An extremely overpriced thrift store. Decided to stop passing through Princeton and I will not ever be stopping again. The items are all so overpriced especially compared to other thrift stores in the area. Some on the items I found here were cheaper to buy them brand new. It’s crazy to overprice items that were literally donated for free to you to try and help the community have a place to shop for a decent price.I recommend the thrift store in Braham or the shalom shop in Cambridge or the thrift store in mora that’s off the main road

Updated review and pictures 6/10/23. Pathways thrift in Princeton is a huge thrift store! My 2nd time here. Sooo many puzzles, which I love! Great prices! I bought some postcards for $0.10 each, and some glittery shoes for $5.50. Nice employees. Lots of parking. Automatic doors, nice wide aisles for people with walkers. Check out my pictures!

Prices are too high for a thrift store. I understand you help domestic violence, etc but Cambridge location is a lot cheaper. Baby clothes were even marked too high. Cambridge has baby clothes VERY cheap and reasonable. I bought very used boots here and they were $15. Columbia jackets being over $30.

Love this thrift shop. My wife and I stopped by the shop just to look around. Shop has a good variety of stuff and I didn't notice the prices being unreasonable. Employees were helpful and know their store and what's in it. I'll definitely be going back.

Hey manager or owner, please talk to your employees about having even a shred of respect for your customers, we walked in the door at 5:55pm, we didn’t realize the store closed at 6:00pm, girl at counter yells out I’m closed and immediately shuts the lights off at 6:00pm while we are at the back of the store, and tells us to get out, not cool at all😡

I have tried to donate here about 5 times now and they are either not taking donations, want to pick through every box or only accept things on certain days. I understand lots of people donate garbage but clothes donations are stupid to pick thru. There are no signs or information about what days/ things are taking. I want to donate locally, but you guys make it damn near impossible. I won’t waste my time anymore and I’ll just go to Elk River. 👎

Clean store but their prices are expensive and insane! I love thrifting. On vacations I will stop in new places but I have never seen high prices like some of these were! It does not make sense to buy used condition clothing for what I can purchase online for new! Wont ever be back here!

You never know what you are going to find in this store. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The prices are fair and the selection is great!

I bought over $50 worth of clothing 2 weeks ago. At that time I asked if I could return any items that may not fit. The employee told me I could so long as I had my receipt and it was within 30 days. So, today I brought in 3 items and was told I couldn't return clothing, at all. I informed the gal of what I was told but she didn't budge. I had a cart full of items and I just left them there along with the items I tried returning. I will never again come to your store. It's sad, I buy things and try to help those less fortunate than myself and yet you treat me as if I do not matter. You have lost my husband and I as customers, such a shame. I also will not recommend your business to others.

Came in at 4:40, yes I know you close at 5 and was told we're closing soon and said ok. I didn't know the lights went out at 4:45, and neither did the other 6 people in the store, wow just hoping to find a pair of pants, I guess never mind. And the girls at the register worried about Facebook and family stories not even caring that there were customers standing in line hearing everything cause they weren't quiet about any of it. Should probably set some guidelines for etiquette for employees.

Review update: At one time this was a great place to find decent priced item's that also helped the community! It seems like the overall dynamic of the store, it's overpriced donated items that are supposed to be reasonably marked have gone away! Even the great employees that once worked there are gone! I believe I won't be visiting this store anymore. Whomever is doing the pricing needs a reality check big time!

The volunteers here are really friendly which creates a nice atmosphere. The store is pretty big so you are bound to find something if you dig long enough. Clothing prices vary by piece, but you can expect shirts or pants to be around $2 to $5 per item on average. There's always some sort of sale going on, usually based on tag colors, and if you do multiple visits they have a punch card system for $10 off. Plus the store donates to great organizations, which makes shopping feel like you are giving your community a hug. I recommend this place :)

UPDATED REVIEW (June 2019): I used to love this place but I very rarely go anymore. They let go of all the amazing employees they had (who made the place feel so warm and inviting) and replaced them with some very rude and unhelpful people who don't care at all. Several of the women who work the register give the impression they could care less about their jobs or the store. They're short with you and unfriendly. I had asked an employee if it was okay to try on a shirt that a mannequin was wearing and she acted like I was ruining her life. After I tried it on she told me I'd better be buying it because she didn't feel like putting it back on the mannequin. The last few times I have gone I have just been completely disappointed. I don't even want to spend my money here anymore. I used to like supporting their cause but after the way I have been treated these last few times, I just make the trip to Goodwill in Elk River. Its a shame this location has gone downhill. It used to be my favorite stop every week.OLD REVIEW: One of my weekly stops. I love this thrift store. You can always find something. Occasionally the prices can be a bit high but not always. Cashier Brian is by far the most fun and outgoing cashier I have ever met. He truly makes shopping here a blast! One of the things I love about Family Pathways is their involvement in the community. They allow you to round up your purchase amount which then gets donated to help support their programs for domestic abuse victims in the community.

