This campground has been a place of growth and discovery for our family for the last 13 summers . It has provided us with countless opportunities to explore the great outdoors, to reconnect with nature, and to appreciate the simple pleasures of life. From riding Atv’s in three of surrounding State Parks or swimming in the crystal-clear lake or pool, every moment spent here has been a reminder of the beauty and wonder that surrounds .Every Year the owners do something improve our experience and love this place .

R & D is a great place to unwind and reconnect with your loved ones. A family member we visited many times camps there and convinced us to come out. There is a kiddy pool and regular pool. The lodge space is great on a rainy day with tables games and video games. There is lake access for your boat or you can rent a pontoon at the office. Plenty of lake toys....kayaks, canoes etc! Also can't forget ice cream for those really hot days!

We have beén coming to R&D, for about 35 years to start off as a weekender with the JC group then we started going in the tent area as a family my oldest is 29 years and my grandkids youngest is 4 and they all enjoy the kid friendly activities and pool area. We have been through many different typ of campers but we love R&D and it has brought so many great memories.

Guess you could call me prejudice but my mom & dad bought the R & D Resort in 1952 the year I was born. I'm 66yr. My mom still lives in the home I grew up in. My brothers are now running the family business. My mom and dad took pride in family, cleanliness of the resort, they loved people in general and there hard work paid off. It's a great place to go and unwind from today's busy lifestyle. I know you would love it there. Give them a call and check it out, you won't be disappointed! 🤗

The cabins and beds are small for how much you pay. Service and our time there was fun until it came to the end. When we went to settle the bill, they informed us that they changed their prices AFTER we booked and told us we had to pay their new prices. I have never experienced that! As much as we enjoyed ourselves, we will not be back due to the price and quality of cabins.

Lucked out with getting an opening at this campground/ resort and loved it! Spacious campsites for RV. Staff/owners were accommodating. Our kids loved the playgrounds and pool! We're looking forward to going back!

A small family get together - about 30 of us, stayed here for a week and we had a blast! The lodge rooms & cabins are very accommodating, and the number of activities provided kept us all busy and having fun. We are looking forward to coming back next summer!

Clean modern campground. We stayed in the tent-camp area and the grass was cut and nice, great trees, and quiet with no bugs. The owners are very accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

We spent a fabulous family weekend at R&D Resort during Memorial Day holiday. Even though public spaces were not open (due to Coronovirus) we enjoyed many resort amenities.

Great place to stay. Very clean cabins, lodge rooms, seasonal camping, small store, ice cream and pizza available, game and recreation room. Heated swimming pool.

Great place to go camping with kids. Pool is huge, nice beach area, playgrounds, ice cream, indoor games, etc. Perfect for trying to get the kids to enjoy camping.
