Honestly just confused about their set-up. There were 3 cars ahead of us and we ordered in the drive through and someone came and took our card for payment, no problem, we figured it would be quick at the window then. She comes back with our card and the two sundays…but we still are 3 cars deep and need to wait for our chicken strip box. The ice cream was melted by the time we got the chicken strips. Then we were even more disappointed when we open the chicken strip box. Barely any fries and the bread looked gross. I guess we won’t be returning. The wait was ridiculous.

My family and I stopped in for a frozen treat after a long drive from the Cities. The hours on the door stated that the store closed at 9:00. (We walked in at 8:38). I tried the side door, and it was locked, but we saw people inside eating and workers behind the counter. When we walked in, the blond curly haired employee asked, "Why does everyone have to come in twenty minutes before closing." I replied, because you close at 9:00." "Employee kid rudely said, well, I can serve you but..." We were shocked. Where I work, we close the door at 4:00, as our hours state. We didn't dare order from this 3 star Dairy Queen in fear he would tamper with our food. We left, went across to Holiday and four For'eal shakes instead. There was three employees there, it would've taken them a few minutes to complete our order. That'll be the last time I stop at that DQ, possibly all DQ chains.

Our family loves DQ. Tonight, this DQ fell very short. The wait was really long. Now maybe they were short staffed, I can’t say for sure since we took the drive through, but it took quite a long time. When we got our food, the first thing I noticed was the ice cream was melted, like it had been sitting there for about 5-10 minutes. The fries were lukewarm, and the gravy for our chicken was cold not room temp cold, refrigerated cold. Of course we were already on our way and were frustrated enough that we had to wait as long as we did, but thought it was very unusual for supper time at DQ. Very disappointed in this location.

I've been tp this location many times and have waited to review it , I have to only give it a 3 star, their food has always been hot and good, the I've cream I have gotten there is almost always a mess or melted or both. The staff are sometimes very friendly, and other times very unfriendly. I will probably stop again but only as a last choice .

Simply put, place needs new management/owners. Our recent experience - order wasn’t right, ice cream was basically water, and all the food was very cold. For whatever reason I keep going back to this DQ location and continue having subpar experiences. You’d think I’d learn. Do yourself a favor and skip this location.

Ice cream cone was half melted after waiting over 30 minutes being only the 4th car in line at the drive through.Should have cars move ahead and wait for their orders if it takes 15 minutes to make it for them.Slowest service I've encountered since drive through services became available.Disappointed.

I see a lot of negative reviews but dont know if they've turned it around or what as I had a fine experience. This location does have indoor seating and full grill menu, food was good. Recommended based on my experience with this one time visit

The Moose Lake DQ is a small town DQ with all the amenities of a Twin Cities location. The orders are always accurate and the high school workers are surprisingly friendly. I've never had a bad experience here, blizzards are always made to perfection. I know the bathroom is a little dated, but it's usually clean enough for 99.9% of people.Kid-friendliness: Standard kids menu like most DQs

We rolled in with our four hungry kids after a busy day of mountain biking in cold, windy, snowy conditions right as a young gentleman was getting ready to lock up the front door for the evening. He welcomed us in and we had great service. Our meals really the spot after being out in the cold all day. Thank you, Moose Lake DQ staff, for being so welcoming and awesome. Keep up the good work!

The food is as you would expect from any fast food place. The making of the ice cream could be better. I witnessed one worker making a blizzard for a drive-thru order when bits of ice cream fell from the cup and she put it back Into the cup. The surface it fell onto is "cleaned" with a dirty wet rag that she also wiped her fingers on. I would also like to mention that nobody was wearing gloves.

My husband and I were the first car in the drive thru, we waited longer then necessary to only be handed cold old food. I would understand if it was hot and fresh, with the long wait time, but I am confused on why and how we waited so long to be disappointed. We will not be going back...

Just paid over $5 for milk and cherries because the worker (dark haired male teenager) pretended he didn't notice the ice cream machine was out and pawned the changeout off on the next female employee who used it after him. Do not recommend.

I like this Dairy Queen. The staff are nice (shoutout to the guy who liked my Kirby shirt, you're awesome!) The food was good. I'll make sure to stop by when I go through Moose Lake.

Drive through took way longer than any drive through should. When ordering the girl kept interrupting to try and ask us which meal we were talking about before we could even get the order all the way out.When we received the food the chicken was extremely small. We got all six pieces but who wants to pay that amount for 6 pieces of chicken the size of popcorn chicken. I ordered ranch with the chicken and the ranch was ROTTEN like curdled and moldy.We went back through to complain about the ranch and all she did was apologize and tell us that it wasn’t bad it was just “mixed too thick” when there was clearly mold on it. Very disappointed and disgusted with my visit. I’ve lived in the Moose lake are for over half a year now and am no longer upset about the fact that was my first time visiting, as it will be my last.

I’ve been ordering the same treat from Dairy Queen for over 10 years. One of the best treats in the world is a cherry dilly bar dipped in chocolate and have ordered this from multiple locations all across the state. Yet Moose Lake appears to be on unable to do such a “complicated” request due to supposed cross-contamination.When I actually asked why, it was because supposedly there is nuts in the chocolate which could contaminate the cherry. Yet I wanted a cherry dipped in chocolate which crosses no cross-contamination.The reason for the really poor rating is it’s bad enough they can’t even do such a simple service.... you know, hey... customer Service is a thing.... Since I couldn’t get the treat I ordered and really wanted, I then ordered four dilly bars of chocolate and 2 butterscotch to go. When we get home, what we are 4 cherry and 2 butter scotch. It’s bad enough you can’t even serve your customers anything special much less, but you can’t even get a order right. Go somewhere else for your ice cream treats, this place is apparently not competent enough to handle a order a of six dilly bars and not screw it up.

My husband was just in line for thirty minutes. When he finally was ready to order they told him that he could only order one item per car. Seriously? Put up a sign before someone waits thirty minutes in line! One item per car?? He was ordering 4 blizzards for the family. Horrible customer service!!

The only good thing about this location is they have yet to mess my order up. Every time I am here the staff are like dealing with robots, not friendly at all, often rude. I have never been greeted or thanked and trying to make conversation doesn't work. They are often very slow as well. I just sat in line for 15+ minutes for a 5 buck lunch meal. I wont be back, done giving chances to rude workers for overly priced food

Food Was hot and fresh tasted great . Lobby was dirty not a clean table in the place almost every chair had salt dirt or garbage on it as well as the floor was covered in wrappers and fries etc.
