8:15 not open yet, staff leaning on counter. No one addressing the people standing at the door. The store may be low staffed, but the least they could do is let people waiting know what's going on. I do not use the word lightly, but it seems the person checking the lock on the door is a coward.Update: they did open shortly after 8:15, the person that walked up to the door and didn't inform anyone of the situation was a technician installing a new register system.

By far the worst dollar general in the country. You can't even jokingly make up how lazy the staff is. Store is always dirty. The soap aisle someone literally just tossed items up in random. Blew my mind how lazy that was - we are all used to to the dirty store, that carts full of merchandise sitting for days on end blocking the rows. Having to wait to get checked out while staff is on a smoke break (that happened again today) but the cleaning aisle - shocking! I honestly think you would have to work harder to make it that disorganized. Also - watch your products they have a nice habit of setting items next to the scanner and not putting them in bags right away. Today we are missing our canola oil and I'm mostly mad at myself because I watched her set it next to the bag and forgot to make sure it was put in before we left. It wasn't. I'm done this store is a joke. Might as well just close it down.

When this store opened, I was happy with not having a grocery store here anymore as I’m sure many in this town were. It has really went downhill with it not even being 5 years old. There is never anything on the shelves. It’s a very dirty store and product is just collecting dust sitting on carts waiting to be stocked. You never know anymore if they’re going to be open or closed. That makes it incredibly hard sometimes without any other stores nearby. It’s a hardship on the elderly community that may not have transportation or people with medical issues that prevent them from driving further away. It’s ridiculous. Our town deserves better.Updated review.They just remodeled and the update is nice as far as perishable food in the cooler and freezer. Corporate decided not to approve for a produce section though. I’m sure everyone is disappointed, I know my family is. If corporate decides to read these reviews, you people suck. We have no grocery stores, no farmers market so why wouldn’t you put in a produce section. So I and countless others will still have to travel for basic necessities. Thanks a lot.

They definitely need more help in all angles like customer service, stocking, organizing, cleaning, and items on some shelves are dusty and some items on shelves don’t have a price tag. Some staff can be easily irritated and not as friendly. (Sad)They do try their best!Definitely short staff problems

Store is very dirty nothing on the shelves can barely get through the aisles due to the rotainers being in aisles and end of rows. Was in there two days ago to get my son something for his birthday but was only able to get him candy cuz there was nothing for a boy on the shelves. Store went downhill fast after I was fired along with Ronnie burgraff.

I may not live in this town anymore but I'm tired of visiting my family/friends that dont have access to decent groceries/healthy options like produce but the next town over has a grocery store PLUS having produce sold in their dollar general, how does this make sense? This isnt this particular stores fault but I'd like to see corporations ask the townspeople what they want in their town because this is rediculous. Onamia has been out of a grocery store for YEARS & with gas prices being at an all time high something close to home is what a lot of these people need.

Place was a mess today at (February 14th), floors extremely wet and hazardous. Boxes and carts scattered throughout the store. Rude new associates. Have been shopping here since opening, and sad to see it go down hill after they sent the store manager off (chuck), the only enjoyable part of ever going there was seeing chuck everyday. Will be driving the extra distance to his old store to see him, and take my money somewhere else. Very disappointed.

Shelves empty. Not having a grocery store in this town sucks. Having them here is like being without one too. Still have to make a trip to a grocery store because everyday items(breadq, creamers, ice cream is either in back or don't have restock. Vendors should be packing those freezers and coolers. Supply and demand isn't in their numbers. Ronnie does the best she can and works hard. No appreciation shown to her for what she does. Grand Market is better priced. Dollar General should have better prices for what they pay their employees to do 3 different job positions. It's humanly impossible for 2 people only on a shift to complete the things they expect and that being said lots of other things are neglected. Check those dates. Backroom is usually over full but everything lacks when there is no focus on the whole plcture. Customers are guest, but I've seen the worst customer service from the so called manager their. It's embarrassing.

Have to say how sorry I am to all my onamia Town's people. There have been so many negative complaints since they terminated me with false statements. I loved my job and all my customers and my customers also agree with what happened to me was also wrong. New management is very ruse to the handicapped customers telling them their too busy to help them. Myself, I was a always there no matter the circumstances. Customers should always be first! Shelves are always empty now and the waiting to get checked out is incredibly long. All I can say is sorry to U all. This town deserves so much more!

I go there nearly everyday for one thing or the other. Clerks have ALWAYS BEEN COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. VISIT. ONE THING I FEEL NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY CORPORATE I IS THE LOSS OF MANAGERS . THE ONLY THING I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HEARD FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS IS THE FACT THAT THE MANAGERS ARE EXPECTED TO MAYBE DO TOO. MUCH . DOES THEIR PAY EXPLAIN BASICALLY THE NUMBER OF HOURS EXPECTED, FOR THE BASIC PAY, DO THEY GET OVERTIME AFTER X HOURS, EVALUATION OF MANAGER/// EMPLOYEES . GOOD MANAGERS CAN BE HARD TO FIND SO WHEN YOU HAVE ONE , DO WHAT EVER IS REASONABLE TO '' KEEP THAT MANAGER !! I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS , TAUGHT H. S. SCIENCE FOR 30 YEARS AND FOUND OUT A PAT ON THE BACK ,.THANK YOUS GO ALONG WAY. Ben

Love this place! I live in a small area and it is a great go to when I'm need of anything from cat food, laundry soap, to a quick meal for dinner! The staff has always been very friendly 😊
