My experience with Charles has been amazing. A couple months ago, he escorted my teenage daughter back to me after she had an issue with some other teenagers in the store to assure she was safe.Today I was in Walmart to purchase a large furniture item and the gentleman that offered to assist me I recognized as the same guy, Charles. He is very kind and polite, even helped me load it in my car even if it meant walking away from what he was in the middle of doing to help me!Thank you, Charles!

At 1 PM. on Wednesday, May 1st, I was told that the bakery would not slice any of the pre-made bread that was on the shelf because they had already cleaned the machine. Either she didn't want to do it or didn't know how. I find this pretty ridiculous

Omar is the best cashier in this store!!! Amazing person. Great personality. This guy definitely deserves a raise. Went in to grab a few things not in the greatest mood and the way he interacted with my kids just changed everything around. Great job Omar!!!! Keep up the good work.

The impulse purchasing opportunities are real at this location. I was able to deviate from my list with ease. Employees were not friendly, but not rude. They just existed. The store was clean and organized.

Stopped in yesterday to find a product. Nice employee scanned the item and confirmed 72 of the item in stock.Turned out the employee had to look in the back for the product. She was very kind, but didn't have enough time to thoroughly search for them. I thanked her, and decided to check back this morning when they weren't busy.Walking through electronics, I heard a manager harassing the electronics workers for "just standing around."I thought this might be a good time to ask the manager for help searching the back for the item. The manager refused to help, and I left empty handed.$350 sale denied.

What happened to letting the older, kindest, door greeters sit on a stool for their shift? The last few times I've been in, I noticed the sweetest gentleman who works nights as a door greeter standing looking so tired and uncomfortable. Let the poor man sit down if he wants to. He's always so friendly and kind. He just looks miserable now. It was not like this in the summer time when I was in and he had the option to sit. Please give him a stool. Breaks my heart.

A necessary evil. I absolutely LOATHE coming in here but unfortunately they have many products I can't find elsewhere in town. Apathy, laziness, Filth,and unprofessionalism are the words id use to describe this store. I buy EVERYTHING I can elsewhere and only come here when necessary. I worked in retail for 10 years and I scream internally as I observe the workers in this store. Anything goes, it's a free for all!

Ok, first of all, I called customer service and informed them that I witnessed a man attempting to break into cars in the Walmart parking lot. However, the customer service representative I spoke with seemed uninterested and lacked professionalism. They displayed no sense of urgency and were disrespectful towards customers who were simply trying to assist. Perhaps I should have contacted the police instead or allowed the cars to be stolen. It is disappointing to see such inadequate phone etiquette.

Buying anything from Walmart usually ships FedEx and always requires a signature on delivery. With that being said and the holidays coming up I'm never home, its a hassle just to get anything delivered. Walmart needs better delivery service then FedEx. The worst delivery service I think. Back to only Buying Amazon

I went to walmart this morning with my mom, used the self check out and this lady (Kathy) comes up to the cashier working at the self check out and starts whispering something to the cashier and both were staring at us and checking their machines everytime we scanned an item. There were alot of people at the self checkout and they were just looking at us and not the rest of the customers we felt discriminated cause of our race (Latino) there were no Latinos but us. We have always paid for all of our things we buy...what is this women's deal!! She only does this to hispanics/Latinos it was such an uncomfortable moment. Will not be going to this Walmart.

I honestly feel bad for most of the employees. Never any registers open. The discount items are a joke. I'd rather shop at Target where the employees look happier and they have registers open.

I can’t believe how quiet this Walmart was around 7pm. It was nice to not be ran over constantly by rude customers. The shelves were well stocked and I was able to get everything I came for and more. They also allow truck parking at the end of the lot.

Shopping experience is always great most of the employees are amazing like John joeseph and Yana. However as far as there training procedures of new employees is enough to make you sick the way they belittle the minors and over work them it’s not ok

I mean, it's WalMart. Walmart is walmart. It's either fully stocked or almost bare and the employees are mostly unfriendly and don't even make eye contact, but they're are a few here and there that actually are friendly and look like they have pride in their work and no proper work ethic and etiquette.

We been waiting 30mins or more for a LP exchange the cashier even said he will get someone on it right away but still took them 30 mins or more.It should not take this long for a LP exchange. Come on Walmart get it together y’all can do better then that!

Great to have Walmart in our community. Woke up today to find my coffee pot not working. No worries, Walmart has a replacement. Friendly staff helped me find product. Lots of options. Self checkout is smooth.Needed coffee filters and water. Walmart had all the stations operational in the self checkout area. Nice!

10pm. No checkers and self check out completely packed. Bad service.Walked in at 9:55pm over 50 people waiting in line for self checkout and again no lines open. Wal mart! Hire some night checkers! Otherwise i want a discount for having to self checkout. I don't get paid to do your job.I haven't been in owatonna walmart in 4 months.. nothing has changed, it's actually more of an inconvenience to shop at Walmart

Tried to find a worker who would check me out. i was paying with a check. it took over 20 minutes to complete this task. UNREAL Customer service even said they couldnt they were going on break.

Sometimes it is difficult to find things in this store but if you happen to get a friendly employee, take advantage of their store knowledge. I choose to shop at HyVee because it is not often you can find assistance or even a friendly face in Wal-Mart anymore. Wal-Mart is a customer service organization yet its employees are not always willing to offer assistance. On this trip I found some ice cream toppings that I hadn't seen before and I had a helpful employee assist me with finding "takis". I didn't know anything about them and two male employees offered their assistance. It was a good trip this go around.
