We were visiting New London. My brother in law said Main Street has changed from last time he was here and wanted to check it out. We were quite surprised when we walked through the front door. This store has a huge collection of toys, candy, and games for kids and adults. There was a huge collection of rubber ducks next to the entrance. We were greeted when we came into the store and offered some popcorn samples. Our son had a wonderful time at the store. He enjoyed the train and marbles. We liked the board games and puzzles. We couldn’t believe there was even more things downstairs. This store brought so much fun for the whole family. We would highly recommend it to everyone.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! My boyfriend and i took a trip down there to see some family of mine. We stopped at the Lucky Duck on the way out, after buying our things, we left the store and I had ran over to the car because the weather is cold. We were accused of stealing because we ran OUTSIDE of the store. I started to run on the sidewalk in front of the store. (we walked out of the store) One of the girls with glasses came out and told us that we just stole a bunch of things. (we BOUGHT ONE duck) my boyfriend didn’t grab his receipt and when he told her to go ask her co-worker, her co-worker FORGOT she sold him anything. Until she knew what she had sold to him.MAKE SURE TO GET A RECEIPT WHEN ASKED!!The employees just assume and don’t know what is going on. !! INSTEAD of ASSUMING how to do your job, you should KNOW how to do your job !!

We had so much fun. The ducks are so cute, lots of fun candy and popcorn. Really cute baby stuff and fun retro toys I remembered from my childhood. My grandson and daughter loved it.

I loved this store! It was so nostalgic! Lots of older toys and candy and lots of new and popular things also. Candy,pop, ice cream and toys. Sure made my day!

I was having a good day until I bought a stoner duck from the store and when I was ready to leave after buying the duck my girlfriend ran to our car cause she was cold, so I ran with her and a worker came outside saying we stole the duck plus other things because we ran as we got outside the doors. Very poor customer service as her co worker then said she didn't remember selling the duck initially ( less than 5 minutes after selling me the duck, not to mention she was on her phone when I was checking out, had to get her attention) then remembered that she did sell it to me. If you guys are going to accuse someone of stealing at least be 100% sure first. That was not okay and I won't be coming back.

I’ve been visiting New London for decades, and the Main Street through town has changed greatly — now there are lots of gift shops and art galleries where there once were typical small-town businesses.That said, on a trip in August 2022, I was quite impressed by Lucky Duck as a family-friendly shop with various toys, gifts and snack options that could keep kids amused while parents browsed.On my visit I got my wife a “Duck Hall of Fame” T-shirt that looks very professional (and funny) and has held up well through many washings.So, I recommend Lucky Duck to anyone looking for a unique spot for a gift, soft drink or snack.

This place is awesome! We brought the whole family. The selection of toys and games is amazing. There is so much more than I would have expected for both boys and girls! Tons of candy and drinks as well as the popcorn they make in house! Very unique business that we will be returning to as often as we can!

This place is awesome! So many candies, new ones, old school ones, and so many in between. There was also a large toy selection, although we didn’t shop that area too much.We came in for ice cream. They also had a dairy free option!! All the flavors we got were delicious and the price was very reasonable.

I’m so grateful to have such a fun, high quality toy store in our area! We love to ride bikes to Lucky Duck for ice cream in the summer time, and I try to make it my go-to for finding amazing toys, games and more for gifts throughout the year. They’ve got amazing toy brands like Haba, Brio, Playmobile, and more—aside from easier to find names like Lego. Fantastic toy selection for all ages that will sorely tempt you to walk out with more than you came for!

A (pleasantly) surprisingly large toy store for a small town. Located in the New London downtown, the store leaves you with a fun and lovely experience (plus some $$ out of your wallet) for any kid and adults too. They have (obviously) lots of toy selections, puzzles, legos, jelly beans, candies, etc. for kids of all ages to love. The attached ice cream shop is a nice touch. Great customer service. We love this place and always stop by.

Went in not knowing what to expect. It's a large store full of fun! Candy, bottles of pop (I got Radioactive), ice cream (summer), a room full of rubber ducks of all sizes and kinds, games, toys, clothes...a little bit of everything! Great place to go for gift shopping. It was fun to walk through and look at everything. Lots of ideas for gifts!!

Really fun place! They had a fun candy variety, cool hobby toys, and an assortment of classic games.They've only just opened, but I hope to see more board game options in the future.They also have a whole wall of assorted licorices (black licorice for the win)!

This is a great place. I always find what I'm looking for mainly Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. I'm 63 going on 64 on Dec. 1st and feel like I'm going through my 2nd childhood. I would like to see plastic model car kits offered in the future. We had a variety store in town in the 70's and early 80's that I went to often. Thank you for adding this business to our small town and from what I've seen you definitely have a repeat customer clientele.

Really cool place to bring to the community. The ducks were a fun unique collectable. Candy and toy selection was amazing. Small thing was the board game selection was a little light and I was hoping for a few more complex titles aimed at the hobbist community. Overall very excited to have a local shop.

Frustrating that the website says “open from 10:00am-5:00pm.” We took two excited 5 year olds on an adventure to the store today only to find you aren’t open yet. Very disappointing. Please correct this on your website.
