Over the last few years I have taken my cat and 2 dogs to Pine City Animal Hospital and always received amazing service. However, they went above and beyond when my dog was hit by a car a few months ago. Since the accident happened after hours I had to take my dog to a emergency vet down in the cities. They didn't do much for him there and by the next morning he was in really bad shape. I called Pine City Animal Hospital and they got him in right away. Dr. Shayla is a wonder and one of kindest person I've ever met. She was able to help manage my pups pain and made the traumatic experience so much better. I don't know if my fur baby would be here right now if it wasn't for Dr. Shayla and the helpful staff. I will always be grateful for their help with getting my pup back to good health. They truly care about the animals they treat.

Always a great experience. This time especially seeing as raz needed a nail trim and doesn’t like cooperating and sometimes needs the muzzle, this time 2 techs came in and 1 just hugged her as she got clipped. WowThank you

On Fri morning my soon to be daughter in law found a kitten on the side of the road in distress in clear need of medical attention. She immediately brought the kitten to her regular Vet twin pines veterinary clinic in Hinckley and was turned away. She called me upset and I got irate as I've been taking me animals to twins pines for many years and referred numerous ppl and she has been taking her cat there for over a year that has bladder issues so they've been getting plenty of money out of her yet they CAN'T take the time to put a kitten down so it's not suffering. YES, she could have left it on the side of the road, hit it over the head and ended it's suffering or took it out to the woods and shot the little thing BUT didn't the kitten deserve better. So thankfully Pine City Animal Hospital was graces enough to end the kittens suffers the decent way and I sat and held it until they did so and that kitten purred, cuddled and died in peace just as it should have. Don't become a Veterinarian if you become so heartless to even take 10 minutes to ease an animals suffering, trust me that kitten was probably thankful. Thank you so much Pine City Animal Hospital even though it broke my heart.

The bed was very kind and compassionate. My little Kitty was not afraid of her at all. She allowed her to do her exam.In the calm of the matter. She was very informative and gave us all the options that we needed for our Furbabies care. I recommend this animal clinic.

I came in with my cat who was sick, I asked for antibiotics they said my cat needed all these tests including an ultrasound. My cat was weak and lost a lot of weight and wasn't eating. My neighbor I paid didn't feed my cat as often as they said they where. However I knew she wasn't feeling good due to her eyes and itching at her ear as well as not being able to keep her balance. I talked to the vet about possible ear infection. He went on to talk about his wife for 15 minutes that she had vertigo. The Vet (who is the prior owner of this establishment) didn't look in my cats mouth ears or eyes. They sent me away with the same cat food I feed my cat. I took 5 days off of work to hand feed her back to eating and drinking regularly. She died 2 weeks after the vet visit, when puss began oozing out of her ear, she later had a seizure and died. I was told all her tests where good, no signs of infection.Rip Meko these people will never understand how much you where loved by my family and I..

We just moved to the area. We took our German Shepherd here for his annual and because he had an ear ache. He was nervous but he warmed up through his appointment. Very friendly staff. The doctor had great advice to make his next visit less stressful, which will be very helpful. We didn't have to wait to be seen. Very thorough. Our second visit, Musk was better and less nervous. Makes me feel comfortable knowing he is in great care and beginning to be less nervous with his new vet. Very comforting.

They could have saved my cat but their excuse was " we didn't know if our machine was working or not" That's a BullShit excuse and they lied to us. This isn't the first time I've had problems with this vet. Do.Better.

We use Pine City Animal Hospital for our 2 dogs and 1 cat. The staff and Veterinarians are honest and genuine and do a great job of explaining what is going on with the animals. We feel comfortable asking what is needed versus optional treatments. Highly recommend!

Inhumane. They were supposed to spay my dog. I had warned them that she might be pregnant. They did bloodwork, and waited weeks for the spay. Then, while they had her cut open, they saw that she was pregnant, and decided to stop, because the vet valued the life of these unborn puppies, rather than my dog, who will likely die during birth. They didn't send her home with any pain meds, because "the puppies". They didn't educate me at all on how to keep her alive, comfortable, what to do after slicing her open and sewing back up. I am beyond disgusted. If you don't have the heart to chose between lives, then medicine of any sort is not for you. She deserves so much better than the care she got at pine city animal hospital.