While this is a good thrift store, my last visit sucked. I took my 1 year old in there. No biggy right, wrong. There is no carts with a child seat in them. I had to hold my 1 year old. So I spent more time holding or wrestling my child. And waiting in line with a child without a cart and holding items sucks.

Got 2 new polo shirts (tags still on them) for about 10% of retail cost. Clean and fairly well organized for a thrift store. I don't come into the area often but I will not avoid this store in the future if I have a wardrobe emergency.

This USED to be a great thrift store. In fact, I would go weekly. Now it is a shame that their good merchandise is put into silent auctions and you have to write down a bid and hope for the best. What you can pick from is junk and I feel the merchandise is also picked over before it even gets to the floor. I am done donating as well as shopping here until they get their act together again.

Friendly, nice people! Told us when we walked in of sale items and store hours. Closing in half hour. Only thing to complain about some "premium" items on display aren't for sale. Price stickers on them though. Oh well, still found some great stuff and decent pricing. A worthwhile stop!

Same junk, prices keep climbing. Will there ever be a thrift store that STAYS thrifty? Now, I have been burned by their silent auction twice. First time, once bidding closed and went to pick up my win, about half the stuff was missing!! Stolen by patron or employee, I'll never know. Next time, winning bid of 50$... for something that DOESN'T work! No one checks electronics ppl are bidding over, paying good money for?? Pretty low. I've stopped going and will not waste my time or money here again.

Lot's of everything from clothes, housewares, antique's, furniture, toys, and more. Prices are responsible and staff is friendly. A clean, uncluttered place to shop.

So disappointed in how they have raised their prices. $15-18 for used kids coats and boots is ridiculous. They weren’t even high end brands. Left without the stuff I needed for my kid.

This place is AWESOME I love the workers, BUT I was dropping donations off at 6:55 and a really younger looking lady was super bitchy about us being there so late. I work in retail and no we don’t always close on time but I’m never rude to my customers. She said WERE CLOSED super rudely and as my mom apologized she glared at her and said nothing. I’ve never had problems with any of the three employees.

I used to love this thrift store. But with a new owner most of what you find on the floor are not for sale. It is all display items that are cute but hit or miss that you will be able to get it when they do sell it when they switch out floor items. It completely defeats the purpose of going to a store. Given you can't buy walmart's actual shelves but you can buy floor items they have displayed. Their prices are starting to go up but that doesnt matter if you can't even buy anything you really want. I hope they pull their heads out of their butts and become the store they could be. They are finally selling some of their decor peices..... Made me happy until i started seeing $122, $200 & $250 price tags. This is becoming an antique store versus a thrift shop. There are several other thrift stores that carry Antiques At a thrift store price. So happy to say we will never be returning to the store and have a few Hidden Gem thrift stores that we will go to. It is a shame because this place used to be amazing but with a new owner turning it into an antique shop with a thrift name makes it mind boggling to charge those prices. I wish you all the best of luck and hope the best for your store but think about changing it to an antique store instead... You get your stuff for free.

I love this thrift store! I always find something I like. And usually everyday they have a discount on certain items within the store. There staff is extemely welcoming and friendly. Hopefully it gets even bigger with even more stuff!

I think the prices here are terrible in fact me and my wife have stopped donating here because when we donate stuff it's to help the less fortunate people then when we go in and see our stuff for sale they have put very high prices on the things and how the heck can poorer folks by the stuff. What a joke there is way better thrift stores so we go to them instead and as far as getting help from their employees its obvious that they are to busy and they are sometimes very rude. and when there is 2 things that are exactly alike they should be priced the same regardless of when they came in. So i do not recommend this place unless you are not one of the less fortunate who just has money to blow!

Extremely high prices especially for being a thrift store with free donations. Are the CEOs taking all the money?

I used to love shopping here, but they continue to get more and more over priced, and the employees continue to get less and less helpful and more and more rude. I think I have done the last of my shopping at this establishment. Until the snotty blonde girl doesn't work there any longer. I can't believe that the management has the audacity to act like that. Worst customer service I have ever had, anywhere.

My sister and i had not been in the store 30 seconds and the cashier yells " Excuse me ladies but you are getting a little Loud dont you think " Honestly thought he was kidding or talking to some one else cause , beside Not being loud, we were in a thrift store Not a Public Library or a Church! He said it again and we both looked at him and he repeated it and then had the Nerve to ask us to just keep it Down! Like we were causing a disturbance! Absolutely the Worst Customer Service i have ever received in the town of Princeton in over 20 years!!!!

I used to LOVE this thrift store, but hadn't been in for almost a year. I was recently in again, and was highly disappointed, as the quality of the merchandise has gone way down, but the prices are much higher. Very dissatisfied.
