You are never open when I need you. Seriously. 430 on Saturday close? And not even open on Sunday? I mean, I guess it's improved on what you were doing a few months ago. Look, I know that you have issues retaining employees. But I think, no wait, I know, the management style has had a lot to do with that. Also, McDonald's is paying 18 an hour. You can't get by at 12 an hour anymore.

Service is hit or miss on how you get greeted. Same with how your sandwiches get made too. Sometimes my experience is great and same with my food, most other times it's like I'm a burden I even walked in the door. I love my sandwiches I get and so does my family, so we will continue to go there. Just sucks feeling like you shouldn't have walked in in the first place.

I used to work here from 2018 to 2021, during my days of high school. This was my first job, and most-definitely the one I will never forget. I made so many memories over the years, and had built multiple skills to help me improve in the workplace. Since I'm in college now, I sometimes visit for a time or two and get a sub -- just to see how things are there.Now it looks run-down and not up-to-date with other stores. This store has a staff shortage as well, so hours are cut significantly. There's no joy in this store anymore, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were to close soon. The only thing positive about it nowadays is the memories I made there.

I went through the drive thru today and ordered the sub series #8. When going through the screens, it preselected all the toppings for me according to their menu. (Except it did choose the wrong cheese, but I changed it on my own). When I got home and opened my sun there was only chicken and cheese on it. No other toppings that come with the #8. I drove back to the drive thru and went to the ordering screen first to make sure it wasn’t my mistake. I was right, it does preselect everything that goes on a #8 for you except for the correct cheese. I pulled forward and told the guy that made my sub that it had no toppings. He told me that my order slip had none on it but I explained what happened at the ordering screen. He apologized and made me a new one. He asked me what I wanted on it and I said the default toppings for a #8 and read the list off of the subway menu for him. When I got home it was still wrong. So, I called. I calmly explained everything and brought up that maybe there’s something wrong with their ordering board in the drive thru. I told her my sub did not have bacon, onions or the creamy garlic aioli on it. Her responses to me was that they were out of onions, that’s fine but would have appreciated that communication. She also said to me “Whatever!”. I told her I didn’t appreciate her attitude and would like a refund but I wasn’t going to drive there again. She said she could do a gift card for a 6” sub. I told her that I ordered a foot long and would like a full refund. She said they couldn’t that. I complained to guest services as well tonight as their employee was extremely unprofessional and rude. Their menu inside also states what comes on all their sub series subs. I understand that maybe if it was a new employee making my sub, they may not have everything memorized but it’s literally in writing on their menu. I kept both subs in my fridge as I will be bringing them back on Monday when hopefully better management is in.

So my mother lives in Monte (I used to and used to work there many years ago) and I’m making this review because business advice is always needed for failing companies. Montevideo is one of the few subway locations that has a drive through and this by itself especially after COVID is a huge asset that apparently is being limited or shut down to make people walk in. My mother that is on her feet 8-10 hours a day does not want to walk into your store to get her food at the end of the day which i feel is completely reasonable. In the city if anything I shut down it’s the restaurant not the drive thru and THIS WORKS. Now the second problem apparently the complaint is they don’t have the drive thru open because of lack of employees… let’s talk about you not paying them the now minimum wage in Minnesota and then expecting to have loyal employees. If you want business you need workers, If you want to loose this franchise you are on the fast route of doing that by not paying your employees a fair wage which is why they don’t want to work there when Mc Donald’s or Walmart is provided a still barely livable but a lot better than 13 an hour wage. It’s clear that the person that owns this location is older and needs to learn how business works. If you want to not go under… do one of the 2 solutions I suggested if you do then that really sucks for those that are trying to have a healthier lifestyle.

Visited a few days ago while visiting from Knoxville, Tennessee - this Subway was leaps and bounds better than any we have back home. They weren't stingy with toppings and it all tasted great. The teenager was really nice who fixed our food.

I stopped by to pick up my child from work. She is only 15 and is NOT allowed to touch the toasting oven. The new employee immediately started yelling at her in front of employee because the customer did not want it toasted. It was not the 15 yr old that put it in so there was ABSOLUTELY zero reason for the new employee to yell at her, especially in front of customer. This location is in Montevideo, MN. I am furious with this employee and he unprofessional behavior. If this is not solved, I will take further actions through Corporate.

