Best grooming job on my labradoodle. Ever! I mean not ONE hair missed. Just amazing. You know what I mean, people... there's always something we're disappointed in with our dog's do after the groomers. But not this time! Haha! Thanks, Angel! You're truly an angel. Remmy will be back for boarding when necessary. But he'll be back for grooming regularly. Thank you so much!Picture shows the great trim on his foot. And the other is just his general weirdness.

This place did a remarkable job grooming our pet. Would definitely recommend.We also needed to get some running around done, and Kennelz and Bitz let us drop off our pet an hour early.You can tell this place is really a pet friendly business. I so love the Paw prints in the concrete sidewalk outside. You can tell someone loves pets at this establishment.

I would give no stars after my experience with them. They promised me two different spots and scheduled me to board my two dogs and seemed like they were a miracle to be able to do it for me and I felt so relieved, knowing my dogs would be taken care of when I was out of town. I was so wrong! They said to bring my shot records when I dropped the dogs off, than I got a call saying they needed them right away, I had to wait for my vet to be open and I got the records right away on the following Monday and than was informed my dogs needed one more vaccine, my vet was booked and I was told I could buy that certain vaccine over the counter and administer it at home. Which, I did right away. I sent shot records including the most recent shots of Bordetella that’s required. They instead called my vet multiple times, why? I’m. Not sure. Than, they denied me of boarding and of course, I’m suppose to be going out of town tomorrow and that’s way to late to get boarding anywhere else and my other board date I booked with them was Fourth of July week. So, I know I’ll definitely not be able to get them in anywhere else! I give this kennel a huge thumbs down for their unprofessional behavior and rudeness to me.

A little unhappy this time. I ask them to use a #5 but his neck was practically shaved on the side. Also ask for a carrot tail, this is not a carrot tail. Seems the groomer doesn’t read the instructions, or there’s a lack of communication somewhere. Has this place changed hands ?

Very disappointed. Multiple reasons. Over charged me. They charge by breed from what I gathered while discussing the price difference between my dogs. Both short hair 50 lbs. Charged one as a German Shepherd. Dont have a German Shepherd. One of my girls is 13. I asked them to be easy on her and take her age into consideration. Not sure what they did but my 13 year old is struggling to get up off her bed. She won't even come to me for love and treats she's so sore. The young girl at the cash register lied to me and said she changed the price from $65 for the "German Shepherd" to $45 for each dog but my bill was $126. Then reduced to $118. They wouldn't give me an itemized receipt. They did give me back $21 and some change but no itemized receipt. I'm happy they gave a bit back but why would the young girl lie about what she told me the charge was then go back and tell the groomer she didn't tell me that charge information. The staff said the young girl wouldn't lie. What a nightmare. My girl is so sore and this isn't normal. She's been getting groomed for 13 years and never has she been like this after. I will groom myself moving forward. Too expensive, not good customer service and for whatever reason my girl is very sore. Also, they said they'd call a half hour before I can pick them up. I called 2 hours into their grooming and the young girl told me they'd be done by 2-230. It was 2 already so I headed there. Finally left their office after 3. Not good business.

Reasonably priced and very friendly.We have been kenneling our dogs here for the last few years and been very happy.We got them bathed a few times as part of the package but not recently as the last time we did, our big fluffy boy came back a bit damp and matted. Not really a huge deal, and probably just an off day.Overall wife and I would definitely recommend, and have done, to both friends and family getting ready to leave town.

I have used them mulriple times now. I drive from the cities to bring my pups when we leave out of town, yes 2 drive 2 hours each way just for kennelz and bitz. Its hard to find people who show they care about the animals. This last time he was super excited to be there, which reflects on the staff that's employed here.Highly highly recommend!!!!!!!The Vigdor family

We had our Maltese groomed there over a year ago and he was cut so bad he had to go to the vet. Now, under new ownership, the groomer is AWESOME and he got the best haircut he’s ever had in his life!!! He looks so handsome. I highly recommend this groomer.

We drove up from Iowa, and when we arrived at 3:00 pm, to board our dog, the sign said closed and the door was locked. A phone number was given to call stating the staff may be in the back grooming. The call went to voicemail. I pounded on the door and no answer. I walked around the building and found the window to the grooming area open, so I knocked on the window and yelled several times into the window and the groomer, who was helpful and went around and opened the door. She couldn't check in my dog, but said she would call the owner; no answer. The lack of respect for a customer was astounding. We were headed to Duluth to see a concert in which a family member was to perform, and we had to find a hotel that was pet-friendly and I had to stay with my dog and missed the concert. Thanks for nothing Kennelz and Bitz.

We dropped our dog with them for 10 days on our way down to MSP airport. The location is very convenient, the price is better anything we found a n Duluth or the cities, and they took excellent care of our dog while we were away. We will definitely be using Kennelz and Bitz from now on. An added bonus was that we were able to get our dog before we got back to Duluth.

