I can not say thank you enough for the recent accommodations. On a holiday weekend last minute I stumbled across this gem resort. An unfortunate event made me change my plans last minute. At 10 pm on my birthday after searching for hours they answered their phone and happily helped me make reservations for the next day. The rooms were clean, the owners so friendly, they delt with a wasp nest that my daughter pointed out, helped my son with his fishing pole after I struggled to fix it. The beach was clean and I could see it from the cabin while cooking dinner. Seriously from the bottom of my heart thank you for helping me keep my promise to my kids. Oh and dog friendly. I'm sure I could say so many more great things. I would definitely recommend.

Highly recommended by our daughter and son-in-law. We had a beautiful, peaceful perfect sight for our large toy hauler. 3 nights of peacefulness along the lake. Dale and Brittany were so accommodating. A beautiful place to stay.Nearby activities: We were able to ride.our side by side right from the sight and enjoy the MN trails.

We stayed for 3 nights over July 4th wknd. We had friends staying in 2 other cabins. Location is beautiful, right on the lake, nice beach area. Rented the pontoon and loved cruising around the lake. Dale and Brittany have done so much work on this place since we were here last year! Gardens are beautiful and the updates to the cabins are beautifully done. Pet friendly, our dog loved it. The cabins that have not been renovated are still wonderful and cozy. We really enjoyed the huge effort Dale and Brit put out on July 3 to celebrate the holiday - tons to do, free live music, lots of food, and great people. The owners really make this place - they go above and beyond to make everyone welcome and happy.We went last year, brought a few groups out with us this year, and will continue to make this our go-to spot on a regular basis. Highly recommend!!

Starlight Bay is awesome! Dale and Britney are more than accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure your experience there is everything you hoped for. Very clean and so much to do for all ages! Lots of dock space for boats, water toys for big and small. Fishing is great and the RV park is fantastic. Each cabin is unique and has everything you need.

Our family has been staying at resorts in this area for 8 years. This resort was voted "best cabin" of all the resorts we have stayed. The Moon Beam cabin offered a full size tub/shower. It was a spacious 3 bedroom. Everyone could sit around the kitchen table for games and meals. The owners were so very accommodating. A ramp was quickly installed to meet our needs to get in the cabin due to a recent surgery. I recommend you book soon. These are new owners and once word gets out they will fill up quickly (we know from experience at other resorts).

Love the new owners - cant say enough positive things about them. They REALLY care about their customers! It was a bit chilly one night, and Brittany came over with a heavy blanket from her own stash! Who does that? A dang good owner like herself, that's who!!♡♡♡The updates in the cabins are outstanding!! I didnt mske it swimming this year, but they have added adult kayaks, which is great!!I cant say enough good things! I know i just am anxiously awaiting the next trip up there!

Given 3 stars because for exclusive vacationing, this place is pretty good. Beautiful location by the water with a cozy country vibe. BUT, if you full-time or you travel for work like we do, this spot is not for you. I understand last year when we stayed it had just gone under new ownership and that they are improving, but the price does not make up for it. We were charged $1K A MONTH for rent, then charged $350 A MONTH for electric. Never, in ANY WEATHER CONDITION have we EVER used over $150/month worth of electricity in our 50 Amp 5th wheel. I sensed that along with us and others that were there for work that I spoke with, that there was some price gouging going on, given that they were also being outrageously charged, not just us. In conclusion, if you're looking for an out-of-town weekend camping trip, maybe give this place a call. Anything long term, look at other options.

Just spent a wonderful week there. All the work Dale and Brittany are putting into it is paying off. They went out of there way to make sure we had all we needed, and always with a smile. Everything was clean and the grounds were well kept. Docks were perfect. The fishing and fun were everything we hoped for. Do your self a favor and check this place out.

New owners are fantastic! There's so many nice new upgrades going in, new lighting, new roofs. They told us before we left that they would have a cute little campground store in place soon with all of the essentials for forgetful people like me. :) Really looking forward to our next stay there in the fall when the colors will be GORGEOUS!!!

The owners didn’t ask how our stay went. So here is feedback: They need to trim some trees to enter the campground. The campsite is not level and full of holes. Prepare to bring lots of blocks to level your camper. If this was fixed we would have rated it better. The atmosphere is very quiet which was nice. Ask to see the pontoon before you rent it. It is old with removable chairs. The owners were nice to let us back out of renting it after it didn’t match what we were told.

Classic “up north” Minnesota resort on a nice fishing and recreational lake! Convenient location, close to town! Clean, comfortable rooms, awesome amenities and friendly, helpful management! Makes for a perfect, low key getaway for family and friends alike!

The Starlight Bay Resort is a wonderful get away and the new owners are exceptional! Always helpful, super informative and the entire atmosphere is wonderful. We have been coming there for more than 20 years and the fishing is awesome once you know where to go! Super great experience!

Stopped by to visit some people who are staying there. Nice cabins, pretty well kept. I particularly noticed the shower stall in the bathroom which was updated. Looks good. I'm a landlord too so I notice the conditions of properties. Some minor repairs needed but all in all pretty well maintained. Hats off to the owners.

It's your own piece of heaven. Walk right out onto a dock to fish, great hospitality by the owners, if you can find something, they will find it for you or they will tell you where to find it. A great place to go with family or friends. Definitely suitable for adults. I wouldn't recommend a cabin right on the water with small kiddos but they accommodate anyone. Will definitely be back again!!!

Stopped to check on camper for sale. He was very short and in a rush. No time to talk he said. Told us the price for camper. Period and no discussion he said. Problem was, if we wanted to look inside, we'd have to put it on our truck. Period he said. NO THANKS.

I love this resort. Reminds me of going to the lake 40 years ago staying in a “rustic” cabin and being able to completely relax. Sherm and Mary are wonderful hosts, and there is plenty of activities also.
