I’m remodeling my kitchen and have been in and out of the store a dozen times. Every time I get quick, helpful, friendly service. Not a bad experience in this store for the last 16 yrs I’ve been shopping here!

I really enjoy the opportunity to stop by my local Menards store in New Ulm from time to time. It is a beautiful big box retailer that is well organized, staffed with friendly/ helpful personalities and is very clean. This is the one stop shop for the ambitious do-it-yourselfer. Even if you are not the handy one at home, the seasonal merchandise mix will amaze you! Excellent lawn and garden section in summer months.

Good staff. Very helpful.....mostly. it's odd: Most are so great. But ive had 2 that were not helpful at all and seemed annoyed that I was in their store. Paint, lighting and appliances are amazing.

Stacy in the flooring department in New Ulm has been very helpful numerous times when picking out tile, sealer and other items for our project and today she went above and beyond when there was an issue with a return on a special order item. She seems very knowledgeable in her area.

Hard to find anyone to help you, then they are quick to disappear when you're not really finished. store is not very friendly towards their older customers there is nowhere that you can sit down while you're shopping to rest at all. Spoke to a staff member did the registers and she could care less if the vale of lawnchair section you can sit there, that is not what I was shopping for.

I enjoy shopping. I found the vacuum I wanted. A mop, shower liner, a sander! It's fun to go look for what you need. The employees are very kind and helpful.

We had several associates asked if we needed help. But the check out gal was in a big hurry to get us through we had the other persons things coming together with ours and we tried to bag as fast as we could, mot so enjoyable especially after spending $150

Clean store, organized. Has almost anything you could need and the employees and always friendly and try their best to help you with any questions you might have. They're always happy to help no matter how busy they are.Most really know their stuff and if they aren't sure of something they get someone whose been there longer to help.

I am so thankful for the New Ulm Menards! We bought a portable ac unit couple months ago and we didn’t have a receipt anymore because it was working so we threw it away and all sudden couple weeks ago it stopped working! We payed cash and so I couldn’t look up my receipt. But they were so awesome and let us exchange it ! They didn’t have the same one in stock so we were able to upgrade it and pay the difference. I am so thankful for the plumbing department employees! We called Willmar today because they have same one in stock. They were rude and said nope. Definitely recommend New Ulm Menards!

I love the variety of things you can get there, from lawn and garden, to tools, to decorations (especially holiday, etc.) The rebate program and the 11% off everything helps!

I usually love coming to this store but last night I went to look for things to work on my house and this Gentlemen to help me with the flooring was really nice and very helpful! But when I went to the paint area this 2 ladies that were there were the absolute opposite! I don’t know if it was because it was almost closing time but the First Lady that helped me got a call as I was getting help and said she needed to get that call and went off and never came back! I don’t know but that is just plain rude to me because when I used to work as a customer service they didn’t matter if somebody else is meeting me on the phone or anything if I was with that one person I needed to help her until she was done asking for my help and then this case that lady just left without saying anything and was on the phone the hole time! Then there was this other lady that was pregnant and I’m not sure if she was annoyed or what but I had to look for her many times because she would leave me when I had questions!! I had to go out and look for her and every time I did she didn’t look happy! Sorry that I don’t know many things about paint but that’s why your there for to help! Overall I didn’t appreciate that help I got in the paint area!!!!!!

To be totally honest even after the mask mandate, It is the only place I have had to wear a mask no matter what. All the employees are frustrated as well. Until this is over I try my best to buy my materials anywhere but there because of it.

We went looking for a bathtub. The sales person didn't know what filler could go with the bathtub that we had selected. They just didn't seem well- versed in the products. But i love menards and it won't keep me from coming back.

What makes this Menards better than most is the staff. This store had a long period when managers treat their employees badly. Those that survived do a great job at customer service. Unlike other big box, this store's staff go the extra mile. Hope current managers and corp office see benefit of trusting local staff, and better compensate their employees. I'll not go to Menards because of 'rebates', but because someone graciously helps me find what I need. Many of their staff are very knowledgeable. TY!

Many trips and a lot of frustration while trying to get help. When my mom went to nicely ask a worker for help getting boards down off of a second level. The employee rolled her eyes, stomped her feet, and angrily expressed that she was not willing to help us due to the fact that she would've had to do it herself. We asked for help because we were planning to get the boards, we just thought it would be a lot easier and faster if one more person was there to help us. She seemed to be upset with her work load but it was taken out on us. The management needs to better support their staff because this isn't the only case where something like this has happened. We rang the bell for customer service at one point and we had an employee walk up to us, see we rang the bell, put his head down and walk away. This is unacceptable customer service and even I know that at the age of 17.

At the beginning of the pandemic Menards tried to take advantage of scared people by over changing for masks at the door because of this me and my family go to other lumber yards unless it's an emergency. I wish I could give this store zero stares.

Menards New Ulm location. Waited 25 minutes for assistance in the lighting section. Asked gal at customer service to please get me help. She called out on her walkie talkie 3 different times and got zero response. She apologized when I walked out. It’s not her fault.

The New Ulm store is wonderful!Neat & clean.The employees are very helpful & will do their best to help you think through your projects.Many of the Menards employees reconize me & ask what I'm up to project wise & how they can help before I ask for help. I generally don't have to hunt down a store employee like so many other stores.

It was Sunday morning 11a.m. store was dead, 85 degrees out I had to load 200 concrete landscaping blocks with only the help of my 65yr old mother. Four different employees walked by and never once asked if we needed help, then once we got all the blocks on a pallet the gentleman running the forklift had no idea how to set it in the back of a pickup...
