Thank you to Doug at the Minnetonka location who guided me (older female) on how to fix my broken toilet, including tips like using a hairdryer to make the flapper connectors more pliable, which saved me from damaging the hooks. This saved me big $ from not having to call a plumber. Thank you for the superior service and also for the confidence building that I could do this on my own. Very happy customer!

Great folks here. I arrived at night parked in their lot. In the morning docked against their “Dockzilla” where they forklifted product out. It was a little tight with my full size truck but manageable. Unloaded quickly and on my way.

Shopped with a friend at her favorite hardware store. She needed a furnace filter. Me? I only grabbed some of those famous jelly beans in citrus and fruit flavors near the checkout. The staff always greets you upon entering and asks if they can help. Yes! Now that's a true hardware store.

Excellent customer service. The manager (I believe) went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. He even installed the new screws for my license plate and made sure everything fit right. I will definitely be returning for any future needs!

Great place to work, managers are personable and A-Tier. Co-Workers are great people to be around, work load is pretty manageable and the selection of items is huge. Prices are a little bit higher at this store, but you’re supporting local! Last thing, if you want to know if they have something in store, call them, online inventory can be weird (wouldn’t be saying this if it didn’t happen probably dozens if not hundreds of times lol)

Good place to get hardware or other outdoor stuff if you’re in a hurry but the stuff is always like 50% more expensive. Propane filling service is great.

Have been a customer 16 years, more so since the Glen Lake Kramer’s closes.What makes Frattalone’s unique is the wide range of stuff they sell. Today, while stopping by hoping they carry a 3 5/8” hole drill (they do) and marine grade sealant, I was surprised to find a marine section. Next to that is a trailer and hitch section. On the way out of there I found a Pinewood Derby section. Really. A little ways down I found tarp clips I have been meaning to get. The only thing I could not find is a large plank of unfinished teak, but no hardware store has any that I am aware of.they also carry many sizes of stainless screws I need to reattach all my boat teak. That is another really important offering of any small hardware store: buying screws and bolts by the piece. They have it all, including bulk. I have tons of their stuff at home.Prices are $2-3 more than say Amazon, but the same product. The drill part is $3 less on Amazon, but I need it now. The sealant is $2 less on Amazon, but that is not the kind of savings I care about, so I bought it. The tarp clips, however, are $5 less than Amazon. Go figure.They also carry those yellow handled, white blade snow pushers you see used all over town by area businesses. I got the biggest they carry, four feet, $80 maybe, a few years ago, and I swear by it. I have not used my snow blower since.There is a lot more to like about this place. Employees always ask me if I need help. They make a store-wide call on the radio to find answers they do not know (two days ago it was where the firewood is).I also love that they hire high school kids that have included two Eagle Scouts from my son’s old troop.So service, variety, size, availability and uniqueness, all five stars.

Purchased trees last October 5th-Hauled them home, planted them, they didn’t survive the winter-I was told all needed was the receipt and tags to get refunded for the dead trees- I dug them up, put them back in the original planters-Asked to bring photos of dead trees-NOPE! I had to load the dead trees up-A difficult task, for anyone/They get reimbursed from the supplier-I do not believe for a nanosecond that they SHIP dead trees back-It was a ton of back breaking work-The Manager Sandy is rude-From other reviews it appears ageism is common practice here-I will never purchase anything here again, not with Sandy managing the Minnetonka location-

If you need plants or silly little gadgets they have plenty. But if you NEED three 3/4" PVC elbows don't bother because they only have ONE!!!! and a 4oz bottle of PVC cement is $5.99. You can buy it at Menards or Home Depot for $2.49 and they have the fittings in stock.

I love this local business! Every once in awhile, my family will need something for our yard, and this location doesn’t disappoint! The workers are friendly and love to help, and the store has plenty of items and brands to choose from. This location also has a green house with plants, so if you want a house or backyard plant, this location is where to buy. I love Frattallone’s and I definitely will be coming back!

Called to ask I they they had and could put a specific spark plug aside. That I would be in within an hour on a Saturday evening to purcgase that and other items. The clerk was to busy to put one aside.

There to get some stuff for my job and they had it and they made finding it extremely easier because their salesperson on the floor was eager to help and ask me what I was trying to do and I told him and he was able to point out exactly what I needed and get me out of the store and back in my project I couldn't ask for a simpler process.Thank you guys for staying local and helping the community so good. Won't be back..I work with one of the assisted senior living facility's in the area. Brought a key blank and a key to be be cut.. was told he wouldn't cut my blank. That's fine I spent alot of money with you guys. You just lost our business.

Every time I walk in the staff is there to immediately assist me with anything I need, or whatever I'm looking for. Wonderful friendly environment that usually carries everything you need, including what the big box stores leave out.

I was shopping around for garden supplies when a female employee gave me wonderful knowledge on how to go about my garden. She even gave me a rough estimate using prices fork other stores. The employees are great and eager to assist in any way!o

An employee helped me find the correct size bolt that I was sure they wouldn't have but was taking a shot since I exhausted all other places. He was very knowledgeable and surprised me in how well he knew exactly what I needed and where to find it. I'll be coming back here alot more

The worst Ace Harware I have ever walked into. Not one person seemed interested to help me. Had to ask where plumbing was a person "hum...this way." Walked to the area and left. I looked around and around. A lady was stocking shelves in plain sight of me...when I looked her to ask a question she turned away to go to another place. I bought what I thought was right (it wasn't). The cashier was nice but didn't ask about my visit. I taught Customer Service for 20+ years! I am really hoping management reads this review. I will try them one more time in the future.... but that will be a long time coming.

The kids they hire here are clueless & unhelpful. I frequented this store at least 3 times per week until one of the kids, who couldn’t help me, said he would find someone who could help me (to cut chain). 5 minutes later, the kid is still screwing around, not finding help for me. Finally get an experienced employee to help. Go to check out & they won’t take cash! Last time in this store. Ever.

I have always gone to the big box stores but recently I took on a plumbing project at home and we all know how that goes... I decided to stop in a Fratts because it was close by and I was tired of running across town to the Depot and I can never find anyone to help me when I go there...I went in to Fratts and was impressed by how big it was and that they literally have...Everything!! And how neat and organized it was...I just looked down every isle checking it out and I was probably asked by 5 different friendly staff if I needed help!!! Then when I asked a question, they new exactly what I was talking about and made suggestions and found me what I needed. Since then my husband and I have been there 3 more times for different projects and the more than knowledgeable staff helped us out of a jam again!! We both said we will always come here first from now on. Glad I found this place. And they litterally have every cleaning supply you need!...And they carry the dog food brand a buy!! Very impressed! Sorry for the lengthy review...but I had a lot to say.

This is the kind of neighborhood hardware store that you're always hoping for – quality brands, good selection, and more of those specialized items than you'll find at the big box stores. During Father's Day weekend, they were nice enough to hold a bag of wood chips I desperately needed for smoking brisket. And, I walked out with a new set of Crescent brand wrenches.

This is a nice local hardware store. They have pretty good clearance prices on starter garden plants when it is that time of the year.
