This place is the best! We were initially greeted by the new additions Genna and her husband Steve and felt right at home. We were then introduced to one of the owners Ross, who was so accommodating, and a pleasure to get to know. The property is beautiful and immaculately kept. There are so many things to do right on the property. They have plenty of yard games, a great beach and even a game room for those rainy days. From the bathrooms, to the shower house and even the fish shack, everything was so clean and well maintained. We can't wait to come back here!

Total rustic charm! Ross and the crew were absolutely fantastic. As friendly as one would hope for.Look, if you're expecting a 5-star hotel, don't come here...and don't try to see nature at its best. If you like or want a nice, cozy, rustic vacation, please stop here...so you can see nature at its best, and enjoy a sauna. Yes, a sauna!Lake front cabins have personal docks, well you may have to share with a neighbor if they brought or rented a boat, but you only need to share with one neighbor. They have a grill and fire pit at each cabin. Firewood is for sale, and the prices are pretty reasonable. They have a small gift shop in the main office along with a small needs store...which even stocks eggs! Did you forget your rod and reel? They have that too.Avid fishers, they have a fish house especially for you to clean all your catches...well, it's for everyone and everyone is expected to use it for their catches. The boat rentals are great, whether you want to just tool around on a pontoon or hit some hard-core fishing in a v-hull fishing boat.If you have an EV, they have a charging station for you. Need a laundry room, that have that too...coin operated though. Bring your own boat, they have trailer parking. Bring your own camper, they have hookups for them too. Want to rough it more.. just get the regular campsites or maybe even a yurt! Yes, they have yurts too.A very kid friendly environment. Lots of stuff for kids to do, even if they don't want to fish...but why wouldn't they. They have pet friendly rooms, so bring them along too. What better way to wake up or go to sleep than with some of the best views...well, do both of them with the sounds from the local loons. It was just an amazing time.

First timer, it was pretty relaxing staying here. we went with 8 guys and we were able to make it work in a 3 room cabin. Place is nice and quiet. The staff is very welcoming and informative and always ready to answer our questions. We had rented a pontoon aswell and the experience was amazing. Place is kid friendly. My only gripe is that there are alot of spiders outside and on the pontoon but because its the woods and outdoors it cant be helped. I wanna bring my kids next time I think they would have a very good time. Place is very family friendly. will likely go again.

We stayed at Cabin O' Pines for a week with two other families, each of us in seperate cabins, and had a blast. The cabins were really clean upon check-in. Even the spider webs on the outsides had been removed! Amenities inside the cabin were as expected- cups, plates, bowls, and silverware along with a few pots and pans, spatulas, etc. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the cabins generally had a very cozy feel. What really made the week, though, was the plethora of activities. The kids were happy to find two playgrounds and a zipline to rotate between. The adults were happy to have one of the playgrounds within sight and hearing of the cabins so younger kids could have supervision while at one of the playgrounds, while the older kids could have more freedom at the second playground. There is a playhouse and tons of yard games to play (bocce, croquet, carpet ball, basketball, ladder golf, cornhole, horseshoes, and more). There are bathrooms (again, clean and well maintained) near both playgrounds. The beach was really nice- sandy and cleaned every morning. The water trampoline with attached launchpad was a hit with kids and adults alike, and the water craft (paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards) were easily accessible and fun to try. The main dock is huge with different areas to sit at while watching the boats come and go, or catching up on a good book. If you prefer a quieter launch, there are many small docks available for certain cabins. There are bikes available to use around the campground. A sauna available for adults in the evenings (by appointment so you're not getting cozy with the rest of the resort). The office has movies, games, and puzzles for a rainy day. While we didn't use the fish house, it looked nice and didn't smell. No wafting fish aromas here, which we've experienced at other resorts. The stars at night are magnificent. Being north has its advantages and this is a big one. Do yourself a favor and head out on the dock after nightfall to watch for falling stars, satellites, the Northern Lights, etc. Absolutely stunning.Cabin O' Pines is a great place to take the family. We definitely recommend it!

This is a awesome place to come!!! We will be back next year. Great place to unplug and relax. The fishing was great. We have 4 kids ages 19, 16, 10 and 9 and they all had a blast. They especially love that you can fish from the dock and catch lots of pan fish. Our older children love that you can use paddle boats, kayaks, and the paddle boards for free. The owners were great and helped with anything we needed. Bathrooms were the cleanest I have seen in any resort.

My family and I had an awesome experience. This place provides everything for your family to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing vacation time. In addition to the cabin, they have, bbq grill, fire pit, bikes, kids playground, clean beach, boats, fishing equipment and great customer service. Ross is an awesome guy. He treated me like a close friend and spent the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. Employees work hard and do their best for guests to have a wonderful time. It was our first time there and I would visit again. Highly recommend!

