Went there yesterday and purchased a jar of Alfredo sauce, it was over 12.00 I needed another jar and went to target the exact same product was 6.49. I like these guys but they are part of the inflation problem. Probably never go back.

My 1st time here! My boss always brings in the most amazing breakfast sausage that he buy from this place. So I went purchased some as well as alot more! What a great place! Even is you buy nothing there is soo much to see. Service was really good and the selection was amazing. One of the best butcher shops. Very impressive 👏

My husband has seen this meat market for the longest. I have seen it for a few times a passing as well. He was making slit pea soup and called everywhere for a ham bone. He called prior to going and was told they had it. I drove him there real quick before they closed at 6pm. As I waited in the car, I noticed in the window they were advertising soup and sandwiches, I thought since I work from home that would be a good idea to stop for lunch sometimes. I changed my mind about ever wanting to go in there after what my husband experienced. He told me he felt a very negative vibe about the employees. He said that from who he noticed working behind the counter they kept their eye on him. He was in self service at the cooler and the worker rushed over to ask him what he was looking for, he said the ham bone. The worker grabbed one and took it right to the register, ge didn't let my husband pick out which one he wanted which could have been less expensive. My husband didn't get a chance to look around where he may have been possibly interested in something else. My husband felt unwelcome and he could tell that establishment wasn't used to patronizing people of color on a normal bases. He felt rushed out of their store. Many better meat markets in town that don't use judgment. My husband is 69 years old, not no young thug and he felt very disrespected.

One of my top 3 favorite meat markets in the Twin Cities! Impressive variety, thoughtful displays, super clean and always impeccable service. Hands down, some of the best beef sticks you'll have anywhere in the state. This is also a great place to find high-quality pickled herring throughout the year (not just Thanksgiving and Christmas).

I normally love Osseo Meats. Unfortunately. The service today was disappointing. I wanted one walleye fillet and the employee brought me to the frozen section. I asked if they had any fresh and she told me to “go out on the lake & catch it.” Wow! She left me I speechless. I tell you customer service sure isn’t what it used. A sale lost.

It’s been our favorite since 1986, but I have to say the young guy who took care of me is obviously showing the changing of the guard. He was the rudest person after serving several people behind me he had the worst attitude, and I have to say I don’t think I’m coming here anymore after all those years it’s very disappointing. I consider myself an easy to please customer, as you can see with my over 315,000,000 views to date on Google I give mostly high scores, and I have never had such poor customer service with such crass and negative words in Osseo. It’s strange how much it can ruin an experience and get under your skin, but sadly it has. My purchases are always $75-$100 per visit. Some places use rudeness as a MO but the old guys that I saw through the years must have retired. If I were the owner, as I do own my own business, I simply would not tolerate it. We’re fortunate that there are so many options in a large metro area.

when it comes to meat markets, osseo meat market is one of the best. locally owned, great atmosphere, outstanding decor, friendly staff, competitive prices and the jerky...oh let me tell you the jerky is the best. love grabbing bones for my pup here as well! shop local and get your meat here, you won’t be disappointed!

Love the ambiance. They need to change their checkout procedures. Have to stand in line with everyone purchasing meat from cases. No separate cashiers if just buying pre-packaged items.

I've been going here about once a week and started noticing more and more that customers at the hot/loose meat/salad bar don't use the food safe gloves that are provided and that they have signs everywhere saying you MUST have gloves on to get food from here. Today was the worst instance of this. Today I'd mentioned to someone who pulled up to the selfserv food bar that the gloves are located behind him as they are easy for folks to overlook. The man replied "I work here. I'm not worried about it." Shocked I responded about how that actually makes it WORSE than if a random customer was doing it but got no response. The employee then proceeded to make a meat and cheese sandwich for himself not by using the tons provided but just by reaching his grubby mitts right into the meats and cheeses. I let the lady at the register know and she gave no response. This has been the response in the past as well when pointing out folks clearly violating food safety with their selfserv setup. This suggests that she knows this happens and that this is a system issue here. This "culturing" of their food is the culture in place at this business because she didn't immediately respond with shock and that this needs to get taken care of. Clearly she doesn't care about food safety here either. On the way out of the store I noticed another older fellow using the selfserv hot food bar with no gloves. He had a bandage around his lower hand/upper wrist with visible marks where he had a wound that had bled through and had crusted on the bandage. No employees reached out at all to keep this individual with a potentially dangerous bloodborn infection from getting food without gloves on. I will never return here and since this is the culture in place at this business neither should you.

