We stopped at Cabelas on our way home from the Mankato airport. My kids were hungry and we didn’t want the same old fast food. Cabela’s is always a fun place to go and it’s been quite a while since we were there.Well- the food court is closed. It’s still there, but blocked off. Makes me think they plan to bring it back- but nothing today. We were all pretty hungry so no much interest in shopping, but still did a quick lab before we left.It’s a clean store, friendly staff and a huge selection of sporting goods. If they don’t have it, you probably don’t really need it. Their items are always quality too.We were sad the lunch option is gone, it was a draw for sure.

We had an amazing experience. There were many selections to choose from as well as an amazing Fish area. The scenery that was set in the middle of the store was absolutely amazing as well. The store has all your needs for fishing, hunting, camping and more. It is a must stop location if you love the outdoors and it is also pet friendly. The check out was fast and efficient as well.

It's Cabela's, what more can you say?; They have everything in outdoors person could want or need, They have an amazing display of animals and an aquarium that probably cost as much as some people's house. It's always a fun place to check out.

Bart was my first contact at Owatonna Cabela's. He was very knowledgeable on the boat I was looking for, and even went out of his way to send me additional requested pictures. His promptness, expertise, and phenomenal care is what ultimately led to the purchase of my new Tracker boat. When I arrived onsite, I was met again with some of the most outstanding service I have ever received, with any type of purchase. Bart was available on the spot, and happened to be the first person I met upon arriving. Additionally, Brent and he team were also ready and standing by for my arrival. It was like having a whole first class team standing by to show me the new boat. I was given a thorough walkthrough of everything I needed to know. There was a genuine sense of customer care. Everyone was extremely honest about product and services. So much so that I am willing to drive the extra distance just to work with this team on any future boating purchase I may plan. A huge shoutout to Bart, Brent, and everyone that helped us out!*Update - A few days later I discovered something and needed some assistance. I reached out to the Manager Brent, who very promptly took care of my concern. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for their next boat purchase.

They have something for everyone. The customer service is great. I was helped to find the perfect snow boot for me. My daughter enjoyed testing out the boats and ice fishing tents. The animals are so cool as well as the aquarium.

This is a good place for an outdoorsman. I could spend most of a day in this store away from the ol' ball and chain :)Well worth the drive. I almost got into a car accident on the way with some of the crazies barreling down the highway but gotta take some chances as they say. A friend of mine who has been camping for many years recommended I go here to get a new tent. That friend was right about the tent situation.

Cabela's was a nice quick stop to get a few fishing supplies on our way home from the airport. We got there a few minutes after they opened, and it was not that busy. Did not have to wait in a line at the cash register.

Went to look for a trolling motor all they had displayed where 2000 and up and nobody working on a monday afternoon. Wont visit the overpriced and understaffed store again.

I am not an US citizen. Just for business in Owatonna. Cabela's for me was more a tourists spot. And yeah, the store is great and set up with love. Themes clear structured and easy to find, what you need.For me, as foreigner, definitely faszinating, as well as disturbing, how easy to buy deadly weapons.

I went to the Cabela's store in Owatonna Wed 12/13/23 to purchase a cross bow for myself. Had a model already researched and in my mind. I was dealing with Dewey Renchin from the Archery Dept and he stated that the bow I had in mind wasn't available, all sold out and wasn't sure when the store would be getting more. So he spent the time educating me on the next step up cross bow, the why's, etc. Ending up that this bow was a package deal that ended up being cheaper then the one I had wanted, was faster and had a better scope. He took the time with me in the archery range getting the bow sighted in at the 20 yards and let me shoot a couple times. He spent a great deal of time educating me on the do's and don'ts of the crossbow as I had never shot one before. I left the area and the store extremely pleased with my purchase but also extremely pleased with the great service that I had received from Dewey.

If you like the outdoors and you haven't been here yet, you are missing out! There is an amazing selection of products here for anything outdoors. I spend so much time here just looking at all the cool stuff. If you are traveling and you don't have Cabela's in your area, definitely stop and check it out!

Stayed overnight here in my RV. They have a huge RV parking on the south side of building. Has RV dump and potable water. Quiet there too. Would stay there again.

We had 2 of the best assistance I could ever ask for . One name was Cora Lee and the other was Charlene or something like that. I bought two Boss Buck deer feeders . Junk- - If you ever let the feeder get empty the squirrels will jump in the feeder and chew holes thru the feeding tubes and eat the feed that is still left. Then you throw the feeders away. Hundred's of dollars gone. So far no refund lasted 6 months