We Visited this vet yesterday for the 1st time. We had to put our beloved Yorkie Jaxon down. His back legs quit working, he was about 16 years old. They were fantastic. I called at 1 they got us in at 230. Very compassionate very caring and very knowledgeable about how difficult it is for people to put their pets down. I left feeling very sad but at peace. Thank you for your high quality prompt service.

No one wants to go to the vet, but Dr. Jenna and Dr Shayla were incredible in working with my cat after he developed a critical illness. They earned a customer for life.

Some of the staff aren't the warmest. Regardless if the animal is a foster , I feel the person should still receive the same compassion as someone that's the owner. I have brought 2 different fosters on 2 different occasions here. I don't feel like I received much compassion. I won't bring any animal here again.

Extremally happy with my visits to this vet clinic! Unbeknownst to me the 6 week old German Shepard I had just adopted had parvovirus. I had never heard of the virus and was so upset when I found out she was positive, the vet clinic I used to go to tested her but did not offer treatment for parvo, So I made frantic calls from the cities to Duluth desperately trying to find a clinic or emergency vet to bring her to. Everywhere I called was full and didn't have availability for weeks. I called a friend and she told me to call Pine City Animal Hospital because they are the only ones she trusts with her dogs. When I called Pine the gal on the phone was very companionate, at first she informed me that they were full for the day, she then asked me more about my pups condition and said "can you hold for a second? I'm going to speak with the vet about your case" When she returned she told me the vet made an exception for my pup and will see us in a couple hours!I am so thankful for Dr Jenna Frank. Even though it was busy day for her and a terribly hot day(it was 95 degrees full sun outside she treated my pup from my car) she was so kind and took the time to explain the medicines and how to administer IVs to my pup. She by no means was rushing and was thorough with examining and treatment as well. Without a doubt the resources and treatment she provided saved my pups life. Between visits I would receive texts from the vet clinic asking about my pups condition and were always quick to a response. All staff are so friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend!!!!!

This vet is great! We are new to the area and had an incident with our fur baby. They were able to squeeze us in even tho they were booked and Covid-19. They also let me go in with, as long as I wore a mask. Now a days thats rare. The staff was terrific and the tech was very knowledgeable. It was an all around great experience and we definitely plan on continuing with this vet in the future for all our fur baby needs.

My youngest cat had a serious problem with his right eye. It was obvious he was feeling bad. Dr. Shayla quickly diagnosed the problem and prescribed the mediations needed.Within a day, he was obviously feeling much better and beginning to play. After a few days, I could see that the eye condition was clearing up quickly. Now he's back to his ol' jolly self. I'm very happy!

My four month old dog was hit by a vehicle.i frantically went from vet to vet and no one could help. The last vet suggested Animal Hospital in Pine City Minnesota who took her in. X-rays and care to cuts and open wounds on her back legs. Medicine given and instructions on how to use them was given. They follow up with phone calls and precaution visits. My dog and I are very happy. The facility is as clean as any hospital for humans.Staff are kind and caring.

Everyone was extremely friendly and straight to the point. The vet (and her techs) were super sweet to my puppy, so she's already happy to go to the vet now. They're definitely going to be my primary vet from now on.

I have a yellow lab that is terrified of the vet. We actually picked some meds up on Monday so they'd be able to clip her nails today. The 2 vet techs were amazing with her. Her nails were cut before she new it. Every time we've gone there they have been good with her. Even her shots and blood draw she was very good. I'm so glad we found this vet.

My cat had dental surgery at another vet. He was sent home with his tongue hanging out, eyes open, not moving. His body and paws like ice. Very, very scary. I thought he was dying. I called around other to other vets in the area, and was told he needed to get into an emergency right away. One vet told me to bring him to Duluth. I live in Sandstone. I was pretty frantic. My daughter called Pine City animal hospital. They were understanding, and outstanding even though they were full, they said, bring them in right away, and will squeeze him in. I was told what to do in the meantime. I started to do those things, and took him outside, and the fresh air helped revive him. I actually never took him in to them. But they were so understanding so caring. I will be bringing my guy into them for his next vet appointment. Everything they said was so kind and caring. They actually cared , unlike other vets in the area. I think thank them very much. We don’t know what our pets mean to us. They are part of our family.