We have used them a couple times now. Last summer and early this spring. Real nice, friendly. Reasonable rates and choices to pick from. Can even bring your dog home clean and nails trimmed! Will definitely use them in the future when we go UTVing.

We LOVE bringing our Great Dane, Charlie, to Kennelz and Bitz. They love and care for her as if she were their own. Charlie is a rescue, and dog aggressive making it difficult for her to travel with us-but we never worry while we're out of town. The kennel is exceptionally clean and welcoming and Charlie is always happy when she arrives and just as chipper when it's time to come home. They also take care of all our grooming needs (baths, nails, etc.) and do a fantastic job. Greg and Patty are wonderful at what they do and you can see the love and joy they have for the dogs every time you visit. Their rates are very reasonable and their customer service is outstanding. They even had Santa come one year to take pics with all the pets that were being boarded over Christmas! I would recommend this kennel to anyone who wants their pet to not just be boarded but loved and cared for like family while they are away. Also, the kennel being located in Moose Lake is very convenient when we head to the cities, but even when we are going north, we still bring our Charlie to Kennelz and Bitz.

Our first experience was very happy and went excellent and our second time was equally as good the convenience of their location helps us greatly also. The entire family and all their people who work there are five star ratings. I feel that my dog enjoys its stay very well. I could tell by the dogs behavior that it likes the people quite well. Thank goodness for such kind and caring group of hard working people to take care of pets in such a quality environment with compassion that they all have. I don't typically need to kennel my dog, but had to recently. I was happy with this kennel. At drop off, they asked questions about my dog's needs. Then at pick up, I could tell they had spent time with my dog. They knew her personality, including certain things she likes and dislikes. My dog was happy and comfortable when we picked her up. I will definitely use Kennelz and Bitz again.

My wife and I love Kennelz and Bitz! Whenever we're heading up north from our home in the Twin Cities, we drop our dogs off here. We've been customers for several years. We usually leave them for 3-4 days. Our pups always come back to us safe, sound, healthy, and happy! If you ask nicely, sometimes Kz&Bz will share pics of your dogs having fun on Facebook.We've always felt confident in the ability of the staff to care for our dogs, and they're always polite and helpful when we drop the dogs off or pick them up. The facility is always clean and obviously well-maintained. The pricing is great (better than anything you'll find in the cities).I'd highly recommend giving Kennelz and Bitz a chance to care for your furry friend when you go on vacation.

Kennelz and Bitz is my favorite place to bring my dog! They live on the property and put your loved pooch first! The owners and kids give all the dogs TLC and love. They let the dogs out a lot and let them play together if it's okay with the owners. HIGHLY recommend this kennel to people! I live in the cities and drop her off here whenever I go to Duluth. I wouldn't want her anywhere else :)

Didnt find it to be incredibly personable. Over all wont be bringing our dogs back. Dont have good faith they got enough play time due to thier behavior when they were leaving and following hours at home..Positive was decent pricing and it definitely caters more to boarding.

Was able to get my old doggo in on the same day after stressing out over finding someone to watch him just for a few hours. Found out I could pay less for just day care as opposed to overnight, which is all I really needed. When I took my goodest boi there, she asked if I wanted to get his nails trimmed, which he desperately needed at the time. She was also able to drain his glands while she had him. All at a very reasonable price. Also, the owner, whose name I cannot remember, was very professional, polite, and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend this business to take care of your pet.

This last weekend my husband and I kenneled our dog Brandy, whom we adore very much at Kennelz and Bitz. We don't kennel our dog very much beacuse we don't trust her in hands of others. However, the staff at Kennel and Bitz we're very friendly and knowledgeable. They took care of our dog very well, the facilities we're very clean and smelt great!! It was very clear that the owners of the facilitys love what they do and take care of the dogs very well, when we arrived to pick her up, there we're hug and kisses good bye from the daughter, Carlyn. She was very sweet with our dog and nothing but nice things to say about our dog Brandy. I would recommend this facility to any animal lover, and we will kennel our dog again there if necessary.Jess & Mark TwardyP.S. I did not kennel my dogs. I found myself in a situation whereby my regular pet sitter bailed on me last minute. I turned to Kennelz and Bitz on a recommendation. I was a bit skeptical as past experience in a kennel was not only unpleasant, but expensive. I did some quick due diligence on their website and was impressed. I am not sure if it was the temperature controlled suites, cots, "Yappy Hour" or the free and frequent kisses and belly rubs, but they had me and accomodated my kids. I am now a frequent flyer/Priority Rewards Member....call it what you want. My dogs love it there! My peace of mind is at complete ease because of the genuine, sincere, competant care my dogs receive by the loving staff/family of Greg, Patty, Carlyn, Avery & Addison.

We love the grooming service they provide! Our 14 year old deaf shi itzu does great there. I highly recommend them!
