1st encounter-I had called to find out what hours passport photos were completed and stopped in during those hours. The store associate that I spoke with, went on a rant about the customer before me. Then told me that the person that does photos was out. Then associate walked away. Came back 5 mins later and said she didn’t know what she was doing but would do the photo. After attempting the photo, she ran away again. What a mess. Found out she’s actually a manager.2nd encounter- Tried to pick up prescriptions and was told it was being denied by my insurance. I called my insurance and they said it was never submitted to them. It took my insurance doing a conference call with me and Walgreens and insurance had to explain to Walgreens how to do their job correctly.

Their pharmacy customer service is wonderful when you can get it. The problem is that they're chronically understaffed. They can't handle the business that they have, so I took mine elsewhere.

If drugs didn't have such a nice markup this place would have gone out of business years ago. Waiting times are insane and the actual pharmacist reminds me of my first boss at Subway... Pretending to be "busy" with admin work while the techs and employees try to put out the dumpster fire that is the pharmacy. Two stars because of immaculate shelves. If half the effort was put into efficiency as was put into optics, I'd be a happy customer.

A woman in the store accused young children of shoplifting. She called a kid short, and was bullying someone because of his height. And not to mention being very very discriminatory towards an African child. She was assuming stuff because of their baggy homeless looking clothes. And took pictures of minors, and, was following them around the store.

My wife and I have had to get prescriptions filled recently on seperate occasions. In both our cases, even though our orders were sent in early in the morning, they weren’t ready until late in the afternoon. We’ll past the estimated time we were given on the phone and app.I can understand being short staffed, but it shouldn’t take this long to get a simple prescription filled.

I made an appointment for Covid testing at 3:15 and was on time. I followed my reservation email directions and went inside. Front staff were clueless as to what I was supposed to be doing. Waited in pharmacy line for over 5 minutes only to be told I needed to go back to the car and pull up to the outside window. There I waited over 10 minutes finishing around 3:45. My results were supposed to be sent to me in 2 hours or less.At 7:00 I called and was on hold for 15 minutes with pharmacy who after answering transferred me to someone named Ted. I told him my story and he told me that it would be 72 hours as he understood it. I corrected him that my appointment confirmation said 2 hours. He argued with me several times on this then said he didn’t know why the pharmacy sent me to him. He would go back to the pharmacy and check with them again. He then answered the phone again and stated it was inconclusive. I’ve taken enough of these tests to know how it works and I know my end was good and said I’m guessing they didn’t get to it in time. He proceeds to tell me he ran the test himself about 3 minutes after I left. (He also said it was the only one he did that day….duh maybe that’s why they transferred me to you). I asked him why someone didn’t call me and let me know that it was inconclusive so I could have come back in and have it done again. Now I have to drive and pay for another test at a Walgreens that is open longer. There wasn’t one aspect of this process that went well. What a Mickey Mouse organization. I would not recommend them to anyone. I also asked if he would just give me a home test if I came in and he said he would not do that. For the love of Mike!???

Waited in a long pharmacy line to pick up prescriptions and the cashier refused to ring up any other items. I was expected to get back into another long line at the front of the store to purchase a single item. Will be transferring to a new pharmacy and will no longer give this company my business. I understand short staffing but there is no excuse for poor customer service.

I called pharmacy when they open at 8am, after being on hold for over an hour I got to talk to the pharmacist and he said my meds would take 2 hours to fill. So flash forward to 5:30pm I get to the pharmacy after work and after telling th pharmacy tech my name 5 times, “old lady who looks like she does not know where she is” she tells me it’s out of stock till the end of July. I say I was told it would just take 2 hours this morning by the pharmacist. She just stares at me and says sorry. Avoid if you can, changing pharmacies right away

I can see why all the bad reviews. I have been getting prescriptions delivered and during the height of covid the delivery was excellent but now the last 3 times I've had to call because they were not getting delivered and today I still hadn't gotten the last order and they said it was waiting to be picked up and I ordered it 2 weeks ago and they told me that door dash had not come to pick it up. So I called the main offices and they told me door dash does not deliver prescriptions, only fed ex does. They told me that i needed to cancel the order and reorder and I could take up to 10 days to get my order wth?? the people at this pharmacy do not have a clue and give bad information. There was also a time that I decided to count the number of pills and they had given me 2 pills more than they were supposed to, so it makes me wonder how many people have been shorted pills?? Looking into other options for getting prescriptions!

Manager was incredibly rude. I am a physician who tried calling in to get a patient a prescription and the person who answered said I needed to talk to the manager as it was after hours. I waited on hold for over 10 minutes and the manager immediately got on and said I needed to call back tomorrow and hung up before I could respond. I don’t think this pharmacy cares about their patients and I would be hesitant in using them.

It’s busy which I understand, but 2 ppl were working the registers no one behind me in line. I asked to get a passport photo The lady was new so she said she didn’t know how- understandable. She said the man could help- he just said “we can’t do that tonight”. And he was acting frantically busy. This place needs to get there stuff together, just seems a zoo and chaos. I will be going somewhere else. I dread going here for pharmacy because it’s always pure chaos (if they are even open). Hoping they get better…if you can’t do something all hours like it says , put it on your website to book appointments so ppl don’t waste there time driving in.

