Location is smaller than I'm used to. Well kept and organized, on brand. Staff weren't knowledgeable of where things were. "Fresh flowers" is true to its name. Solid grocery store if you don't need to ask questions.

I visited Byerly's tonight (8pm 4/8/24) to "splurge" on a frozen pizza and caesar salad after a long day. I picked a delicious looking pizza that had a "SAVE NOW" $1 off coupon stuck to the box. There were several different flavors of the same brand and they all were offering that same coupon.Once I was in the checkout line, I peeled off my coupon and got ready to checkout. The cashier says "your coupon is expired". I told him I had JUST peeled it off the box (he had watched me do it). He said, "well it's expired" and showed the bag boy to confirm. I said, "In that case, is the pizza expired?!". He looked at the box and said no, the pizza was still good. I explained that ALL of that brand of pizza had coupons on them... He said "Do you still want the pizza?" I said, no thank you.He then saw that I had typed in my membership id and suggested a different pizza that was on sale. I politely declined.I realize it's only one dollar... To me it's about the principal. I would have been totally fine if he had said "I'm really sorry about that. We'll have to go and pull all of the coupons off of those pizza's. I apologize for the inconvenience." Although, it would have been better if he had just given me a dollar off on principal but he did neither of those. It's definitely a lose/lose situation when an establishment is willing to lose a customer over $1. But when they charge prices like that and make little to no effort for their customers I would MUCH rather drive the 10 miles to Aldi where the prices are crazy low and the customer service is A+.To add insult to injury I had to bag my own salad on the way out :/

I went here a little while ago, and Grayson the carryout was so helpful and kind. He helped me find pinto beans! Then he carried out lots of groceries. I think Grayson deserves a raise. Maybe even a manager position!

Lunds & Byerlys in Prior Lake is an upscale grocery store that is a great place to find quality products. Customers appreciate the cozy atmosphere, fresh produce and deli selection, as well as the helpful staff that can carry your bags to your car. You can even find a caribou coffee and flower shop inside. Though a little spendy, the options and overall ambiance create an enjoyable and pampered feeling for customers. The history from Hauser’s SuperValu is something I always remember back when Prior Lake was about 10x smaller.

The greediest grocery store there is. The fact that their prices are so so high when they are the only grocery store in town is shameful. Whoever runs this store should be ashamed.

Food is good here, but, Customer service is pathetic. I don't live nearby but drove 25 minutes each way to get groceries. Had planned dinner of fancy burgers & hot dogs for kids. Got home at 5:15 p.m.. started dinner and found the burgers were missing. Called the store. Yes, the bagger had not put them in the bag! Ruined dinner. Next day drove an hour again to retrieve the 4 burgers that cost $5 each! Sure I got an apology. What about my ruined dinner & hour drive? Really pitiful customer service. Kowalski's markets prioritizes customers & would have given a gift card for the trouble. Not Lunds! Guess I'll be making the longer drive to Kowalskis from now on.

Bakery not helpful or not knowledgeable of their own prices/products. Tried to get some information on some items to be catered. Prices that were quoted were definitely not the same as what was stated online.

Rotten Customer Service. Rotten. Watch them all stand around and do nothing.I will rate this the worst shopping experience ever. At the end of the day, Byerlys has gone WAY DOWNHILL.

Very nice small grocery store. Good selection, very fresh. Full deli, salad and olive bars. Excellent cheese options. The house brand is quality. It has a nice ambiance - almost cozy - there's a caribou coffee in there with a nice fireplace. Definitely not the feel of a typical grocery store. Overall I liked the experience very much and oh by the way, they have grocers carry your bags to your car - excellent perk. This is where I shop in Savage.

We always stop at this great grocery store on our way through town. They have a great selection of specialty items and a fantastic deli. It's a nice option if you're looking for interesting and high-quality foods, as well as more normal fare. Can be a bit pricey. Great for picnics!

Mary Ann was extremely helpful. I told her what I was looking for and when they didn’t have it she tracked it down and got approval to order it and notified me when it was ready in time for my gathering. Thank you Lunds & Byerlys (Prior Lake) for having such caring and customer focused employees!

Walking in this grocery store makes me feel pampered. The environment is very warm and inviting and they have a magnificent selection of fresh produce that will get you inspired to cook some delicious healthy meals. They also have a delightful flower shop inside and a caribou….what more could you ask for? Fantastic.

Just a great store. cant recommend it enough. the staff are all very friendly and remember you which is nice for me since i have no friends. Also their meat department has some very unique and tasty marinated and crusted chickens and beef that change daily which i absolutely appreciate. Takes the hassle outta making new things every night. Also they carry a special cut of beef im not gonna talk about here since i dont want people to buy it up before i can get it.

I work at this store, half of the time I'm the only one working. I'm a cashier and even when I have a terrible cough, stuffed nose, and no voice, they still tell me to come in. I'm touching everyone's food, I don't think they would want that. Supervisors get mad if we have conversations, they tell me to stand and face out. Supervisors choose favorites, some people get to stand around and goof off but if I ever did that I get yelled at. They ask people to come in even on days they specifically asked off. All of the employees that I talk to say they hate their job. Most of us at the front are teens, we don't need old people yelling at us all day. For 8 hour shifts we get two 15 minute breaks, this includes when we have to wait in line for five minutes just to get our food. 10/10 would not recommend working here.

