I went here to get live bugs for my Tegu. Their website says that they have super worms but after I got there it was apparent that they wouldn't have them. That being said, the employee referred me to a nearby bait shop that might have some worms or live insects which was nice of them. They also greeted me warmly and directed me to the reptile section so I could have a look. :)Their items are separated by animal type which makes it easy to figure out if they have what you need or not. They have a lot of high quality cat and dog foods, things for smaller furry animals like rabbits and ferrets, and reptile supplies like dishes and décor.

What a gem of a store! So many unique, carefully selected items. The prices are good too, and it feels great to support a small business. A fun experience for our little furry gal. I could have easily spent an hour, and will be back!

Amazing HIGH QUALITY products you can trust for your pets. I was always someone to shop at the big box pet stores and online, I soon found out that the pet stores that are part of big National chains don't really think to check for safety on some of their products and nutrition on the food. They continue to carry dangerous products where the animal House in Nisswa thoroughly screens everything they purchase and make sure to only carry safe and reputable products. I also had issues with ordering dog food online, I thought I would save a few bucks and use an online coupon only too frequently receive damaged bags with food everywhere, even one bag that had mold and upon researching could have been deadly to my pups. I will no longer be one of those people and only go to the animal House for all my food and treats. They also carry a very nice selection of Alaskan antlers for those heavy chewers. Shop local and support a great business that truly cares about their clients and the integrity of the products they carry.

This place is awesome! It looks small bit don't let that fool you. They have this place packet full. Also an amazing selection of organic and good healthy food and treats for cats and dogs. The owner I believe, helped me find a great cat litter.

Wonderful place that carries all of the quality foods and none of the junk! They also have anything else you could need - toys, chews, treats, beds, litter, leashes, collars, you name it. I even got orange vests here for my labs to wear outside (we live in the woods) during deer season to keep them safe. They have programs for many of the foods, for example I buy NutriSource for both my dogs and cats and you get a free bag after every 12 bags. Linda keeps the store looking excellent and is very knowledgeable. My favorite part of going in is getting to play with her little dog Magic! I used to buy food at Menards but it's the same price at Animal House, plus you get in the free bag program, AND you are supporting a small area business. Win-win!
