I just want to say, the crew they have in the Motley DG now, are the best, they are the most helpful, nicest people ever! So I am updating my review from a 1 to a 5 star! This crew deserves it!! They know their store and they are what true customer service looks like!Wasn't a very pleasant trip today. 1 of the store personal was not very knowledgeable or friendly. Not a typical experience for this store...

Very clean store, and well stocked. The manager is very friendly and a hard worker..I even found her outside sweeping the sidewalks so sand would not track in. Compared to the other local DG's this is the best. Give this manager a raise.!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to give a Thank you to the manager that was there on 9/22. The kindness and helpfulness you showed while I was also trying to help an individual I did not know reminds me that there are good people in the world still. If we had not been in a pandemic I would have hugged you! People don't get recognized for the good they do anymore and I think we need more of that and less of the negative.

This store is nice to have close by. The employees are super friendly. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE! The shelves are stocked and the store is super clean. I can even find some healthy food here too. When I just need a few things, I go here instead of the half hour to Walmart. It's a little more expensive, but gas is expensive and makes it cheaper in the long run. Download the Dollar General app and you can find good deals too.

Check your receipts, the sale stuff doesn't always ring up right.... Miranda is Awesome! I don't know her personally but she is the hardest worker there and friendly and knowledgeable.... and I'm sure underpaid. I would have given 5 stars but seriously, I shouldn't have to check up on every transaction.

Over all, I like the Dollar General stores but as for the one in Motley, MN....the staff definitely leaves something to be desired. They are rude and act like you are bothering them if you ask for assistance or have to go looking for them so you can check out.
