times and every time is amazing! They do such a good job on our big husky who sheds constantly. After getting groomed here he doesn't have to get groomed again for another 4-6 months, so amazing! I also love the little treat they always give you when they bring your dog back to your front door. I will never go to another groomer again, love vanity fur! :)

I know how my review response will go based on the responses the business owner gives to other frustrated customers. She points out how “it states in their site” this and that and essentially blames customers for their misunderstanding. If you ask me, it’s all excuses for poor communication and a complete lack of professionalism. We waited for 6 weeks to get a Saturday appointment at 7:30am that was confirmed by text 2 days prior to the visit. Our Saturday appointment was missed without a call, response via text message or VM left at the business. Found out 2 days later that the groomer didn’t know she worked that day- fine, no problem I guess. I was promised they’d fit us in right away for the inconvenience. No call, nothing. I texted, no answer. I tried calling and VM is full. Save yourself some frustration and look elsewhere.

I am so thrilled after my first appointment with Vanity Fur. I have three senior ShihTzus, they came in looking perfect! And this was the first time ~ wow. The gals treated my pups so well. We've used them for years. It's been hard to get an appointment. We booked an appointment a month ago. They changed the time of it which was no problem. Then the day of the appointment rolled around and they cancelled it out of nowhere with no explanation. Just sent us a cancellation email on the day of our appointment.It's sad since we've sent them a lot of business but we're moving on.

Vanity Fur came to our house, took our dog into their grooming van, as shown in the pictures, and out popped a clean well groomed Golden Retriever! Very satisfied! Staff was friendly and on time. Took about 2.5 hours. Worth the convenience to pay a little more than going to the groomer. We'd use them again and recommend!

I made an appointment for my dog who gets too excited when I take him to the groomer, so I thought having a mobile groomer come to us would be easier. I am out of the service area, so I called in as instructed by their website, & luckily they were happy to come my way on a Tuesday afternoon. I gave my email & repeated my phone number twice. The day before the grooming appointment, I found out my dog had ringworm (left over from when I adopted him). I promptly called to give a heads up to see if they would still come out to groom him or if we needed to postpone (and gave my contact info again during this call). I was told since we were last on the route for the day, it was fine, we could move forward, because they could disinfect what they needed to after my appointment. I arranged to work from home the afternoon of the grooming appointment, but my appointment window of 4-4:30pm came & went. I called at 5pm to see if anyone was still coming. I was told that they tried contacting me, but they had the completely wrong phone number for me, & my email address was also misspelled. Frustrating, but I suppose I could see how that would happen, maybe. I was told the groomer decided that they didn't want to groom my dog after all, due to having a child at home. Fair enough, though it would have been nice if the person that I spoke to on the phone the day before had actually spoken to the groomer to confirm that they were ok with grooming my dog. I was frustrated at the miscommunication, but after talking it through & relaying that the vet told me it was actually very rare that the strain of ringworm my dog had would transmit to humans, they told me they could make a weekend day work, probably the next weekend, & that they would look at their weekend routes & get back to me, asking me to "just give me a day or so to put something together". I made sure to say to leave me a voicemail if needed, & I gave them a back up phone number, just in case. It has now been two weeks, & I have not heard anything back at all, not a phone call nor an email. I can chalk up the initial miscommunications & concerns, but what I don't understand is essentially ghosting me. If you don't want to groom my dog at all, or if you want some kind of vet proof that the infection is gone or not highly contagious, that is fine, but just tell me that. Otherwise, it would appear that a potential customer who actively wants to pay you for your services has been ignored, & that is unfortunate. I will be seeking out other avenues for my dog's future grooming, but hey, on a positive note, my dog is much healthier now & well on the road to a full recovery!

Convenient and amazing!For many years, I always had to book Louie's grooming appointment a month or more out. When the day finally arrived, I actually got a little bit of anxiety dropping him off in a chaotic environment of barking dogs in kennels, and a less than desirable check-in experience. Not to mention, having to fill up 1-4 hours of my day with random errands nearby, because I never knew when he would be done.With Vanity Fur Mobile, I can go online to book a day/time and never have an issue getting in, even a couple weeks out. They drive right up to our door, and I get to drop Louie off with an amazing/friendly groomer, who gives him 1-on-1 time, in a stress-free environment. I'm pretty sure Louie appreciates it as well, considering he gets very nervous and anxious easily. The groomers are so quick and efficient, and I know within and hour or hour and a half, he will be groomed and decked out in a cool bandanna or tie! Best yorkie haircut every single time!I highly recommend this service to anyone who's busy, or just wants a more personalized service. They are our babies after all, so they deserve the best :)

When our mobile groomer of many years retired, I was sad and apprehensive to find a new groomer because we have had not so great experiences in the past. I have 3 dogs, so mobile grooming makes my life a lot easier and less stressful for the pups. I called and made an appt. Jessica from Vanity Fur showed up right on time. She instantly cooed at my pups and snuggled them which made me feel at ease. I told her to groom my 3 Yorkies as she saw fit, and didn’t give her much direction. I was ELATED when they all came back with legit the best cuts they’ve ever had. Jessica is kind, a great groomer, and an animal lover. There’s no better assurance your pups will be taken care of then someone who loves on them like you do! Thank you Jessica!

I am very disappointed in Vanity Fur. Let me start by saying I have a very large St. Bernard who gets anxious and is not easy to groom.The first time I called, Vanity Fur did an A+ job. ...the second appointment I was run around from Thanksgiving weekend until I finally gave up on Superbowl Sunday. They cancelled on me and had no/shows on 3 to 4 different weekends. A few were not their fault because their pipes froze.The last two appointments I made were no/shows and no/calls returned.If they didn't want to groom my dog I would have completely understood and all they needed to do was be honest. Now my dog looks like a giant bear and he is going to be even harder to groom. Vanity Fur - all I would have asked is that you would have been more considerate, up front and honest.

Vanity Fur came to my house and was right on time. Their staff was very friendly and very professional. I have had the pleasure of using them twice and each time it was a wonderful experience. Their vans are very clean and amazing. It was fun just checking it out. I highly recommend Vanity Fur to anyone. Again, very professional, easy to talk with, and prompt arrival as promised.
