If I could rate it lower I would. This store is incapable of hiring a qualified manager after the last one left. The store is a mess, nothing is ever in the right places. The bathrooms are never clean, and from what I have heard the new manager only encouraged cleaning ONCE a week. That is UNACCEPTABLE in a place of business, especially one that sees as much traffic as this one does. Multiple reports have been made to OSHA and to the BBB which clearly have not helped. The employees don't get proper training from this manager. She is rude and borderline impossible to be near. She fired someone for cleaning too much? That seems absurd. The staff turnover at this location is also intense. I feel like the maximum new hires last is a couple weeks. If that! At some point you have to wonder if it's the employees she hires or if it is her? All of the old capable staff are almost gone. Congrats Dollar Tree. You really picked a winner. I for one will no longer be shopping at this store, and likely a lot of customers will share my sentiment.Dollar tree's district manager for this area continues to make excuses for her bad behavior and I am sick of it. She is breaking multiple rules currently being employed there as someone of familial relation (Sister) is employed there, and she is in a relationship with the Merchant Manager at this location which if you read the staff manual you will note is strictly forbidden to fraternize with employees.It is clear to me that Dollar Tree simply is not able to care about the workplace and rules that they set in place or she would have been fired months into her employment. This is ridiculous.

Let me start off by saying that I used to shop in dollar tree often, at one point in time it was a very clean store and pleasant to shop in.The new manager is not an employee I would ever hire. Runs the store like a shipyard. She hired a family member and fired an employee that was there for over 9 years. I will never shop in there agian.

I was just in there to get a base for the Christmas tree I bought there. It came without a base and I thought maybe I could go in and buy it separately, but it turns out it was just missing a base. They said they do not do refunds and they do not have any Christmas trees left. They only do exchanges. But since they do not have any Christmas trees left, they wouldn't help me. The manager on duty did not care to help me. I guess that's what I get for trying to buy a small 4 ft Christmas tree for $5? I can't even set it up now and it's not like it's that huge of a deal, but they won't even refund my money and I live 40 miles away so it's not like I'm going to come in all the time. A very disappointing trip and even more disappointing customer service. $5 wasted

The place cycles through employees very fast. They are not focused on cleanliness. Seems staff is not trained well, and they are under appreciated. Very poor management compared to a year ago.

Dirty all of the time. Facilities are in shambles. Understaffed and undertrained. Bad leadership. Boats of product all over the place. Just unfortunate really, a little over a year ago the place was really put together.

I enjoy shopping there! I like to browse, seeing all the different items they have on the shelves. I especially like their variety of card selections! The people working there are very nice! Glad they have help to keep the store open everyday & later hours!

The place is clean. Well lit & well stocked. Prices r reasonable. A lot of variety. Aisles r clear & wide enough for people to get through. Cashier is friendly & quick. There's a divider up. Great place to stroll through when ur stressed out or u need to take a walk. Very relaxing.

I've always liked our Dollar Tree store here in Pine City, Mn. It's always clean and neat, the shelves are always well stocked and there's quite a wide variety of things to choose from. I've been to other "dollar" stores and none of them are true Dollar stores like Dollar Tree . You have to ask what the price is in other stores and it's very annoying. If you're going to advertise as a dollar store of any kind then that's what merchandise should be and with Dollar Tree it is!! On top of everything else they have very nice employees and they have good merchandise too that's not cheaply Made.Can you tell that I like Dollar Tree stores? It's not often You find a place such as that with not only good quality merchandise but low low prices that they promise and actually follow thru with. Fantastic job Dollar Tree‼️

I really wish I could score them higher. The store is very organized and have a nice variety of stuff but the workers are awful. Checking out today the lady was rude. I understand being busy but a simple smile or hi isn't hard to do.

I've shopped Pine City Dollar Tree about 4yrs atleast 3or4 times a month. First and foremost everything is a $1.....so for this grandma the toys,party favors and gift bags and the holiday items are perfect everyones happy and I spent very little...if you think outside the box as you stroll the isles promise you'll almost always leave with what you need ...I've worked plenty with customers and retail and will tell you in my experience whether it's busy or the holidays or maybe a undesirable customer the staff is always helpful they are more than polite engaging in conversation the store is always clean ,stocked and organized. So I will continue my positive experience and to all that are employed there give yourselves a pat on the back your doing a fantastic job. Because believe me as many rude customers I've been dealt over the years I've equally had very rude cashiers it makes me never want to come back....Thank you so much😀

This store after they switched it around I get lost looking for what I went in for. This must be a marketing ploy cause I end up leaving with everything but what I intended on getting. The prices on something's are crazy high and others are sweet deals. Their clearance needs help something's have been there for a long time and sitting at the same price. That's not how a clearence area works in any other store.

Writing this review not just because it is a good place to save money, but this Pine City store deserves a thumbs up for an incredibly clean, organized and friendly place to shop. I usually find that these stores and those similar often have a bit of an "attitude", like just because stuff is cheap, organization, cleanliness, and friendliness should not be required...or expected. Not the Pine City store, great experience all around and not because they are new, as it is, they have been there for 5 yrs or so!

Love this store. Everything really is a dollar here (unlike some stores that only have a small section of dollar items, but have the word dollar in their name anyway). I actually find lots if items here that I don't find anywhere else. Always feel like I got a good deal.

Make sure to only have them ring what you never questioned because if you want to put something back, they will make you pay for it anyway. They refused to cancel my transaction & start over

I love dollar tree. It is probably my favorite store. It has more expensive things for a dollar. This store is great when you don't want to spend a lot of money or you want to buy a few quick things.

Great Dollar Store part of national chain. Everything a dollar or less, including frozen, canned, and packaged foods, super friendly staff, open every day and night, good parking lot with lots of handicapped spaces, handicapped access with wide isles, very well kept up and clean space, many seasonal celebration and party supplies, great place to pick up small this and thats.

It is a great place to pick up items for less than you would pay elsewhere.Paper plates, shampoo and conditioner, greeting cards envelopes, Candy and so many other egg r things.

Was at pine city location a few nights ago and this is the 3rd time in a row that I've been rushed out by 8:45 and given dirty looks and treated horribly.they say they close at 9.im just gonna shop elsewhere.not worth being treated like I'm such a pain in their butt.i can easily spend my money elsewhere.when I do shop there I spend between $50-75 so it's their loss