The people are friendly and the service great. I love that it is so close to my house however, yesterday, I bought two petit fours one of which came apart while I was eating it only for me to see that it was quite moldy under the frosting. I am so disappointed. It makes me not want to shop there anymore as I wonder about the quality of the products now.

I absolutely love Lunds. It's got a great salad bar and I think it's very fairly priced also. I do believe the rest of the store is a little expensive. But I've always gotten great customer service.

Surprisingly disappointing bakery/deli items (cake, soup, sandwich, cole slaw). Good service, though, and good selection of retail products packed into a reasonably sized store. Would certainly return if I needed a particular flavor of chips, sport drink powder, chocolate bars, etc.

Very nice grocery store in Prior Lake. Smaller than the big box stores, but the place is pleasant to shop at, the staff is well trained and very courteous, and the deli/bakery is well above average.Prices are competitive enough that I don't hesitate to shop here.

I find this a very pleasant place to shop for groceries. Having said that I rarely shop for groceries. My wife does that generally speaking. She prefers the large stores like Walmart or Sam's or on a smaller scale Aldis. I just think it's a cool place to buy your groceries although I'm sure it's probably more expensive than the ones mentioned above.

I had to come in and exchange an item that we bought that day. I think the seal was bad on it. Anyway, the manager was so kind and understanding and exchanged the product, no questions asked and with a smile. I haven't received such amazing customer service in a long time. I was very impressed.

I went in there today looking for the First Kiss apples. I had been told they had then here. When I couldn't find them I asked Cody (manager) and he told me the Rave apples were comparable. I wanted to try a bite to see and so he grabbed a nice apple from the pile, went into the back, cut a few slices and brought them out for me to try. Now that folks is how you do customer service. The Rave apple was OK but not at all like the First Kiss apple. Regardless, Cody's willingness to let me try the apple and looking up where they came from. He really represented the store and himself so well. Thank you Cody😁

We were at the grocery store and I couldn't even find homegrown tomatoes and it's September 1st. The only thing I could find was homegrown corn. Also very limited selection at the store as it's not like other Lunds or Byerly's. If you're looking for something very basic this might be a good stop. Otherwise, I would skip it in the future and go a little further if you need more than a couple things.

Ok, I have never written a review before, but here it goes...I am honestly fairly shocked at how many positive reviews there are for this Lunds & Byerlys. I am all about supporting local business (does this count as that even though?), but for the price point, the quality of the food is just not where it should be, and I wonder if some people are duped into thinking that the higher price automatically means the quality is high.Produce is iffy sometimes (examples: green grapes with almost no flavor, produce that went bad very shortly after getting it home; does not seem as fresh as Target's produce). Bakery items, from what I've purchased, don't tend to taste as good as they look (examples: carmel apple pecan pastry, brownie bites). Also, make sure you check expiration dates. We have brought items home only to find they are expired or near expired. This is not something I would necessarily think I need to be so conscious of at such a high end store. One pro - The staff can be very nice, and the grocery bagging service is indeed very nice. They will even help you out to your car with it if you want.I did just return something though that was 8(!) days past the "best buy" date when I bought it, and, while I promptly got a refund, there was no apology. Just a somewhat curt exchange. And I was very nice about it, even pointing out that the ones I ate before realizing they were expired didn't actually taste horrible, just not as good as usual, trying to keep it lighter and show I wasn't there to take them to the cleaners. I was a little shocked there wasn't an apology of any sort, though maybe there was some embarrassment at play hindering that. I'm not quite sure.2 more pros- My dad likes the meat selection. The butchers go out of their way to provide him with insight and good cuts. My favorite thing about the store is their hot food item bar. If this can be done right, I'd like to think maybe there is some hope that the rest of the store could improve. I also like the location. It's probably the best location for a grocery store for "south" Prior Lake people. Why am I writing this? I am writing this because I feel the PL location for this store is somewhat a "dumping ground" for products that are near the end of their life, and I don't think it's right. I'm not sure if it has to do with PL's location or what, but I just can't imagine the Minnetonka location, which I went to as a child and remember it being extremely nice, suffering from these same quality issues. I am writing this because I am tired of trying again and again here, especially due to the convenient location, only to be let down by the quality of food. I don't make a ton of money, but believe in prioritizing good food, so to spend more on food, but not get a good quality payoff, or at least not consistently, is a let down and can be very frustrating. I am writing this in hopes that it can bring about change and help people to get what they pay for. I'm sure people's hands are tied at this store in ways, and I can imagine some employees are unhappy with the quality, but unable to make the changes they want. I've been there. But hopefully reviews like this can be shown to upper management and encourage a change for the better. Thank you.

Best grocery store in the USA. Being in the military I have lived or stayed in 39 different states and 5 different Countries. My 3 year experience with this store makes me homesick. Every time we move now I'm on the look out for any grocery store that comes close and have been disappointed every time. Expensive but worth every cent especially the deli, bakery I miss ya'all so much!

Don’t crush my chips and my bread into the bag to make them fit.. now I’ve got a busted up bag of tortilla chips and wonky sideways bread. Also, if you’re gonna do the BOGO pizza sale; you should notice what actually sells. If we don’t buy at half price, they ain’t moving at full price either... get the hippie pizzas outta here and restock the stuff that actually sells.
