I can’t say enough good things about Pierz Veterinary. I travel a distance to vet here (an hour and a half) and for good reason. They are always responsive, kind and very thorough. I’m a worrier when it comes to my pets and it feels good having a veterinary practice that I feel as though I can trust completely with the care of my pets.

My garter snake collection was hit with some nasty respiratory infections, and I lost a few. One of my bigger girls, Chloe, presented with some concerning symptoms and I knew I had to have her seen quickly before it was too late. It's tough to find a good exotic vet, much less one on short notice. The other exotic vet we had seen was booked out pretty far, and I did not want to go to an emergency vet. I had heard great things about Pierz vet and knew they saw reptiles, so I thought I would try on the off chance they may be able to see her in the next few days. They were able to squeeze her in the same day, just a few hours after I called! I headed straight there, and all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The vet was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, and helped me figure out the source of the issue and how to (hopefully) prevent it going forward. Got some antibiotics and a dewormer. This was yesterday, and today she has already eaten and seems to be doing a bit better! This place is definitely worth the drive.

Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable staff. They saved my dogs life in a crisis utilizing improvisation when the medicine and treatment for the issue were not available in any surrounding states due to shortages at the time. Their pricing is fair, and they are good at handling all my dogs and cats no matter their individual temperment or personalities. They do their best to see clients even without an appointment when experiencing an emergency. I have had nothing but good experiences with them this far. I used to work in veterinary offices as an animal assistant and veterinary technician, and they are knowledgeable and organized, which is not seen in a veterinary practice as much as you would hope it to be.

We always have amazing visits! My dog had her c section on Saturday and received amazing care!! Dr Dawson and staff even stayed late to make sure she was in great condition before I took her home. I absolutely love bringing my pup here!!! I live in St Paul, Pierz is a 2 hour drive from place. But I will gladly drive that for my dog to get the absolute best care she can. Took my new cat here. Amazing people. Every staff member was great. They did a thorough and great job. Very affordable as well. $100 for a full examination, blood test pannel, and vaccinations. Would recommend.

Had an amazing experience here. My short hair broke her leg and they were able to get me in super fast for a great price. She had to have her femur pinned. Her leg is healing great, now walking on all 4’s!

We have always sent people here when asked But since they remodeled there prices went up an my husband was unable to pay his bill at a certain time for some reason an they sent it to collections in my name without notifying me first ! An now they refuse to help my very sick animals.

The vets and techs were amazing with my dog, did all the tests to figure out that she had a UTI after she was very weak to the point she could barely stand up, and throwing up! She went in barely able to walk and came out happy as could be and wagging her tail!

Our senior dog was having an urgent medical issue and everyone said they didn't have time, including our own vet...but Pierz Vet Clinic said bring him in! They treated us and him amazing and they now have new clients!! We will bring all of our pets there from now on! Amazing people!

I cannot recommend this place enough. My dogs hate going to the vet, but they love the staff here. The prices are good and they'll find a way to get you in with an emergency. The cost of a same day visit, x-rays, and pain pills came out to $190. Both our dogs have been fixed here and healed super fast with no issues. They're responsive, they'll call you if there's an opening on a busy day. The receptionists are friendly and knowledgeable. All around this place has been a good experience and we don't mind the 40 minute drive. We could go to a vet that's a lot closer but Pierz is worth the drive.

On Sunday the 2nd of April, my Jasmine became very sick. By morning she was only worse. Very lethargic and throwing up blood/clots. I knew she was slipping into her nenight forever. It was 730 in the morning and I'm trying to lookup a vet that would come to my house. MY Jas is a husky/malamutes and there was no way I could lift my girl into a vehicle. I called a couple places and they were closed. In hindsight I'm relieved nobody else answered. When I called Pierz Vet, I told them my girl maybe needed some help going to nenight forever. Cassie was so compassionate and caring from the very first second we spoke. She checked the schedule and they could come to my house around 11...they had surgeries and appt before that. I let her know that I didn't think my girl was going to even make it that long. The Doctors weren't in yet and she let me know, if they could fit it in before 11 she'd call me back after the doctor arrived. This was around 8 am. At 920 I called her back to cancel the appt. My girl had gone in what was the hardest but most peaceful way and I held her every second as she slipped more and more into her eternal rest. Cassie was so kind and caring over the phone. She shared her condolences and we got off the phone. I was having a really hard time trying to think of a forever resting place, being our yard was under a couple feet of snow. I called back and spoke to Cassie again about cremation. At this time my mother had helped me lay my sweet girl in my truck. When I brought Jas to Pierz Vet, Cassie again was so gentle with my emotional state I was in. She was very empathic with me and the decisions I was making. Cassie carried my girl in and let me have my final moments with her. In what was one of the most painful, shocking, and devastating moments of my life, Cassie had showed so much compassion and empathy that she filled me with peace. From my first call to my last moment with my sweet girl, Cassie was such an amazing genuine and authentic human. I don't know if Cassie will ever know how much her kindness will forever mean to me. I thank you you Cassie, with every fiber of my being. You truly are a blessing and a beautiful human being!

We loved our experience at Pierz Veterinary clinic! We were at our cabin when our dog starting experiencing some very concerning symptoms almost like a stroke. We called and the clinic staff said they could take us right away as an add on to their already very busy schedule. We saw Dr. LaBorde who was amazing. Our dog, who normally hates the vet and isn’t interested in new people, went right up to Dr. LaBorde and leaned into him. It was almost as if our dog knew he was in good hands. Overall such a great experience, and would recommend him and his staff hands down!!

I am so thankful for Pierz Veterinary Clinic. They fit my pet in when she wasn't feeling well. This isn't my local vet and I had to travel but it was worth the drive. Sadly (after two visits) my pet was so sick we had to make a tough decision and they were so caring with the situation. The first visit allowed us 2 more weeks with her. This place is remarkable!!! I would give it 10 Stars!!! I will be switching my vet! Without a doubt!! Considering the previous place I had taken my Min-Pin to, said they couldn't get her in until next week! WHAT!?! My dog was pretty sick and this totally could NOT wait till next week! I was distraught not knowing what to do with my baby! I talked to Stacy at the clinic and she said "Let me see if we can fit her in!" This is the kind of compassionate care you want when your pet is your family member and they fall ill unexpectedly! I may live in the St cloud area, but I will drive without hesitation to get the kind of quality care, that I received today! The vet was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate! The vet also personally took the time to fully explain to me what was going on and what the plan was to treat my bougie little baby girl ~ Mysti Mae! 🐶

Unfortunately my first encounter with this clinic came as we had to say goodbye to our beloved pet, but the experience was softened considerably by the compassion and expertise of everyone involved. We had a clinic that we regularly visited, but as our dog began to experience health problems, we were told everything was fine, and that it was normal. Several weeks later we sought a second opinion. First off, they were willing to squeeze us in despite not having any available appointments. This is a huge plus in my eyes. Then they seemed to know exactly what to test for, and made a proper diagnosis. They gave us plenty of time to get our time with her before sending her off. I will be returning here for all my veterinary needs because they truly care about their customers and patients.

We are new to the area and after doing some research we decided to take our dog here. The staff was wonderful, kind, and compassionate with a very difficult situation we were in with our dog. These guys are the real deal folks! Not only did they treat me and my horse with much respect, they did what was necessary with compassion and love to Annie the horse.
