I stopped at here on my solo vacation a few weeks ago and have nothing but EXCELLENT things to say. The bait and Tackle shop had everything I needed. The cashier was very welcoming and extremely helpful. He gave me a few suggestions on what kind of bait I should try and where and also suggested a local favorite at the liquor store that I absolutely loved. I wish I could remember his name. Thanks for the outstanding service.

Hello and good morning! Since I have moved to this small,kind,loving area I've came across a bait and liquor store called the great outdoors and when I walked in for the first time there was selections that no other store in the area had and made my day! The employees are nice! The owners nice! The liquor is nice and when I want to go fishing the fish bait is even nice! So if your ever In the area please stop by and check the great outdoors out! I will add that although when I moved here they didn't have any propane for my camper it didn't take them long at all to help getter done so bait, liquor,smokes,propane and awesome people! Thank you have a great safe year !

First, for the most important part of the review, if your in the area and need bait or some liquid refreshments for home or cabin, you will appreciate this small town option.The Great Outdoors is a small town Bait, Tackle, and Liquor store. They have a all the essentials, and some you may want to try. Any small business in a region like this, shouldn't be required to have a disclaimer for the beer & liquor selection leaning away from the choices of more eclectic connoisseurs. The suppliers have minimal order quantities, so the business decision to buy the product you know will sell quickly is vital in this region. Unsold Product is money sitting on a shelf, taking up space. That money saved allows for them to provide more hours to employees during the slower seasons. To keep the doors open for the locals, etc.They have consistently had what I was looking for each time I come in. It's clean, and a nice store. Plus I live nearby and usually get a good laugh from the message on their sign each time I pass it, so thanks for that little bit of extra to both your customers and neighbors.If anything the only thing I would love to see in the store, would be basic hunting supplies. Like scent killer spray, a couple options for deer call, rut estrous attractant, the screw in tree steps and hooks for hanging your gear, maybe a rattle bag, but Ammo (Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun shells, and Maybe even a small selection of Arrows and broad-heads. If there was a nearby place to buy Ammo nearby I would be buying it all year.I hunt, and compete in shooting sports, so I practice all year. When I need to drive to Rapids for a box of ammo, vs down the road, I loose an extra 40+min that would have provided better use training.But as is still great.

This is the best bait shop and liquor store ever owned by friendly and local people and they are very helpful and very insightful where you are likely to find the fishing you want and they are located across the road from the lake and the prices are affordable and easy on the wallet

They also deliver all around the lake, and I don’t think you could find this kind of customer service anywhere else. Always new and different things to try for liquor!

Worst fish pedicure place I've ever been to. I walked in and saw little fish in the tub and adult beverages all over the place. Nobody was around so I dipped my feet into the little fish tub to let the little fishies eat the dead skin off my feet and I helped myself to a bit of brandy. A young lady walked in as asked what the hell I was doing. I said "I'm pampering myself to a relaxing fish pedicure - could you grab me a towel please?" She seemed confused and perplexed and very rudely told me to leave. I must say I was very offended and will not be returning ever again.
