Terrible customer service. My husband just came back from a stop here. He was just dropping in to buy a small bag of cat food. He walked in to the 2 cashiers talking to a young couple. Neither of them acknowledged him, which he thought was a little rude, but he went and found what he needed then went to pay. He said he stood at the register waiting to pay for several minutes while both employees catered to this other couple. He said by the time they finally acknowledged him he was so cranky about having to wait so long that when the woman asked him if he wanted to make a rewards account he snapped at her "no, i just want to get out of here." I am only writing this review because i have had a minimum of 3 other similar experiences at this location, although my experiences have included the element of either having my arms full of lots of little items or holding big heavy bags of dog food while i wait and feeling like my arms are gonna fall off by the time i get out of there. It's really bizarre to me that the employee wouldnt at least offer a place for me to set my stuff down if theyre gonna chat with someone for 5 minutes before they ring me out. And then if I go there with questions they're super rude and short with me. I do want to say I have been to other chuck and don's locations where the employees have great customer service skills. Just the employee's at this location maybe need to be retrained. This is why we try to avoid going here.

Amazing experience. Chelsea was very helpful from the moment I walked in the door. I am not familiar with the placement of the items, seeing that I do not have pets myself so, the help was very much appreciated.

All of the staff is so helpful and pleasant. Patient when answering questions even if you feel it's a dumb question. We are having trouble keeping our kitten quiet after being spayed and Ashley has been an absolute Godsend. She has helped with creative solutions and suggestions. Highly recommend this store.

Chuck and dons in Northfield is my favorite place to go for pet supplies. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. Megan helped me find everything I needed for my elderly cats, and loaded the food and kitty litter in my car for me! Really impressed with the customer service here.

Do not go here. I was in the Northfield location 3/25 after 5pm and found a product I was looking for for my dog. The orange sticker on the shelf (that was for my exact product) listed the price as $11.92. The blonde cashier with the nose ring had a horrible attitude. She refused to honor the price that was listed on the shelf and charged me over $15.00 for the product. She had plenty of excuses that someone was miss labeling things all over the store, it wasn't her, it shouldn't be her problem and she wasn't going to call any manager.... I will not be shopping at this or any other locations after this interaction. This place is a joke.

I was in a cat food crisis when the food didn’t arrive due to back order. On top of being out of cat food, I was in the hospital after having my baby, and the store manager, Ashley, went above and BEYOND to find me a bag of food at another store and get it to me! I always get the best costumer service at Northfield Chuck and Don’s! Neil and I thank you!

Amazing customer service and product selection! I easily found what I needed, and it was reasonably priced. The quality of the product I purchased (cuttlefish bone - meant for birds but used for my nephew's baby snails) seemed to be much higher than that of similar products I purchased at other pet stores in the past. Not long after shopping there, I received a handwritten thank you card signed by the staff member who helped me, and a nice coupon was enclosed. I thought that was a really nice (and rare) gesture. I was really impressed by every aspect about this shopping experience!

This is like heaven for our dog. They have great variety and great products. I like that you can bring your dog into the store and they always offer to help you carry out your food (although I don't need the help), which is nice of them. The rewards program is wonderful because you don't have to sign up for anything and they just keep track of how many bags you purchased and you get a free bag of dog food after purchasing so many of the same kind. I like the Bark and Mews flyer they send out also. It has some nice coupons in it and there are always cute dog and cat pictures.

Easy to deal with staff who were very helpfull. Had everything I needed for my cats. It is a little more expensive than other places but is open later than those places which help for late night emergency runs.

Excellent customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection of high quality pet food and supplies. Chuck and Don's also offers a loyalty program (Friends of Chuck and Don's program) which offers deals, rewards, and buyer protection for pet food in case your four legged friend is being a picky eater when trying a different type of food. They also carry RuffWear dog wear (collars, harnesses, leashes, etc.) which is a brand I wasn't familiar with but Chuck & Don's introduce me too, which is a benefit of this store by stocking high quality brands you don't find in other stores. Pricing is average on most everything compared to other retailers (excluding online retailers) and excellent cost savings from their coupon book as a loyalty member. All-in-all this is my go to store for dog supplies, but feline owners will find a great selection too! Also they have a scale for weighing your animal, which is convenient. Pets are welcomed in the store but must be on a leash.

Very friendly staff very knowledgeable as well but the prices were far too expensive for my budget. But the advice they gave me being a new cat ownerafter several several years of not having an animal or catthey help me pick out a food in a litter and gave me some advice so for that I'm very thankful. I will return for their sales and for their knowledge and maybe a special treat for my kitty
