The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center has been an important part of my artistic career. It's enabled me to exhibit artworks including two solo shows over the years. I've been hired through the center for judging art exhibits and held a workshop for high school students once. I've also volunteered my services at the center several times.

This is a great art gallery, event venue, musical concert spot, dance studio, puppet shop, artist retreat, and classes and workshops host! The teeny town of New York Mills and the rural county Otter Tail should both be super grateful they have such a treasure right in their back yard! I noticed they’re hiring. If you’re into art, but am a capable go-getter who can keep oneself on task, you should probably apply.

Most folks don't expect to find an arts and cultural center in the heart of "fly over" country. This is an amazing place to find arts, programming, music, philosophy, and artist residency opportunities. The Cultural Center sponsors the Annual Great American Think-Off. We just attended the 30th live debate on Saturday night. This event reminds us civil discourse it alive and well, and important topics can be thoroughly examined amongst fellow thinkers. I would highly encourage you to make time to participate in this annual event!A huge thank you to the staff and board members of the NYMRCC. Keep up the amazing work you do. You bring great wealth to your community and far beyond. The Center is a treasure!

We always have fun when we visit NYMRCC! Friday night's concert by Good Morning Bedlam was highly entertaining: a very energized performance of all original music by talented professional musicians... fun, fun, FUN! The art exhibit by regional high school students was also exceptional. A great evening out and an appropriate beginning to World Art Day!

We loved the culture center. They had a display of native American history which just came in from the traveling Smithsonian exhibits which was very interesting. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We talked to the owner for a great amount of time. They were also very helpful in letting us know about the areas points of interest. We definitely recommend this as a place to stop.

It's a joy to have such a great center for cultural activities in such a wonderfully rural area. It's a cool, old building with lotsa character. I've exhibited (as a photographer) there and my family and I have enjoyed many other community concerts, artists-in-residence, and other community activities.

A little treasure for a small town. There's a small gift shop with a nice selection from local artists. The gallery space isn't large but had a nice sampling of art. I was there for a special event so it was packed.

Took the weaving class with Bruce Engebretson and the amount of information, one on one attention and laughs were all worth the drive.
