We installed a pool this passed summer and used Worms Lumber & Ready Mix for the concrete work around the pool. I was impressed off the bat with how they handled our project. They worked with our pool installer directly which felt like less of a headache for me and was much appreciated.The only downside was that there was quite a bit of spillage where they loaded the wheel barrels with concrete. This made it difficult to till up to fill in with new dirt and grass in those areas. I’m not sure if this is typical or not. I just wasn’t expecting to have to labor that much in that area.The end product looks amazing. The texture is just about perfect as too little would make it slippery around the pool and too much would be like walking and sitting on a cheese grater.I can’t wait to spend our future summers out on our new concrete patio!

I used to pour with worms ready mix on nearly a daily basis until today when the driver/part owner delivered a load and insulted our workmanship because their product failed and basically told us that they will only stand behind their product under certain conditions. I may only own a small company but I spent $96,000 with them last year and how am I supposed to stand behind my product if they won't stand behind theirs. I've been doing concrete for 20 years and had never had issues with jobs scaling until this year. They refused to even look at the jobs but the driver has the audacity to come to my job site and insult my workmanship? I stand behind my work, they won't stand behind their product, I think that speaks volumes. Since then I've been using Albany ready mix and couldn't be happier!! I wouldn't go back to using an inferior product just like I wouldn't drive a Buick when I could a Ferrari.
