We are here on a Sunday evening. While it was fairly busy we were able to get a table without waiting. The service was professional yet friendly. The place was tastefully decorated with a north woods feel.I don't often order a burger but I decided to try the mushroom swiss burger. I was not disappointed. It was seasoned perfectly. The burger itself was excellent. Not greasy but still enough juice to make it great. The toasted bun added to right touch to make this burger a 9 out of 10 for meMy wife had fish and chips. Her fish was excellent. .I highly recommend A Pine as a good place to eat.

Great little roadside eatery, everything you hope for when you see a place like this while driving along. They also have some other items like jams and cookies and pie, besides the main menu being togo as well. We had a brisket melt and brisket burger, nothing fancy but it was quite good. We'd like to try the mashed potatoes and gravy (keep in mind they run out towards the end of the night) or breakfast sometime. The chocolate chip cookie and blueberry pie were both worth the little extra. It was also nice seeing a place with honeyberry jam so we grabbed one of those. Take a photo with Paul out front as well!

Perfect spot for a quick breakfast on the way back home from the cabin. Portions are generous, staff is welcoming, and food tastes great! Coffee never went more than 1/2 empty— we will for sure be be back.Parking: Easy to park a truck and trailer if you’re pulling a boat home from the lake!Kid-friendliness: Our waitress was so kind to my kids.

Me and my husband are in town celebrating our anniversary at a nearby cabin and decided to stop in for breakfast. I loved the hometown feel, the waitress we had was super nice(I apologize I didn’t get her name) my husband loved all the antique decorations. Food was amazing, that blueberry blackberry jam was delicious. When we come up here again we will be back!

A-Pine is great, hearty, family food fare that will stick to your ribs and hit that comfort food spot we all have. Service is great and the atmosphere is that quirky north woods thing that us locals don’t notice and the tourists come to see. “Paul Bunyan’s Favorite Restaurant” is in a neat A-Frame building with a no-fuss, cozy interior. Be sure to come before 11 (11:30 on weekends) for their phenomenal breakfast. Now serving mimosas and bloody marys/bloody beers!Parking: Plenty of parking spots in the lot, and lots of other areas to park if the lot is full. Please don’t park in neighbors’ drivewaysKid-friendliness: Cozy family restaurant with lots of big tables. Bring the whole familyWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, accessible entrance with low-velocity automatic button door

Sent my daughter there to pick food up like I have numerous times before and now they would not let her use my card for over $100 in food. Very unhappy customer that will never return!

This is a good family down home cooking in the Midwest. And it's one of the few restaurants in town. Prices are extremely reasonable. However, this is definitely not a place for eccentric or unique flavors. The desert and jams look awesome though.

Good food and prices, decent service. We stop here every year on our way back home from our family vacation. The prices here are adequate and not overpriced. Ordered the “old number four” which includes two eggs, hash browns, and toast. The food comes in good portions and is tasty. The service was decent as the restaurant was busy and they only had two servers. They definitely need more bathroom space as there is always a line for the bathroom when we come here. The bathrooms are one person for male and one for female. The bathrooms are always clean though.

Stopped on my way home from a long day and got the Paul Bunyan burger. It was fabulous. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Sorry forgot to take pic before I had a couple of bites. Can't wait to get back that way again.

Had breakfast there yesterday. This place is the real McCoy! Decorated in authentic up north fashion with some really large trophy fish on the wall. I had an everything omelette, & my wife had raspberry fritter french toast. Yum. The service was friendly & attentive with our hot coffee cups staying filled. We'll be back.

Nice place. My daughter and I were passing through town and like to try and support local business's whenever we go to or driving through a new town. Glad we stopped....the food was excellent and so was the staff and service. The fish and chips basket I got was amazing and my daughter really liked her burger and fries. Also fun seeing the Paul Bunyan statue and S'mores bench next to restaurant.

I took my wife out to dinner. We have had lunch here before .I ordered a sandwich and when they brought my food it was not a sandwich it had gravy poured all over it SOGGY BREAD.At that point I said I did not want that and I was made to pay for it.I just called in the morning and the manager knows that he is wrong but never the less if you order something here and do not like it be prepared to have to pay for it something I've never experienced anywhere before.Iguess they are so broke and have no class or Amerian Patriotism.God is watching I certainly would never give my money to a place with these standards.i asked an elderly man at the gas station should I have to pay for it if I didn't take bit 1 bite. OBVIOUSLY the answer is NO ....

Fun place to eat, very interesting decor! Not everyone has Paul Bunyan's drivers license. Food was really good. Chicken fried steak was excellent, burgers were delicious and good proportions. Service was VERY good. Nothing fancy really just a good family restaurant. Prices fair for the region.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly restaurant.
