Thielen Meats of Pierz is one of the best full-service meat stores around, and now with pop-ups in the Metro, it’s even more convenient to enjoy their whole range of products. I brought in an antelope from a hunt in Wyoming for processing and these folks did a great job. I had summer sausage and polish sausage made along with choice cuts for steaks. VERY well done!! Highly recommend these folks.

Love this spot! The bacon and salmon are delicious and are now regularly stocked in my freezer. And the staff are very kind. Highly recommend a visit!

We have been buying their polish sausage and country sausage for many years and just recently we noticed that the mustard seed that used to be in it has dwindled down in size of seed and the quanity is almost non existent.Not sure why they changed so much but the great smoke flavor is also different somehow. It's so sad to see such a great place go downhill so fast. Not sure if we may have gotten a bad batch, we will try again and hope it was a one time thing. So many great company's these days seem to lose one or two people and the quality of product drops them right off the charts. Hope that is not the case here. Still giving 4 stars hoping it improves on next purchase. If not next review will be much different.

The smoked salmon is amazing! The subtle smokiness beautifully complemented the natural flavors of the fish allowing the salmon's inherent richness to shine through.The quality of their products and top notch service make Thielen Meats second to none.

Not just for meats. Picked up a jar of horseradish pickles with jalapeños. Also a jar of hot pickled eggs. House sliced horseradish cheese was good, not too strong.Grabbed a pigs ear & smoked bone for the dog on my way out.Staff was curious, knowledgeable & helpful although slightly rushed.Im giving 5 stars because overall experience was great & parking layout was very well planned. ( 2 points of entry, side lot & street side )

I've been going up there to process deer and bear for over 28yrs! They do an excellent job and want the customer satisfied! They have some of the best tasting sausages, hot dogs, jerky I have had! The meat cases are so loaded with delicious cuts, that it makes difficult to decide. The whole crew is friendly and very helpful. They are very much worth my 40 minute drive!! I never leave empty handed.

My wife picked up a pound of Thielen's bacon on a chance - we've tried just about all of the other premium brands, and the bacon looked great in the package.Our gamble paid off big - what a total knockout product! Thielen's might just well be the top of the heap, the best of the whole bunch. It doesn't try to be fancy, but everything it does it does very well. And they don't go overboard on the salt, thank goodness.We are now customers, and looking forward to trying the brats.. can't wait!

Where do I start? My Dad's neighbor kept telling us about this place in MN. So we finally made the drive over and it was so worth it. Sorry to say the prime rib roast I purchased there for our Thanksgiving meal on November 18, was the toughest piece of meat I have ever had. To be honest we, as a family, could hardly cut it on our plates. I think its only fair to let you know why we are not coming back.Jim Cates

As always the best there is. We religiously buy their bacon. Bought natural case hot dogs and polish this time. Hadn't had for awhile. Always well taken care of. Immediately checking on you. Their system works great. Oh and don't forget the beef sticks. We love them all. If you need a good ride in the country there are a lot of cross roads to take and explore. Thanks Thielen's Meats. Feelings is known worldwide for their excellent most T-Bones round steaks fillets ground beef sirloins. They butcher their own meat and everything is local grown. You want pork chops pork tenderloin best chicken and all your special tea condiments, pickled eggs wild rice the best in Minnesota. It's a great day trip and the place is always packed

The place for meat! The bacon is hands down the best we've ever had. Nice variety of beef sticks, and they're so good. Beef and turkey jerky, also delicious. Nice selection of beef, pork and chicken. Great brats too!
