We love taking our dogs to Top Dog! They are always happy to get there, actually they get super excited once we hit the dirt road. They also come home nice and tired, happy to relax for a day or two after their vacation.

All my doggies go to TOP DOG COUNTRY CLIB and they love love love it! Staff is extraordinary.They even pick up and deliver our doggies to our doorstep! Doggies come home groomed, clean, tired from all their socialization💕💕💕🐕🐕🐕🐶🐶🐶🐕

This was my first time taking my dog to boarding facility (4 nights) and maybe I was expecting too much from this place based on other people’s reviews. Sure the facility looks nice on the websites, but the back areas are closed for viewing so I’m not sure exactly what my dog’s activities included while she was there. My first experience of the place was pulling up and getting out to be greeted by two aggressively barking shelties. As my pup is a curious friendly one, she got too close to the fence and one of the owner’s dogs nipped at her. I said something to the fact and I was met with a reply of, “They are not aggressive. It’s a fence thing,” which makes no senses to me because my dog doesn’t do that and she has never had formal training. Even more so, I would expect the owner’s dogs to be trained better than outside dogs, considering they talk on their website about how many years they have been professionally raising shelties. Before I left I asked if there were webcams for me to watch my dog’s daily activies, I was told, “No.” At no point during my dog’s stay did I get an update on her well-being UNTIL the very last day when I went to pick her up. I actually had to call and ask if she was okay. When I got her back I noticed that while she had been bathed, not all of her nails were trimmed. I feel as though I had paid for 1/2 of a service. The absolute kicker of it all was finding out that my pup contracted Kennel cough from this facility after her stay. My dog is fully vaccinated, has never had any health issues until I took her here. I spent $250 in vet bills to get her the appropriate antibiotics and cough meds. The vet advised I don’t go back there “unless you have to.” Needless to say the total cost of boarding my dog was $535 for the boarding and $250 in vet bills. I will not be going back there again.

We've been taking our dogs to Top Dog for a few months now and I can honsetly say that they have 100% lived up to our extremely high expectations. The staff is incredible! They are always happy to see you, in great moods, kind, considerate and love our dogs as much as we do. The facility is amazing. The dogs have everything available, large out door spaces, pools (large and small), numerous staff members who interact and care for your dogs througout the day, with add on's of walks, etc. the day and as a bonus you get to see your pups on videos on facebook. I drive approx. 40 minutes (one way) to be able to take my pups to Top Dog, twice a week and it is more than worth it. There are times in life when you get what you pay for and this is most certainly one of them. There are numerous doggy day camps in the twin cities, but there arent any doggy day camp comparable to Top Dog in the entire state of Minnesota. This is a luxury, five star, day camp and hotel for all your dogs needs. Honestly, its the best of the best. A+++++++++++++ all the way!

My girls (Lexi and Lacy) love their time at "The Club". Very convenient reservation system, reasonable pricing, combined with tremendous care makes a stay here very rewarding for the pet and the pet owner.

Nice facility...boarded our dog during winter months so not much of a play area. Grooming was a BIG disappointment...since he was there we went ahead with a bath, nails treatment, etc. Honestly, he didn't look that different from when he arrived, but it was totally obvious they never brushed out his coat, which is one of the few things necessary with our type of Border Collie. You're paying super-PREMIUM rates to board there...ancillary services should be better.

My dog loved this place. I think he was actually depressed when we brought him home. It's nice to have a place to go where I know he is getting a lot of exercise, enjoying other dogs, and being treated nicely by the people there. This was our first experience at boarding our dog and we will be using them again!

We just got our dog back from boarding at Top Dog necessitating an immediate trip to our vet. His skin around both ears was rubbed raw, weeping and infected. It was clearly obvious by the smell and discharge to anyone near him. Jean, the owner took no responsibility whatsoever and was dismissive when we reported this. Our dog has never had hot spots and was in perfect condition when we dropped him off. Our vet concurred that this was negligence on their part for our dog to be in this condition. What is most concerning is what would have happened if our dog had a longer stay without any treatment. The staff obviously needs more education on dog care and awareness of conditions. On top of the expense for boarding fees and $150.00 vet bill, this is inexcusable on the ownership to not make any amends. Please go elsewhere for your boarding- they clearly didn't care for the well being of our dog.

This is the only place we can leave our dogs and vacation with our minds at ease. One of my "boys" has many medical issues. He requires a sequence of eating, insulin shots, 2 eye drops, two eye ointments twice a day. This routine is all handled by Top Dog with ease and confidence.The record keeping is unbelievable, the staff knowledgeable, caring and committed to doing a top rate job of caring for my two " boys." Being able to leave for a vacation with confidence that my dogs will be wonderfully cared for and attended to is priceless. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the experiences we have had with Top Dog. We highly recommend them to care for your beloved pals.

Top Dog Country Club is absolutely first rate in all areas. The staff makes sure that is true for every doggie guest so that their owner never feels insecure in leaving their "family member" at Top Dog. We have been providing computer and network services to this facility for over 10 years which requires us to spend lots of time at Top Dog throughout the year. We can attest that the staff, facilities and daily programming for your pet will always be the "best in breed!"

Great place! You have to go there and take it all in. Immaculate, well organized and controlled and they love working with all of the animals. They point out each one by name and give you the best tours. You'll absolutely love it here. They will even pick up your dog and drop it off for you. Check out their new senior dog project with the Top Dog Foundation as well. Can't recommend enough.

Beware!!!! Do not put your dog at Top Dog unless you want a Very Sick Dog and a MASSIVE vet bill!!! I boarded my dog for a couple days during a carpet install left a healthy happy puppy and when I picked her up she had a massive oozing rash covering 1/4 of her body (no mention of it from the staff), my dog was crying in pain the whole ride home and I had to immediately take her to the vet, $200 later I called them and they claimed it must have magically occurred in the morning (my vet told me she definitely had it for days and had gotten worse due to neglect from their staff) and they said they wouldn’t change any of their procedures both for sanitation nor care to prevent this from happening in the future...So unless you want a massive vet bill, 2 weeks of antibiotics and a sick and scared pet, don’t ever use Top Dog!!!!

Amazing place to take your dogs. Our dogs visit all the time and always love it. Every time we hit the gravel road they go crazy because they know where they're going. They get very worn out with all the run around time and swimming in the summer. Our dogs always come back with huge smiles on their faces and immediately pass out in the vehicle on the way home. Your pet will love it here.

We brought our Swedish Vallhund to try herding their small herd of sheep and it went wonderfully! The owner explained everything they were going to do and why both the dog and sheep we're acting as they were, so it was both fun and informative. If you have a herding dog, I highly recommend bringing them to see what their instincts are!

Great during comfortable weather, but they don’t offer ANY indoor play areas...so even in January dogs are outside all day (unless in kennel...which would defeat the purpose of paying premium rates!).
