The store is currently undergoing store and management and is not fully stocked and is currently working on getting the shelves and other equipment up and running but I do understand that they're trying to get the stuff working right and getting the computer system updated and I will keep this for my groceries since this is only a little while before the store is fully ready ,so I am just trying to make sure that people who make the store that last minute stop on the way home after work to get a few things for dinner or whatever you may need so please give them some courtesy and be nice and have the attitude of a understanding patron and the people who work there are very friendly and courteous and helpful and polite and professional so please don't make their job any harder

Nashwauk Market has repeatedly been a lifesaver.About once a month I run out of a staple like eggs or bread or milk and Nashwauk Market has me covered. They also have my favorite add ons like ice cream, soda and butterscotch candy. Then there’s local food: meats, baked goods, jellos and even spice mixes. The staff are always friendly, the store is always clean.What they don’t have: aisles crowded with distractions and advertisements or a busy massive parking lot to dodge frustrated drivers in.In short: it’s more than a supply depot, it’s a pleasant shopping experience with great people and I always look forward to a shopping run there.

They're always so nice to deal with. Prices are decent for a small town store. The meat market is fantastic and you can't get more fresh. The brats and sausages have quite a variety and there is always something different to try. Deli meal specials are good too.

They have all the grocery basics but the meat department is exceptional. Smoked fish, a variety of brats and other sausages. Great selection and reasonable.

Nashwauk Market sells a wide variety of high quality meat. My friends and I often travel from Hibbing to stock up. We've always been very satisfied.

Great Market! Has a little bit of everything you need and their meat is excellent and their Deli is fantastic! Good prices for a small store and always fabulous sales. Has the best selection of Dean's Ice Cream too!

Very nice store; clean and orderly. Jody does an awesome job in the produce department and is very helpful. Meats are outstanding. Great selection of salads and bakery products. Keep up the good work!

I remember coming here when it was Fred's IGA when I was a kid with my parents (20+ years)! Their meat department is amazing!! I absolutely love their smoked hams!! Thanks for all you guys do!!

Pop machines outside eat your money or don't work. High prices. But worth it for a locally owned business. That puts money back into the community. Rather go here than super one or Walmart just for that reason

During a transaction they had stolen 20$ off of the belt i had placed for products. They refuse to acknowledge the fact nor show me the cameras, lawsuit is in place. As well as a soda is 4$ proces are scandalous! DO NOT!!! SHOP HERE ONE CASHIER IS ON HEROIN EVERYDAY FALLING ASLEEP WHILE DOING TRANSACTIONS. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT SHOP HERE! They claim at the below review i harrassed a cashier? I asked for my money back, if they can show any proof of harrasment then please do so. The manager himself is very rude and seems to be under the unfluence of narcotics as well. The whole store is a mess. Ive had nothing but great transactions at this location until i was stolen from. Lawsuit has been put into place. They wont even show me the camera footage either, which looks very suspicious upon my money being stolen off the belt/register area. I am not the 1st person who has had this issue. I will have the others reciew as well

I love Freds. They have great sales, not over priced. Produce and meats 100% fresh. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They bag and carry out also. The Deli and bakery are top notch. Love you all at Freds.Crystle Salisbury

Nashwauk Market, or formerly Fred's in Nashwauk is a wonderful place to shop for groceries! They do their own butchering, smoking meat, and they have a small deli with great food! They offer a lot of local specialty foods like porketta, and their own varieties of brats and summer sausageFor a smaller market, they have a reasonable selection too of brand name items. I have found that many of the prices there are comparable to larger grocery stores in our area.

The porketta and chicketta from Nashwauk Market is an amazing taste of Minnesota’s Iron Range. Definitely worth stopping by and throwing a few in your cooler to make at home when you come through town.

Unfortunately, it is not the same since the new owners took over. Only stop if you're in a pinch. The selection is limited (door signs blame the pandemic, no other stores are still this run down). Check your dates, don't count on quality produce.