Ordered at the kiosk today since their system was down for online. No problem with that it happens. But I get my sandwich and it has nothing I ordered on it. Not even half of what comes on the basic sandwich is there. Not only that but it was not cut in half but folded… like really?? Not impressed today at all

It was the 3rd day on a row that the ladies at the counter had an unpleasant attitude. I have said HI, (smiling) only to be ignored or They had been making our sandwiches very lacking and practically with a bad attitude. I understand you don't have to be rainbows and sunshine every day because we are all humans after all BUT Customer Service matters, the way you take care of the people that keep your business open so you can have a job MATTER.There are a few young kids that work there and they were very nice to my husband and myself...unfortunately we have not seen them there anymore and honestly the service the people there now offer is VERY LACKING to say the least.BRINGVTHE HAPPY PEOPLE BACK!!!!!!

The lady there was super friendly on a Saturday afternoon. She had just started her 4 o'clock shift. The sandwich she made was absolutely terrific!! I love the selection of sauces, and the vegetables were very crisp and fresh. This is a marvelous Subway location. Kudos to the lady who served me.

Worst experience! If I could give 0 stars I would!! I did a mobile order at work for me and two coworkers they put all subs mashed together in one bag with meatball sub marinara all over. The subs were all wet and they didn't even have correct sub bread or toppings. The paper on meatball sub was stuck to inside of sub and in chunks. I called and asked for a manager and the lady who answered phone said he wants a manager then there was someone talking and they said oh sorry they are not here. I don't believe them because last time they gave me same line then eventually got manager.They are the biggest joke of a business they need to be dropped from subway franchise.

The worker was slow making 2 orders, the pop tasted nasty and instead of a 6 inch and a 12 inch sandwich we got 2 12 inch. Certain employees have slowed down with their service. Others are really good.

Has GF bread. Food was good. Didn't have much interaction with staff. The one thing that really bothered me was the changing table is outside of the bathrooms. So anyone that is going into the men & women bathroom sees baby's bum. Plus a tight fit so women bump into you to get into the bathroom.

placed an order online. they were cordial and polite. gave us all the sanwiches we orderded. we had to inquire as to the drink and chip options we orded with our meals. and we had to ask about napkins!! now i would have given more stars based on that alone but i came back inside after eating to suggest they put a trash can outside. and they just waved and walked into the back room instead of letting me engage them in conversation.

Very good sub/steak@cheese. I was there about 1:30pm 6-14-20. The gentleman who handed me my sandwich was very nice and gave my dog a treat! Great service

They didn't have white bread (but the person behind me got white bread). Hardly put anything on the thing and guacamole is extra so they think it's a good idea to give me a tablespoon. Hardly any chip selection either.

was charged for a meal deal.did not receive napkins or the 21 ounce cup for the drink I was charged for. the meat that was put on my wimpy salad did not equal the meat on a 6 inch sub.Get it together subway.The young boy at the counter that I spoke to about all of this lacked enthusiasm and was not helpful at all.

The guy that waited on us was very nice. This Subway does not have wraps or the Caesar dressing, which are two of my favorites. I got the flatbread and did not like it. This Subway doesn't seem to be up to date with others.

This is a good subway. The manager there is very friendly. I actually left my backpack there once and he tracked me down on facebook and messaged me that I left it like 20 mins later. It's mostly employed by high school students, and often times everyone knows everyone. I've been to a lot of subways before that are half-assed, and this isn't one of them. They do everything they're supposed to do, and the right way. Very speedy too!

The food was ok but the service was horrible I mean we get there and the two male boys working there didnt want to help the poor girl even with a line and when one of them finally got up to help he messed up my wife's order. You have one job dude she said spinach not lettuce c'mon

Food was fine. I do have comment about the tp dispenser in the men's room.. Who mounts these things. This one is too low for a pigmy, much less a full size Minnesotan! First time commenter on this subject. Pesky pet peeve!

There aren't a lot of options in Montevideo for food. Even less so if you're looking for something to eat on the go. We stopped in to Subway for two foot-long black forest ham subs. The employee, Ayla, was friendly and made them exactly as we liked them - toasted, with provolone, and all the veggie and herb toppings that we like. She also filled three water glasses for us, and we were on our way. We were all very pleased with the sandwiches and the friendly service. This location also has a drive-thru.

Slow service through drive through. Didnt have order right. And didnt even cut the pizza. Wont go back for a while. Food taste fine.
