Went to Lanesboro to do a tube float down the river. We were turned away from two popular spots because we had a dog and a 3 year old. A third spot was closed already (2pm on a Saturday). Saw a poster for Driftless Trading Post at Sylvan Brewing and gave them a call. They set us all up with tubes, including a cooler float for the dog and kids tubes with a closed bottom. We rented a dry box and ordered all the pizzas while we were there. They did a great job of handling our big group. They were fast, friendly, and made our river float dreams come true. We had a fantastic time on the 2 hour float. Would absolutely recommend and come back 1000 times.

This was worth the ride from Lanesboro and we can’t wait to come back next summer for tubing and kayaks. A cold beverage and great food as a reward for the trek. Be sure to get a Crush Raspberry Sour beer.

Just off the trail, this is an excellent lunch, dinner or dessert stop. The brisket Flatbread was really tasty. Also had the fish fry which was excellent. They have several beverage choices pop, beer, hard cider etc. For dessert I had a stuffed pie (?) that was really good.The staff was a couple of teenagers and they did an awesome job.I did not have, but this place also has Gelato.I would definitely recommend stopping here or planning a trail meal here. It's about 2 blocks from the Root River Trail.Also...it has indoor and outdoor seating.

This is by far one of the best flatbread pizzas I've ever had; smoked brisket with hot pepper bacon jam. Found it quite by accident while cycling the Root River Trail. Plus, staff was super friendly.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Bring your cooler and they have the ice, beer and snacks to pack for a beautiful Kayaking float. The river is calm, clear and scenic. The Trading Post kayaks are wider so you do not tip easily. You will enjoy a comfortable trip down river as you sit on top the craft rather than inside. A must do while visiting the Lanesboro bike trails!

Rented tubes and enjoyed the 2 hour trip with my family of 5. Kids 16, 10 & 7. We played along the way and spent 3 hours. Started at 4 pm and finished at 7. It was a bit cool once the sun went down, but we had a great time. Good value. Consider paying extra for the tubes with head rests!Note: At time of review, Geneva's was cash only which created a bit of a challenge.

Excellent. We enjoyed the ice cream. Terry was kind and the canoe trip was fantastic. The idea of taking us upstream so we could float to our car was a good idea.We recommend you try this also.

Great fun. Only thing concerned me is the chain used to go down steep hill to start the trip. This should be changed to a rope. I can see a finger getting stuck and falling and ripping g the skin Off. .this enterence is not ideal for anyone that as any type of mobility issues or for kids under the age of I would say 8

These guys really know how to make a creative menu and deliver quality. The meats come from their family farms and are smoked on-site. It doesn't get fresher than that!