I noticed a lot of the negative reviews revolve around people's issues with the pharmacy... It's really not bad at all. If you call ahead of time and maintain a line of communication, you will never arrive surprised that they aren't ready. I've loved coming here, and though you do have to wait sometimes, it's usually because 20+ people arrive to checkout at the same time and expect to be in and out in a minute. Some of the employees here are like family to me, and I'll miss them all dearly.

Consistently the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. If I could give negative stars, I would. They certainly don't even deserve 1 star. Avoid using this pharmacy at all cost unless you like wasting your life away waiting for them to figure it out. I can't do it anymore on a monthly basis with how they function, it's TERRIBLE. Its more time efficient to drive from Mound to St. Paul to get my prescription even though this Walgreens is 1/2 a block from my house.

This is the worst Walgreens ever. They do not answer their phones and when finally the tech did, she tried to tell me how much medication I was prescribed last week when just out of surgery! (Dah, I know that) so that’s the reason your not filling my prescription? What the hell! It’s none of your business, the doctor prescribed the medication! Then I’m told insurance needs to approve the cost. What the heck???? They’ve know about this all afternoon. Why has it taken more than 6 hours to handle this?Then they disconnect you! Never doing business with these people ever again!

I usually have good experience, but today there were two cashiers. One was free and didn't help me. You can display your camera if you want to learn more about it. It was so painful. Customers should be treated equally irrespective of their differences.

This place is unbelievable. I go out of my way to get there before 6:00 and I see a sign up saying they closed today at 4:00. This is unacceptable. What in the hell are we supposed to do when they have my refill behind the locked pharmacy area? I never know if the pharmacy will be open or not when I arrive!!! Of course when there are actually there, the service is painfully slow but I guess that is better than "We randomly closed early today."

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered in my life. They hang up on you, or they say can’t tell you when or if something is ready over the phone and tell you to just come into the store. But when you come into the store there is always an issue. It’s out of stock, or I can’t find your prescription, or it never got filled. They tell you it will be ready the next day but when you come back in the same thing. I get pharmacies are probably hectic and they may be understaffed or something, but they just don’t seem to care at all about helping or serving their customers. It’s worth driving to a different location.

I echo everyone’s sentiment here. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever used, hands down. So slow, sometimes they don’t even get my prescription ready that day despite me calling in. It’s very frustrating. The only person that has redeemed themselves is the heavier set gentlemen with the glasses. Love that guy - he saves the day for that place.

Walgreens app ever single month when renewing simple prescriptions: “please contact the pharmacy to fill this prescription.”Seems simple, but you’ll spend an average of 30 minutes waiting to get through to someone.

I have never taken the time to write a Google review but WOW. I love walgreens and just moved to the area. I transferred my prescriptions to the nearest walgreens, which was the mound location. I had to call on two different days and encountered the rudest pharmacy techs I have ever dealt with in my life. I can’t even describe the poor customer service and how awful they are to deal with. I finally had to ask one lady to stop interrupting me after the third time she failed to let me speak a complete sentence. Big mistake on my part. Transferring all of our service elsewhere immediately.

Consistently slow, even if you look at the 5 star reviews - they mention it being slow. I have some kind of an issue almost every single time I have to pick my prescription up. I've had to come back because my order wasn't ready on multiple occasions. Their phone was out for 6 days before they fixed it. If there were another option in Mound, I would never shop there again.

I have used this Walgreens for years and the staff is always friendly and professional and the clients are just regular people. I don’t know what the reviewers who give one star reviews are seeing, tells me more about them than this Walgreens. They must have more drama in their own lives. It’s a relatively new,clean, well run store in Mound which is a pretty mellow community.

My daughters and I stopped in to get our flu shots. Upon arrival the prescription pick up line was extremely long. I approached the pharmacist help window and inquired about flu shots, she replied with the line is over there. We waited in line for 20 minutes only to be told there is a 45 minute wait for us because we don't have appts. This was confusing as I was there the day before and spoke with a gentlemen who told me I didn't need an appointment and they have walk in appts available with only a 5-10 minute wait. Walgreens or this pharmacy specifically needs to decide if they are going to require appts or get themselves organized so they can handle walk-in's as advertised. Side note customer service at the pharmacy could be greatly improved. I have had several rude encounters over the past few weeks with a particular pharmacy tech. She might possibly be the most miserable person on the face of the planet.

The pharmacist at this location was really mean to my great grandpa for no reason. We’re telling everyone to avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t want anyone to be treated that way but especially mad to see that kind of a treatment towards a 90 year old man.

The reviews for this pharmacy do not surprise me. Besides one pharmacist, for the past 2 years, every time I call or pick up a prescription, I feel judged and humiliated. It has gotten to the point where calling these people to get a prescription actually makes my condition worse. They never fill in time, they are rude, they have zero compassion and the last time I called they mocked me...you just have to read the reviews to know this is the worst Walgreens in America. I don’t know what to do as this is the only Pharmacy we have in mound, we’re all stuck with them even though we can’t stand them. I might try spring lake park but the hours are very weird. Wish the city or someone would do something about these horrid people.

Every time I use this pharmacy the experience is worse than before! No sense of urgency of the staff. Worse than going to the DMV and that’s hard to achieve. Based on all the similar reviews, they don’t seem to have any interest in changing. Very disappointing. If I could give them ‘zero’ stars, I would.

I always see bad reviews for this location, and granted I’ve never used their pharmacy, but I’ve always been in and out of here with no issues! Just placed an order for photos and picked them up within a half hour. Can’t complain!
