We only got to stay here for one night but wished we’d had more time. The campground is situated on a peaceful lake and looked to have lots of recreational boating opportunities. The camp owners were beyond kind and accommodating. Perfect home base for visiting Voyagers NP - the visitor centers are all within an hour - without the prices and crazy of camping in the park.

Campground is most for seasonal users. We spent 2 nights at site 2 which had a weird approach and the level was very uneven More importantly: our surge protector detected power issues - mostly low voltage. If we rent a 30 Amp site I expect to be able to use up to 30 amps; this power would poop out at 10-20 amps. Good thing we didn’t need air conditioning. We were not the only site with power problems. Owner is aware but had no solutions.

What a fantastic place to relax and get away. 5 stars as long as you know what you’re getting into. It’s rustic, this is not a Marriott. Allow yourself no cell service and a camp shower. Enjoy the lake and the delicious ice cream at the shop. Will be returning

So glad I ended up here - every time I interacted with someone they were very friendly. They delivered a generous portion of wood right to my campsite. Right on a beautiful lake, very easy access for fishing. The bath house was clean and totally usable. The sites along the lake were a bit close together for tent camping, but it wasn't packed when I was there in the middle of the week so there was no one next to me.

We have been staying at Pine Acres every year since 1993. It's a great camp ground with easy access to the entire Voyager's area and activities. Multi-species fishing right on Pelican as well as many other area lakes. Thanks Don & Elaine for all the improvements you've made to Pine Acres. Looking forward to staying again in a couple of weeks.Highly recommended!

Great service! Nice clean campground. But needs some updating, electric and hookups are old and beat. And the campsites are pretty unlevel and very close together. One of our groups awning was ontop of the slide of the camper next door... would have been a one star, but the service and aroura of the campground is great. Real part of thier family feeling. Will definitely be going back, just remember to ask for a bigger lot if possible..Also random nice thing, they have a portable dump trailer they will come and dump your trailer for a very small fee, nice little option they have..

We had an awesome time with our grandchildren. Owners are great, they have a little store where the grandkids think it's fun to go get an ice cream cone. Definitely will be back. For my husband andI, it was going to the cabin as we remember what cabins were like. Awesome time.

Look no further. This is a fantastic Minnesota lake experience. The cabins are charming and private. You really feel one with nature out here. The fishing and wildlife are quite an experience. The website does not do this resort justice. It is much better !!!Thx Don and Elaine for making our stay such a memorable one.

We have stayed at Pine Acres several times over the last several years, using their campground. It's an older campground with older cabins. Yes, the cabins could all use a facelift and the playground isn't anything to write home about, but the friendliness and caring of the owners, and the warm welcome by the seasonal people, make me give this place 5 stars. We have 3 little dogs and the pet policy is so open and pet friendly, we are able to enjoy our little fur children when we come to the Orr area to vacation....and spend money. Someday we will be seasonal people at Pine Acres.

My family has been going here for 20+ years and every time is better than the last. I love the lake and the campground is exactly what you expect when you picture being up north. I look forward to next year the second I leave!

Not worth the price. We had 2 motorcycles and 4 people. 2 small tents. They charged us $40 for ONE night, one sight. The toilets were disgusting! I felt like they shoved people too close together. You could hear the people next to us in their camper, snoring. Not to mention the train that came through every hour. It sounded like it was coming right through the campground. And the only showers that we saw, was a building that said "Showers" and was about to fall down. They are also using pallets to fix their docks. We have been to many other campsites, that were cleaner and more spaced out for a fraction of the cost. Heck, most state parks only charge $12-$14 a night. NOT $40. With cleaner bathrooms.One star.Definitely not worth the price.

I camp in a van. I had stayed at the campsite for the previous 5 nights (had 6 nights reserved) and returned after a long day out to find someone in my site. The owner sold my campsite to someone else on Memorial day weekend, and then told me I could park "somewhere else." I would not stay here again. The place was in need of maintenance.

Elaine and Andy are great people. It's so nice here,and everyone is so helpful. I'll be back again. Great campground with plenty to do for adults and children. This is my second year here,and it's everything I could ask for.

Nice older Minnesota Lake camp with RV spots and camping cabins . It's all about being outdoors and fishing. 30AMP electric and water at the sites and a dump station available. We would go there again.

I have been coming up here for 20 years now and it keeps getting better every year. Pelican lake has many spots to catch anything from sunnies to bass and northern pike.
