Pelican Pete is so fun! I’ve been in Fargo for a few months for work, there isn’t too much out here, so you have to create your own fun, and that’s exactly what the people of Pelican Falls have done with their little town. Only about an hour from the city and totally worth the drive. They even have a couple dozen smaller pelican statues around town all decorated to represent the business they’re in front of. Beautiful park and river around Pete. And some of the nicest people I’ve met since coming to this area. The town is very proud of their Pelican and I can see why. Take the kids, take the wife, fun all around!

Seriously, I love giant statues of things in small towns and Pete doesn't disappoint! He stands proudly in a nice park. I didn't get too close to him though as he does look to be upset about something.

Pelican Pete is an interesting statue. It’s not the easiest to find so be careful.
