I am giving four stars because the beer was good. Service could have been better. It seemed like a college hangout, which is fine if you are in college but can be annoying if not. Good indoor seating. They have a stage for live music. Outdoor patio was nice and spacious. Dog friendly is always a plus! A nice place to stop for a good beer!

Love this place. A great local gathering, it seems to cater to a lot of different crowds, but as an experienced professional, I think this is a great place for happy hour or reconnecting with friends. Not too loud, you can actually have a conversation. The beer is really good and there is a nice variety. I love the atmosphere both indoor and outside on a beautiful day.

Better than average beer. Mr. Stout was about the best stout I've had and it's a remarkable 11.0% ABV. Friendly service. Ambiance includes a generous portion of seating inside of the brewery. Tours are available. Plenty of free parking exists. An ATM is on site. It would be nice if there were better bar snacks available.

Great Brewery, everything I tried was excellent. The Haymaker IPA, Tropic LUV, Dead or Alive, Most Wanted 2020. Dog friendly patio in the front. Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance, and restroom.

Cool brewery with their own beers on tap. The space is a bit larger than just the bar and brewery equipment, but they make the bar area feel just right. They've got games, bean bags, and giant jenga for you to play so you can bring your kids. There's no food here. It's a great place to grab a drink with a friend.

We love to visit breweries on our travels and stopped here the other evening. We hit the jackpot! Great beer and some amazing musicians! A very talented trio called "Absolutely Maybe" - guitar, violin and a young singer (Megan) with a beautiful voice. I wish we were around long enough to attend more of their events!

Hero Hazy IPA is a must try! I’m personally a whiskey guy myself, but Mankato Brewery has an astonishing amount of different beer to try! The atmosphere is second to none!

Beer was mediocre at best. We were really looking forward to going here but then it was a let down. The parking lot is horrible and they need to find a better property management company to ensure it gets salted and is safe for patrons. We were visiting my son at college and when he got out of the truck he completely fell on his back when his feet when out from under him on the skating rink of a parking lot. We had to damn near crawl to the front door it was so slippery and unsafe. The fruited sours were pretty flavorless. There was a blueberry flavored beer that was decent. The hvac system was blowing cold air aggressively throughout the taproom. I had to give my wife my coat and then I was freezing cold because of it. We had to leave after that as it was not enjoyable to sit there and drink beer in our jackets and stocking hats while inside. We will give it another try some other time and hope that we just caught the place on an off day.

We cannot say enough good about our experience at the Mankato Brewery for our wedding January 25, 2020! We planned it in under 4 weeks and even with our short notice the MB exceeded our expectations in every way. They accommodated our need for a stage, desire for games for our guests, wanting open bar for a portion of the night and beer tickets for the second half, the two different groups of people that were attending and the two different meals we were having and the several different people coming for set-up before the event. Liza, the bar manager, put me at complete ease from the very first time I met her. She was available for any questions that came to mind during the preparation and met with us more than once. She. Is. Amazing!!! Liza took care of everything and made me, as the bride, feel like that was one area I didn’t need to worry about. My guests LOVED her! I heard several people say what a great time they had, what great beer they had and what a great atmosphere the brewery had. We will continue to recommend the brewery to everyone we know!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Attended a free tour which was very informative. Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable of the subject matter. The staff were very knowledgeable of the beers and were extremely helpful and patient in finding one that fit. An overall great experience, they make you feel comfortable.

They have an awesome selection of beer with something for everyone. The staff is super friendly, the rewards program has some great rewards, and their merchandise is awesome. The artwork on their cans is also very cool and the stories behind them are even cooler! definitely a great place to check out and if you go im sure you will want to go back.

Personal favorite brewery - good pricing, and lots of seating. I frequently bring my dog to sit with us on the outdoor patio, it is a nice place to enjoy a beer. Not a huge beer person, but their Rhuby Sour is my favorite, and the staff is always very kind and conversational. Their merchandise, the sweatshirts specifically, are the most comfortable sweatshirts I own. I have 3 of them!

Pretty good, if they wanted to improve I would invest in cheap snacks like popcorn so folks can munch while having a drink. otherwise beer was good, servers were great, and atmosphere is just the right touch of small industry and Midwest entertainment.

Absolutely love the place. Great music and drinks. We enjoy that we can bring food, or order in while enjoying local drinks. They are always changing the menu and so there is always something new to try.Tuesday nights are the night to go, they have live music!

I really like this place and all the owners. They have great beer and a really cool tap room where you can get growlers filled to take home. Also a nice seating area to just hang out with friends if you want, or order in food. The brewery is also great supporters of local groups. My club had a fundraising event there and everyone was very accommodating and helpful.

Wow. I'm in the beer industry (east coast) and was absolutely blown away by this place. Great mix of "modern beers" and superbly executed old world styles served up in a great (clean) facility. Top notch service at the bar, too! Don't sleep on this place.

Cool little place tucked back in an industrial area. The beer was good and we had several samples. The staff was very knowledgeable about their beers, which I always expect in a place like this, but doesn't always happen. If it gets busy I can see a need for more restrooms than the two single unisex bathrooms they have. They do have more porta potties outside, but it was below zero.

One of my favorite breweries from the original batch of craft breweries that came into being between 2009 and 2011. First time seeing the new tap room. Very clean, very cool staff who are willing to talk if that's what you want, and willing to leave you alone if that's your thing. Great snack selection. They have events that include food trucks and live music. Beer is excellent with a little something for everyone. And don't forget your Northern Ale Guide if you go for a BOGO pint! A must stop if you are ever in the area.
