I bought a variety of birds and experienced about a 60% survival rate. It's unclear where the breeds are sourced from but I had some ducks that out of 6, 1 survived. I have bought from Bomgaars and online and they all survived so 🤷‍♂️.The main issue why I’m leaving a review, lies in their inventory management—orders placed online often end up being partially unavailable upon pickup. It's frustrating to drive all the way out there only to find that half of your order is out of stock. Improvement in this area is crucial.

Employees pushed the Neighbor’s Club on me and promised “you won’t get any junk mail or messages it’s just to track rewards”. Immediately my email was filled with promos and it has now been 2 months of trying to get my email and phone number off of their contact list.

I had to interact with three different associates today and they were all friendly and helpful. Highlight for the day was the propane refill which was significantly cheaper than exchanging a tank.

Helpful staff and they always have the chicken food and dog food brands in stock that we like. Could use a couple more staff members but other than that, great place to shop for anything farm related.

We shop here for our chicken supplies. They have a great selection of different food and treats. However watch your receipts I have been incorrectly charged twice but it has always been corrected since I caught the mistake. Employees are helpful if you need them.

Called asking if they had a specific type of chicks available I clarified that they they had that specific type. Was told yes they had a lot so I drove two hours round trip to find out that the they didn’t have them. The women I spoke to on the phone told me “I thought we did, sorry” wasted my Sunday morning. Will never be back.

I really wanted to be able to shop here but way too frustrating. Called there and woman in customer service answered. Very crabby and unhelpful. Couldn't help me find a package the I ordered online. Had been delivered and she just wanted me to go online and check. Ended up coming in a talking to 3 people before someone found it for me. I understand maybe they didn't know what they were doing but no reason to be crabby. Done with TSC.

Not the greatest experience.. I ordered a fire pit online from them that was delivered in very poor condition with clearly unacceptable manufacturing quality. Had to fight with customer service for days to agree to a store return. Then after going to the store and waiting 15 minutes before someone could help me, I wasn’t refunded the entire amount of my online order and still had to pay additional “fees”. Not going to give them my business ever again.

We usually get our chicks and ducks here. We only had one experience so far when we had called a day prior asking when the next chick shipment came in, and they told us they’d be getting some the next day. We showed up an hour before the store opened because they had told us it’s always busy on the first day of ChickDays. We went inside and they told us they had none coming that day. Unfortunately we had to take our business elsewhere, but did end up getting chicks the same day at a different place up north. Looking to get some ducklings soon and hoping we’re able to without any inconveniences this year. Overall it’s a good store, just be prepared for them to sell out of certain breeds pretty quickly. Especially silkies (when they do have them) and other “special” breeds. Ducklings also come unsexed, so if you want all females you’ll have to just stick to chickens. All of our chicks have been healthy and depending on the employee helping you, you might get to choose which specific chicks you want.

Filled my 5 lb propane tank I use for ice fishing. I learned that the prices are approximately 1/2 of what I had been paying else where. Nice!Just want to add a note from an experience this morning. I stopped in to grab something quick and was waiting by customer service desk. Every employee that walked by asked if I was helped or needed help ( ~4 employees in a few minutes). Just excellent service and really need to shop here as often as I can.

I can't say enough good things about the friendly folks at this Tractor Supply! So helpful and pleasant, and when I brought my young dog in to shop for dog toys, every staff member I met said "hi" and the checkout had dog treats. They stock a lot of hardware and pet and farm supplies that I'd otherwise have to go into town to buy. Convenient and great prices on propane too. A great asset to have in Prior Lake!

Was very pleased with the mower I purchased however the store didn't have the owners manual at the time of pickup and it was to be sent to me. It still hasn't happened. I contacted the store after a couple of weeks and was assured that the manager I was speaking with had it in front of him and he would send it out tomorrow morning. The order was May 23 it's now well into July and I guess it's just really hard to get the store to actually mail it as promised. This could have been a very positive review but for the poor treatment from the store.

I'm sorry you have mask police negatively reviewing your business. It's not as if the overreaching of our state government hasn't been hard enough on private property and businesses. To try and hurt a business even more is insane. Tractor supply is a good business with a unique supply of items in a more convenient setting. It's a nice addition to the Prior Lake area. Thank you for respecting people's privacy.

Dan was incredibly helpful! He spent a lot of time with us figuring out which electric trailer brake controller we needed to install in our truck. He even went out to our truck in the parking lot several times to test the equipment. Fantastic service!

Tractor Supply - Prior LakeGreat store. Friendly and helpful staff. The store manager is top notch. After making a purchase in Prior Lake and noticing the items on sale 4 days later he was very helpful at seeing to it I received sale price on the items. This might not sound like anything that incredible, but long story short I was at a completely different TSC location in another state working with their manager over the phone on this issue. All in all the service was top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to spend my money with TSC, especially the Prior Lake, MN location.

Staff at this store has been so helpful and so informative regarding how to garden, as i have never gardened other than patio gardening and am having my first garden spot. Just absolutely wonderful, helpful, and the experiences made me want to go back for each thing i needed.

Excellent variety of animal feed, bedding, confinement options, toys, and general purpose tools for farms large or small. Clothing and boots for all ages of farm hands plus the friendly staff will help with advice or special orders. Great discount club is also available with many items delivered. They truly care about your problem and the animals you care for.

Frustrated today. Was patient as I waited for the Assistant Manager to assist me to get some chickens to replace the Turkey chicks given to me by accident. Felt she delibertly ignored me at least twice. Walking away before I could even say a word. Young Man stepped up and did the right thing though. Happy with him. However she could use a lesson in courtesy.

No one would check my husband out ...he was waiting by the register watching an employee leaning on the racks of clothes he was supposedly straightening. And another employee watching kids looking at the chicks and ducks. Neither could be bothered to help the customers.

Good store with a little bit of everything. Pet food and toys, livestock supplies, tractor and auto care products, Hardware, paint, clothes, garden and yard care on up to farm field and horse pasture products. The ladies working there are always super helpful and really make the visit a pleasant experience.

I brought back a generator I bought a while ago. A gift for my son . I had bought a second one for my older second son. That one ran first pull. This one we couldn't even get it "pop". Store is always dirty and unorganized. Employees don't know where items are located. Don't trust the website if it shows an item in stock. Even if you call to verify before driving to the store you will be lucky if the phone gets answered . Obviously poor management .

Store should be open based on the sign for daily store hours but automatic sliding doors are not opening. Tried calling the phone number listed on Google Maps but the call doesn't go through. I drove 25 minutes to get here and I can't get in. I will take my business elsewhere.

I tried to place a special order with the Prior Lake location. The manager said "if it is not on our website, we can not order it for you". He flat out refused to assist. I called the manufacturer, they told me that Tractor Supply not only does it everyday nationally, but that TSC is their largest customer. I then worked with the Tractor Supply location in Inver Grove Heights. Jasmine got it done. With the Prior Lake location, I couldn't believe how difficult it was to try to spend $600.00. For the manager to have that type of thought process on sales, they must have so much business at this location that they just don't care. Very, very disappointing.
