Manager keeps a clean store, but lacks in customer service. I buy a lot of product in cans. I can usually ask for a box and the employee is happy to get one for me or show me where they have some that I can put together. The ONLY store that refused to look for a box also pointed out that I am not special and he doesn't do it for anyone. That person being the actual manager of the store. He also informed me that he is the number one store for cleanliness because he doesn't keep stuff in the isles. I appreciate that for sure. I hope the company gives you a big star for that. I found him condescending. Work on your customer service and you will have a perfect store. I'm guessing that's what you are shooting for.

I love the variety of items available and affordable prices 😀. The staff is attentive and friendly, always willing to help, and self check out is available for use when I'm in a hurry.

Watch with what you buy. Keep your invoice and check it when you get home. I have had so meny items on sale and the advertised price at the store is Not the price you were charged on the invoice. On Saturday I went and purchased $31.89 worth of items after the store coupons were deducted I gave the Manager my up to date $5.00 off store coupon for any purchases made over $25.00 She stated the $5.00 was deducted. When I got home later that afternoon I got my Cash register receipt and looked at it the $5.00 Was Not credited so today Sunday I went back found the Manager and showed her the recipe she said I'm sure the $5.00 was deducted it was Not. Then as Every Other time I have Returned to show where an Error occurred the Manager said Sorry there is nothing I can do about it. The Store Manager Can Not Remedy A Store Mistake WHO CAN?? It's no wonder the aisles are cluttered with carts full of merchandise to be displayed they cant keep help. I wouldn't work for a company that dosen't give even the Store Manager the ability to Credit a Store MistakeMy guess this store will be Closed for good soon. It's to bad Mountain Lake MN needed this kind of store. But I have spoken to other former store employees and other customers who have not been treated right and have quite or have stopped shopping here as I will be. Money and the raising cost of goods are going up. A person can Not Afford to be treated Poorly as I feel I have been. Sorry Dollar General I cant afford you.

Aisles were Packed with carts of store stock so much that a customer could not go down most aisles because they were blocked. Store staff complained that they could not keep employee's because of the store Manager was so hard on the employees they would quit after just a few days. Dollar General needs to rethink the Manager. I as a customer had problems with her when I used a week end $5.00 store coupon that Did not give the credit and she said tough luck she could not and would not reissue the credit. I have all but quit shopping at the Mountain Lake store. I go to Windom they work with customers to make them happy with there shopping experience. Mountain Lakes DG is going to fail. Unless the Main Office doesn't make a change in there Manager.

I like Dollar Gene 3rd all because I can get things at a price that is affordable. The clerks very helpful when I can't find something. They show.me where it is not just probably over in 6 or where ever. Very polite also.

What time do they really open on Sunday this the 4th time I go there n open 8am but store is closed no notes on the door nothing what kind of business is it telling ppl yes we r open but customers shows up no ones here I like the old workers that was there when the store first open but now I don't even go there like how I used too

This Dollar General is very neat and clean. They have a bunch of cute decorations. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Completely racist, every time we go shopping she runs to the other side, or she see us getting in and hide in the back. This is so disappointing
