This is a good grocery store, people are always polite, willing to help, had good deals compared to some other more popular ones. I've always been able to find what I want and get out before I have to apply for an extra mortgage lol!

I had a hankerin' for some chili but I didn't want to do it from scratch. After help from Robert and another fellow whose name I did not get, I found several cans of chili. I purchased 4 different brands including WENDY's, Hormel & 2 others. The BEST BY FAR was Cash Wise brand. Wendy's was over $4 and it was not worth one dollar. So....don't be afraid to try name brands and pay a lot less!! Employees are ALWAYS nice at the Moorhead Cash Wise...A while back. I purchased medical items but lost the receipt I needed for my own records. The staff at Moorhead Cash Wise went ABOVE & BEYOND to search in their sales records to find that sale, rendering a duplicate receipt for me. Thank you, THANK YOU.

2.5 rating for me since I prefer to shop online. That said:Pros: In store shopping? The employees seem helpful and caring when you ask questions or need help finding something. They have a great selection and I like their fresh and gluten/dairy free choices.Cons: online shopping needs serious work. I usually shop online through Instacart at Hornbacher’s Azool or Target pickup. I tried using the Cash Wise online order pickup this weekend and I’ll never use it again. Despite saying yes to any replacements the shopper found suitable, the shopper didn’t choose any replacements for items they were out of. I would have taken replacements of other brands gladly. They also got the wrong size of cans, provided an 18 count egg carton with 5 broken eggs (shattered and sticky - so been broken a while) and charged me for one item I didn’t get at all. Zero communication until after you pickup and realize they didn’t choose replacements for out of stock items.The employee who helped me fix the issues at customer support was very kind and attentive. I shopped the replacements (easy alternatives found in store) and after 3 total visits for this order, left knowing I’ll never use their online shopping tool again. Will always opt for Instacart pickup at hornbachers. In store shopping at cash wise is fine but they need a better system, better communication, and better shoppers that have attention to detail.

At a time when grocery prices are going through the roof Cash Wise keeps it real. I walked out with more value and less cost than if I had gone to Walmart with all of it's craziness and drama. Cash Wise is the only place to shop...

Very recently I was in your store the young man at the checkout was very rude. Ryan was his name he did not bother to ask if there were 2 separate orders. When I pointed out that there were two orders he rolled his eyes and mumbled under his breath. If this is common practice at cash wise I for one will find some place else to buy my groceries.

Wide aisles. Good prices. Bag your own groceries. Ring up your own or have one of the many cashiers do it for you. The plastic bags are a bit larger and more durable/ tear resistant than the bags that other grocery stores such as Hornbacher's uses. The customer service desk offers a range of services, and most of the customer service reps are friendly and helpful. The deli is wonderful and the fruits and vegetables are high quality. The butcher shop is also excellent. High quality reasonably priced meats.

They easily have the best meat selection in town. Plus they seem to be one of the few places in town that carry the Cherry Dr. Pepper my mother in-law loves so much.

The prices were good. The reason I gave a 2 star is because we decided to get a few items and we got to the establishment 5 minutes to 10. I understand they close at 10 and workers are anxious to get home because I, having been in customer service, can understand what they were going thru but they don't have to be rude at closing time. We separated and ran around the store getting the items we needed. A worker stopped me as I got my last item and asked me to head to the checkout. I stated I was heading that way and looking for the person I came in with. She said she saw him up front so I proceeded to the checkout. As I approached the self checkout, a man, I'm assuming was in charge, began to rudely demand I go to the self checkout when I stated I was looking for the person I came in with. He then pretty much stated he didn't care and that I had to check out immediately because he was gonna close the till and had to do his updates. I started to check out and the person I was with came with his item. The whole time I was checking out the till kept saying assistance needed and I asked why. He said because they were now closed and the till was ready to shut down so if it did, I wouldn't be able to purchase my groceries. We checked out as fast as we could, bagged our items and left without so much as a "have a good night" or "thank you for shopping here".I looked at the receipt when we got home and it showed we checked out at 10:03 and we only had 19 items! It's not like we did major shopping and made them stay open for a long time.I usually don't write bad reviews but I felt like this had to be said. They didn't have to be rude and if they were any sort of customer service, they could have approached me differently by asking if I needed help finding something cuz they are now closed and must have everyone out of the store.People have bad days and I guess this was one for that store.

This store is a quick stop when needed. There's a bus stop close to the front door.The store was clean and shelves organized.Fresh fruit and vegetables could be inspected more. Wrinkled, bruised, or discolored fruits and vegetables I will not purchase. More discounted sales would bring customers into the store.

Used to like place. Won't go back again. They used to have St Louis style cooked ribs. Now got tough dry ones. But final straw was at 7:30 pm got whole cart of stuff. Checkout closes. The product has cost of cashier built in and they want me to do their job. You want to steal from me. I let them restock the stuff and walked out. Already more expensive than other stores now you want to rob me. Keep your overpriced stuff that quality went down at least on ribs.

I like the self check out lanes, but the customer service center isnt very convenient to use during peak hours. It is often then used only as a check out lane. If you only have a couple of items to purchase AND need to stop at the service counter... You will love it, otherwise I often find (no matter how many groceries I've bought and how long I had been in the store than the guy buying 2 bananas, the priority customer is the guy with 2 bananas standing in the customer service desk line.

This store has amazing fruits and veggies. By far the best I've tasted. Their meat selection is very good too. Would have been 5 stars just out bone in pork chops when I was there.

I really like this store. The service is pretty awesome. The store has a great selection of food. The grilled chicken from the deli is delicious! Fresh fruits and the atmosphere is good. Happy shopping.

I usually shop for groceries at Walmart but for things I forgotten get during a larger grocery runs, Cashwise is my go-to grocery store. Quality tends to be better than Walmart but pricier too.
