I wish I could rate half a star because I’m really disappointed.Horribly ran Dollar General , I was once again let down as they had the doors locked 10 minutes early 3rd time this year !)The owner is friendly but employees are clueless that they work in a business and would rather have their ear buds in listening to music rather than actual work or help customers. My last visit to this location I felt rude for asking one of the employees to checkout while I waited patiently at the counter as she tried on sunglasses for 3-4 minute 10 feet away marking eye contact with me multiple times knowing I was waiting . Sorry I know times are tough finding good work but you guys have to at least try to run a business . Sorry but I will spend my dollars elsewhere

could not get thru the Isles with products in the way. could not look on shelves again with bins in the way. total mess. checking out cashier was on her cell phone while checking me and my friend out. didn't ask if we found everything. never smiled never greeted people when coming in the store. need to hire stockers to fill the shelves and put the bins and there carts back so costumers can get thru the Isles with there carts. I will never shop there again

I never had a problem with this store-in Paynesville Mn. Until today. My daughter was shopping, was accused of stealing, had the police there, to find out she had not taken a single thing! She wasn't even allowed to purchase her items, and was told to leave the store. She was accused of having a male accomplice, but was there alone. We will most definitely be calling the corporate office on Monday. I will not shop at dollar general again!

I wish I could rate this place 0 stars. Employees are rude and careless. They ignore everyone and have their earbuds in all the time. Today I went in and the person checking me out was on a phone call the whole time. One that wasn’t even important. This place lost my business. I will go to Eden valley instead

Great place to get a good deal on pop especially on Saturdays. They always have a sale on pop. In combination with their sale for the week and their Saturday $5 off $25 coupon, I always save anywhere from $13 - $18 each time.

Walked out again! 1 cashier 8 people in line. Other worker outside smoking and talking on his cell. Hate walking around stock carts! They are everywhere! Nothing ever on the shelves! Lack of management!

Never enough cashier's. There will be 6 people on line and only one cashier! You can visible see the other worker rearranging shelves or going out for a smoke? Really? How much money is that making you? I have left my purchase and walked out before!

Store is very very poorly stocked. Tons of empty shelves. Almost looks like it is closing. Trash on the floors. Dirty bathrooms. Employees standing around doing nothing. Dont shop here

I was surprised at the Dollar General store of all the things you can get even though it's a small store. So I do a lot more shopping there than I ever thought I would. Especially when you have to make your money go as far as you can. And everyone that works there is very nice and helpful

I don’t understand why this place is never stocked very well and why the staff are so rude and unprofessional. I’m being nice by given this place two stars. I thought this place was getting better for awhile but now it seems to be getting worse again.

Store has about everything you could possibly want. One problem is that it seems that they have stuffed a little to much in the store or haven't arranged it right. I mean this in a positive way but when you want to check out it is kind of cluttered. Every dollar general store is this way it seems. People are friendly that work there and I will continue to shop there.

I loved that the cashiers actually went to the back to look for more of the items I needed. I did have a horrible experience with the evening shift cashier. But from now on Ill be shopping before 2 ;)

Store is always dirty never organized lack leader skills. Always on there phones. It was clothes during the day its October 3,2020 @1:30 2:00 pm

Not very clean store. When I stopped by two employees were standing in front of the door even though there were a dozen people in the store. The last time I was in there, I seen some empty boxes and a hand cart that hands been sitting in the same place for three days.

Randi the one clerk is the most awesome and helpful clerk that when I go in there when having a bad day she always lightens my mood that I walk out of there in a better mood

I was waited on by the manager who was not very polite she did not say hi she just was talking to her other employees and basically rung up my stuff without even talking to me she has no customer service knowledge and I doubt very much if I will ever be going back to that Dollar General again
