It's a little pricier because it's a small store but the staff is good and they have most of the things you're looking for.excellent rentals.

Marvs has what you need. Plus, live bait, great lumber quality. Parts and service for small engines. I bought my Simplicity snow blower there 2 years ago. The best piece of equipment I have now. My next purchase is going to be a Simplicity lawn mower. See Chris in power equipment, he is knowledgeable of the Simplicity line up. I currently have a Simplicity mower and I am trading up.BTW, the carpet cleaner's they rent are the best one's I have ever used. Stop in and be surprised by their selection. Last thing, I bought my barm there as well, love it. Thanks Marvs !

People are knowledgeable, handy for mailing packages, they have always had what I needed, may have taken some thinking, planning and improvise but it has worked. Recently went to look at all the shingles to be able to get what I wanted. Was very glad I did made the perfect choice and am VERY happy with my new roof!

Great UPS drop-off. That's all I really go here for as I work in Princeton and this is the only UPS drop. However...many time you have to wait for someone to come to the counter, and there's no bell to ring, so you eventually have to track someone down. Which isn't very convenient when you are on limited time on your lunch!

Yes, some prices aren't as competitive as the big box stores. Yes, the first few times the service wasn't bad but kind of hurried. Now it's my go to and chat few of the people up. Fun little mom and pop place for me.Keep in mind you might pay a few dollars more, but you're supporting local business and price of gas to go to Elk River or St. Cloud makes up for that. Plus the convince of being close for when you forgot something or emergency.

Normally don't have an issue here and everyone is Normally so helpful. But went in the other day looking to see what it would cost to fix my bike (wasn't even sure if they had anything for that) and the person I talked to Literally laughed and said good luck. He was all around rude. I don't want to drop the star rating much lower since they are normally so decent here.

Madelyn was a tremendous help! I have water fountains for my cats and foster cats.. cords get chewed.. she helped fix the low voltage cord and recommended plastic tubing as protection.. thanks

I received excellent customer service here! You get the feeling that the employees work in a family type of atmosphere and that is what you look for in a rural hardware store. Also, the variety here is huge! In store items and items to rent when you're up for some DIY.

Best light bulbs around. They screw in easily and last for quite a while. They have ones that are a little brighter than others too if you end up needing it. Nice packaging as well, they dont over do it. I have one light bulb in my pork cellar that i bought back in 1992 from them and it still works to this day.

It wasnt busy. And i was in a isle that had what i needed and a employee came by doing his thing and seen i was not just grabbing and going took time to ask me if i needed help. I of course said "no i think i got it" of course i didnt at the time but figured it out. and the check out was quick and total was not to bad either. sire was clean and plenty of convienent parking thanks.

So as the world is going threw this awful time, I just wanted to thank Marv’s true value for accommodating me. I have some sinus issues going on so I didn’t want to go in to the store to get my paint. I called and asked if I could pay for it and if they could please run it out to my car. As a truck driver delivering products, people are polite, friendly, and efficient unloading. Hilo operators are accurate and gentle on your equipment. Nobody complained about the weather or the freight, nobody even said anything derogatory about the freight or where they were going to put it. It was a pleasure to deliver this very professional business

For the most part, I really like this store. They do have almost anything you need for home repair, garden, etc. Their prices on equine items are higher than other chain stores. Their sales can be a bit confusing and you have to read the fine print to really understand what the terms of the sale are.They do carry many products that are unique to them; an example would be a variety of Shepard hooks that are nicer than the ones at the big box stores. They also have a huge assortment of bird feeders and bird food accessories.The last few times I've been through the checkout line, the girls helping me were ... a bit 'slow' to put it kindly. However, the help on the floor are much more knowledgeable.

They have a huge supply of items for a small town store. It's nice to run there instead of having to go all the way to Menards. Except for today (the 2nd time) we have found that if we have to deal with the guy in the lumber department go somewhere else! He's rude and sells/rents the most expensive without bothering to tell you there's something cheaper! Everyone else is super friendly!
