I have worked at this Resort the last 2 summers. It is an awesome place to work. Danny and Abi are great people to work for and as friends. You will not find 2 people more dedicated to their business. Due to my husband's health we will not be back next year. I miss them deeply. If you are looking for a part time job you won't find a better place to work. They are No. 1.

We will not be back! If you have a dog there it must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. However they have a loose dog there who was all over our campsite and pooped right next to our picnic table that was never taken care of. The boat launch is in pour condition with large rocks everywhere and resort boats directly in the way. Upon leaving we were going to use their dumpsite but they have no water access. The owners let us know that there was a free dump site in Orr, when we got there it was $10 and closed! Not impressed!

We haven't stopped at Myrtle Lake for years but we're so glad we did this year! Everyone was so kind and accommodating (we had a large group of snowmobiles including 5 little kids). Food was hot, drinks were good & always full, pricing was fair and it's very easy to get to via road or snowmobile. We will absolutely be back.

If you're looking for a quality vacation in Northern Minnesota then look no further! The scenery is beautiful and the fishing is excellent. The accommodations are very comfortable and food & drink in the lodge are affordable, family friendly and delicious. Dan and his wonderful family will treat you like one of their own. We'll always return to this special place. Highly recommend!

Dan,Abby and all their staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed a week but felt like just a couple days. The cabin (#4) had a great view of the lake and was just perfect for us. It was nice to have the bar and grill for some cold drinks and very good food. Overall, wonderful resort! We already reserved the cabin for next year.

My family and I rented the big cabin, there were 11 of us (13 for a couple of nights). We were there for a week. The cabin was great for a big group. 4 comfortable, private queen bedrooms with 6 twins up in the loft. The two bathrooms with roomy showers worked out well. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. There were movies and games for those rainy mornings😊 The area is beautiful and the weather was great!

Outstanding stay at Myrtle Lake Resort! The new owners are outstanding they were very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in the Big cabin for four nights very comfortable! Clean and fun place to stay! Already have reservations for next year. We will be planning on staying here for many years to come! Danny & Abi outstanding hosts of an outstanding resort!!!

Outstanding service from the new owners. They were very kind and friendly. The location is beautiful, and the fishing is excellent! We will be returning for many years.And the dog Murphy is an excellent companion for the stay.

the staff, and dog are very friendly, but, the boat launch has issues: the angle you have to approach from because of the golf cart is s problem, and the giant rock in the launch area ripped a hole in our trolling motor propeller. there is a $10 launch fee, so we think the approach to the launch should be clear, as well as the large rocks in the launch.

1st time visitor. Lovely lake, peaceful & fished every day. A work in progress by new owners & plan to go back next year. Stayed an addl 2 days over original reservation. Can't wait to see updates in 1920!