We just returned from the resort. This resort is an excellent place to spend some time to strengthen family bonds, enjoy great fishing and just slow down a little. The facilities are comfortable, clean and the resort is well run. Service and support are excellent. Fishing tips from resort personnel are unmatched and produced a great catch for dinners. Our family was so impressed with Cabin O Pines that we reserved 2 cabins and one camp site for the same time next year.

We have been coming to this resort for over 10 years and each time it has been wonderful. Great fishing, beach and docks are awesome! The grounds and shower house are well kept and clean. We have camped on the lake site 2 and 3 and love being close to the water. Sunsets are beautiful and our grandkids love to be swimming, fishing and kayaking!

Cabins are clean and comfortable. Campsites are easily accessible. The staff is welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of amenities and activities at the resort and things to do in the area if you decide not to fish. Why would anyone not want to fish? The fishing is really good. In other words, my son and I fish all day everyday while my wife and daughter enjoy some fishing, some relaxing and some of the area activities. Highly recommended. My only complaint is the 358 days until we return seem more like a thousand and the week we are there goes too fast.

My family spent a week and had a blast! The cabins were nice and up to date and the dock is the best on the lake. The main thing that stood out to me is the attention to detail. I could tell they focus on the small things and it's frequently the small things that make all the difference in the world. I highly recommend this resort.

I’ve been here a few times in my early childhood, had the most fun on the beach, fishing was always the best I’ve ever fished, owners and employees have always been warm and welcoming. But when I came back for the first time in years, I’m beyond glad to say that nothing has changed. Boats are all fantastic prices and in great quality, they have just about anything you need for as long as your there. They’ll provide any knowledge you need for boating experience. In my opinion Northern Minnesota camping couldn’t possibly get any better. I plan to come here as often as I can every year!

The large dock is great place to fish, plenty of lounge chairs to lay by the lake & read a book. The owners & other staff are extremely friendly & helpful. I'd highly recommend bringing your friends & family here. Special thanks to Ross!!!

I grew up on this resort with my family. The owners are amazing and all of the summer long seasonal campers are knowledgeable and friendly. There are tons of fun things to do in the resort and many more opportunities for adventure in the small local towns of the area. Pelican lake offers great year round fishing for a variety of sportfish and cabin o pines is a great place to stay for your time in Orr!

Cabin O' Pines has to be the best resort and campground out there! It has it all: great fishing, boating, comfort, and most importantly that north woods feeling of seclusion. It is a really peaceful place and the owners take such good care of the property. The cabins are cozy and clean while the lake side campgrounds have such a fine view of the lake. the service is just truly amazing. I wish I could spend an entire summer up there! If you are looking for a place to fish, camp, boat, or even just settle down and enjoy a relaxing week, than this is most definitely the place for you and your family!

Amazing fishing. Beautiful cabins. Super clean. Amazing customer service. The family that runs it is super helpful, knowledgeable, and could easily accomidate our party. They have campsites, trailer hookups, a beautiful dock, and the best cabin experience that i have ever had. This is a family vacation to unplug, unwind and be one with nature. I cannot recommend it any higher. We will be coming back.

My family had a wonderful time last week at Cabin O Pines. As usual the cabin and camp was fantastic! The fishing was great highlighted by my 7 year old catching a 4.5 lb Largemouth and a 4 lb Smallmouth within about 15 minutes. It was a big day for him! Traveling up from North Carolina is a long way to travel but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it and can not wait for next year! Thank you for everything!

C.O.P has been our annual family vacation spot for many years now. We love it. It is a great place with plenty to do. The Coyer family makes everyone feel like friends and are so welcoming. The bathrooms/showers are always nice and clean. Cannot say enough about the place. Looking forward to many more years of camping at C.O.P.

Stayed here for a week this past month, and it is a beautiful place. Great place to sight-see and relax. The cabins are very clean, cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. Slept like a rock the whole week! The Coyer's are very sweet and accommodating also. Would highly recommend!

We all really had a great time at C.O.P. during our vacation in July 2014. We not only look forward to fishing for the week, we also look forward to seeing Ross and the Coyer family. They always provide us with exceptional customer service and truly feel we have made new friends up north. Our cabin is always ready on time and very clean including the entire resort. We look forward to our next visit to C.O.P. and many more in the upcoming years to come.

Just spent the weekend there last week. This is a true northern mn resort. Rustic cabins, wooded property, camp sites, fish house, docks, sauna, and all the peace and quiet you want. Pricing is very fair and the family owned resort offers excellent service with a warm genuine smile. Great for families.