Wish I could give more stars. Always top quality at reasonable prices. Sausages, brats, jerky, ribs all made and smoked on the premises. Their precooked, smoked sauced ribs are fabulous. Meat can be cut to order. For the little ones, they have pedal tractors to drive around. The display of collectibles cars will occupy you if you have to wait for service.

Their meat is hands down the best. But if you have dogs and aren't buying their smoked bones you are missing out. They are HUGE for the price, also they are the only ones that don't make our dogs sick!

This is a great meat market. Way above average selection for a place if its kind. Actually it was kind of impressive. I could spend a lot of money here just on the selection seasonings and extras. The meat sticks were delicious. The brats I got were better than average for a meat market. The fillets I got were out of this world. Top 2 steaks I made it home this year. Tender, flavorful and at 19.99 a lbs...what's not to like?

A family favorite dating back to my great-grandparents, Jim and Pearl Schreiber. Not the cheapest, but like their sign says, they know their product. Never had their lunch but always packed from 11-1 for the hot-deli. Ribs and steaks are a favorite of ours, along with homemade sauces, rubs, and quick freezer products.

I love the brats here, they are quite massive with size and flavor. They have a great selection of meats and i bet it would be difficult for them to not have something you need. They make their own dishes like lasagna and hot dish. They have pizzas you can take home and bake. Customer service is top notch and very friendly. For sure one of the best meat markets around. Also try the beef sticks and jerky!

We absolutely love the "Oseo Meat Market"There quality of meat is the best and tastiest we have ever had! The employees are so friendly and very helpfull. They aim to please you for sure. They also have a great selection of seasonings, condiments, meat rubs, barbecue sauces, a dellicatessin, fresh bakery items, smoked dog bones, something for everyone. When you walk in there doors you will be blown away by there amazing antique collection that is so beautifully displayed to share with the public. Its by far the coolest, most incredible meat market we have ever been too! Its a gem in a small town. 🥩🍔🥓🍗🍖🧀🥪🍪

We have shopped at Osseo Meat Market for many, many years and never been treated this rude! Asked a simple question that needed a yes or no answer and was rudely informed it's not made anymore which is UNTRUE. Told us we were using old recipes and implied we were old and out of touch. Lady, if you got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning maybe you should shake it off or take a deep breath before answering a simple question. So sorry we stopped in this a.m. and it will probably a long time before we stop in again.I have never written a review before but I had to respond to your attitude...Not customer friendly at all. I am so sorry but you came across as very, very snarky and what you said in your comment is the lie. Have a nice day.

As much as i love their products, the shopping experience is horrible. You have to follow a line through the store. Several signs telling you to "Wait your turn".... Very off putting to the customer. Suggestion: figure out a better way to serve your customers while not hindering their shopping experience...Covid is over! Oh, be a little more friendly as well... Everyone seems a bit grumpy there.

I shot my first deer this year and processed it with the help of some friends. I took my 10 pounds of scrap to Osseo Meat Market. The lady that helped that day was extremely short with me and it seemed bothered that I was even there. When we were all done she said that once it is processed I have 48 hours to pick it up. That’s great so I asked when I could expect it to be ready? She rudely yelled we’ll call you when it is ready. Fast forward I get the call that it is done. I am out town hunting and I call to inform them I will grab it the following Friday. I do forget on Friday my mistake. I called a friend who said he would grab it that Saturday. Well he forgot. I get there today which was 6 days after I said I would have someone pick it up. I was charged a $25. Storage fee, was talked to in a very rude manner over the phone. I get it I did not pick up my meat within 48 hours. I understand that freezer space is a premium. I get all that. The part I do not get is how I was treated and talked to by one particular woman there. I will never be back there. I called to speak to another person there and was told they have a business to run. I get that and she was very nice. At the end of the day I hope they realize that people should be treated with respect and dignity. I was made to feel like a criminal as they threatened to call the DNR and report me for wasting a deer. If this is how they run a business that’s on them. They lost a first time customer.

Best beef sticks and beef jerky! The white meat chicken nuggets are fabulous. Pumpkin cookies are the best I've ever had. We drove one hour to check out this meat market. The worker behind the counter was some of the best service we've gotten. So kind, and took the time to explain the cooking process, and complex flavors of several of their meats. The food is top notch, but that service (on a busy Saturday afternoon) was indescribable. We are definitely new "regulars" going forward - great staff Osseo Meat Market!*Fast Forward!!!! We still go, but now we've added their fresh baked bread and homemade cheese ravioli to our must haves!!! Best I've ever had!
