Incredibly happy with Moose Lake Veterinary Clinic and the services they provide. They are professional, accommodating, clean and kind. i currently bring in 2 of my dogs and Im very happy with the level of care they receive each visit. i also think that their prices are fairly priced and that makes it easier to prioritize your animals health.When I first started bringing my boys here, I had to get some paperwork sent over from another Vet clinic in another State. I wasn’t having the easiest time getting it done and one of their front desk workers took the time to sit on the phone and get the records. They really do all they can to help you. Those little things mean a lot for me and that solidified my decision to make this my boys main clinic for care.

Went there today to have all three of our cats checked out and given some basic treatments. Getting scheduled could be a bit of an issue as their schedule is booked out a ways. They're also only accepting clients in the area. I find stopping in easier then leaving a message but either will do. Very good service? Their knowledgeable and aware of the fiscal impacts of services can have on pet parents.

Amazing clinic, they love our girls and take such great care of them.Treating them like there own pups and making sure we get the best treatment possible for them!Our littlest girl wasn't doing to hot and we aren't still out of the woods but they were amazing with us and patient.2 of our pups absolutely love them and that makes it just that much better.

We took our puppy here and she had to stay overnight because she was so sick. We picked her up on a Friday evening only to take her to the emergency vet less than 24 hours later. She had been misdiagnosed and was so anemic she almost needed a blood transfusion (16% blood supply). The E-vet got her back on the road to recovery. Moose Lake never called to follow up on how our puppy was after the weekend. Most of the staff was very nice but even when I questioned things my concerns were ignored. Very disappointing experience.

This Clinic will always hold a special place in our hearts. We were traveling from Saint Louis to Cloquet to attend a wedding, and had our senior lab in the car with us. He had what we think was a stroke and nearly passed in our travels. Sadly, we knew what needed to be done because our beloved pet was dying. We began calling Animal Hospitals’, and Veterinary Offices along our path of travel hoping someone could help us because our dog was beginning to suffer. No one would take him. Not even in my home town of Cloquet. We are so grateful to Moose Lake Veterinary Clinic because they were the ONLY office that saw how desperate we were and cared enough about our dog to help us. All of this without even knowing us or our pet. They were expecting us that afternoon as we passed through and offered us a private room to spend time with our dog alone. They were kind, sympathetic, professional, loving and very wonderful to talk with. We used their cremation services and again everyone handled this process with such professionalism and grace. So as much as we will miss our travel buddy, we feel so blessed that this Moose Lake Clinic really do love animals. They never hesitated to help us, our fur baby, and for that we are forever grateful. We even received a sympathy card from the entire staff. I highly recommend this Clinic. They “get” it.

Dr Kris is great with our horses. When our old miniature horse tests showed a remarkable improvement with the medication she prescribed, she was excited to tell us the good news.When I went to pick up more medication, they were great and showed me the paperwork to get a rebate.Very professional, and nice.

My horse I had most of my life told me she was done. Equine is struggling in the area with not taking on new patients or not being able to get certain medications, one of them being euthanasia meds. I could not find a vet with access to it, that much, or in a humanely reasonable time to come out. I was terrified that I had no humane way soon enough for my friend. Moose Lake Equine heard my concern and felt it. They came farther than they typically do to be human with me and help my Equine partner cross thar bridge. Thank you!

They were so amazing! I had my baby laid to rest there. Soft music played in the room. The Dr. And the vet assistant were so consoling to us. They petted Brandy on the head and body. We had a great experience at the vet! Staff thoroughly listened to my concerns and examined my dog with great care and knowledge. We are hopeful with the care plan created for my dog's sinus issues and urinary infection. Staff did an excellent job cutting nails, also! Priced right as expected. Thank you!

Excellent curbside service for our siamese who needed an annual checkup, distemper, and rabies. I called upon arrival to check-in and shortly after the vet technician came out discussed current needs and history of cat before taking her inside for services. Returned 20 minutes later with siamese and updated on vitals and other pertinent info. Made payment for services and away we went. Everything went smoothly and the technician was GREAT. So glad we chose MLVC for our pets needs!

Competent but totally rude and inconsiderate of my time. Farm visits are expensive, did not let me know a general time of visit until I called the morning of the appointment. Did not accomplish what I asked, meaning another expensive farm visit. And then hung up on me. If I’m going to spend $400 on routine care, I’d like to have some level of customer service,

Past 15 years, this is a great vet, I have taken my two dogs. Have appreciated his balanced approach to health and nutrition. I always felt properly informed and not pressured to make unnecessary purchases. A country vet who cares for small pets to livestock.

We've been bringing our animal to Dr's Skalko for years, and they have always taken awesome care of our family pets. Recently received the diagnosis of Addison's disease in our yellow lab. Dr Kathy and her team have work so well with us to get our big boy back on track! We know this is a life long disease, and it's great having a wonderful animal clinic/hospital in our area. Would definately recommend them!!

If I could give no stars I would. The lady working was ssoooo rude. They were talking behind my back. And in fact the treatment I received when I walked in was horrendous. Like I didn’t dress proper and look proper cause of living on a farm and I was treated like poor.
