I promise I thought about and tried to take pics of the amazing sushi and spring rolls we had -but they were SO GOOD AND SO FRESH we inhaled them.Had the clear-wrapped spring rolls with cooked shrimp and crab with cucumber, lettuce and veggies. Came with a sauce that was great. Really refreshing! Sustaining. There were two rolls, each about 41/2 in long, sliced. $7.25 ✅WTPThen we ordered the tuna /crab crunchy roll. It had an excellent crunchy mix across the top, and it was so fresh it just melted in your mouth! Added to that some wasabi sauce, soy and ginger***—- 😁😁😁 $11.25 ✅WTPIt was excellent and I’ll be darn sure to stop at Cub at 101 & 7 & also 101 & 41 - who’d have thought they’d have such great sushi 🍣!!!!**Added pic of our choice of condiments when we have sushi.>>>. They do a nice job of keeping the shelves stocked. Can even get toilet paper 90% of the time (Covid-19 world).Nice deli and hot food bar. They'll cook you something fresh upon request. They've ordered special items to have in-stock for me, items they normally don't carry.

Amazing food from the deli (dollar buns/veggie tray/fruit tray)! So beautifully done!Amazing sheet cake from bakery!Fabulous balloon arrangement!Customer service was stellar, things ready on time, reasonably priced and I would recommend this store anytime!!Thankyou for making my party a success!

Self check out has increased from 4 stations to eight stations and all are credit card only. If you are paying cash plan on waiting in a long line to get to a real person to check you out. You would think they could open each of self check outs to many forms of payment including American cash! to get us out of the store quicker! I hope this check out system is changed otherwise I will be shopping at other stores nearby.

Needs staffing. Always bare with long lines. Store is clean and seems well stocked but it's frustrating because often there are only one or two registers open so you are forced to stand in the extensive self checkout lines.

Today in a meat/fish department I asked about availability of some items. Instead of just informing me about availability the employee started long story about another people asking about the same items: "Another Russian woman asked me already today about that....". Why do I need to know that? Yes, I have accent, NO I'm NOT Russian. What is a connection between me, my accents, some unknown woman and fish?! Can I get a simply respond for my question? Advice: never ask about anything in this department, because NOTHING is available beside items in fridges in the supermarket. There are hundreds items, nobody would check for you if something is available, it's always NO without even checking. Nobody went for me "above and beyond" to help find some items, I waited long time near the weight station for that strange story about another customer, I was there alone, no line. Employee was just ignoring me.

Bad Experience Take 2!The first Experience was so horrible the manager called me and sent me gift card. It was a Friday night at 6pm and they were not making more friend chicken.Take 2!I called the store and asked how late they have chicken. The girl didn't know and conveniently hung up on me when trying to transfer me back to Deli. I called Chanhassen and asked for the deli. I asked how late you could come in for a 8pc meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. She said 8pm.With it being closer to where we were, we stopped in Minnetonka at 715pm. On a Friday night. There was no sides and all they had left was chicken. Everything else was shut down. It's sad because me and my boyfriend really like this store better than Chanhassen but it's pointless to shop here.Customer lost again! Worst Deli ever!!!

Cub foods is great & is similar to Walmart, Lunds, Lidl, Whole Foods, Hyvee & Fresh Thyme. Need food to sustain the factory life of a pallet jack operator for PFGC. Restrooms work as they’re supposed to. I’m out of the loop as far as grocery goes but it seems good enough. As a side note, Jackson Hewitt did my taxes this year. There isn’t any “I scream” effect to visiting cub as there is when shopping at Target. In any case, Cub has everything folks need

Nice location and super friendly employees. Too bad there isn't more of them. Today was the 3rd time recently when the store has been loaded with people and only a few checkout lanes open. It's a hassle, makes all the customers around me understandably crabby and rude. Get it together Cub Minnetonka. Have been stopping here for decades and it's never been this much of a headache checking out.

IMHO, this is the best Cub in the twin cities. The store is always clean, employees friendly and always a good amount of inventory. I had an issue from an item in the meat dept. and Jeff went above and beyond to make it right. I've been a loyal customer at this Cub for 6 years and kick myself for not writing a review about this awesome establishment. Honestly, Dodi, Matt, and Jeff.. (I wish I knew more names) you are some of the fine people that go out of your way to make somebody's day so much brighter. That reminds me, the pharmacy here, at this Cub is outstanding. Switching from Target/CVS was a a good thing. Thank you Cub for practicing the golden rule on your customers.

Great location to shop for all your groceries. The staff are always very friendly and helpful in whatever you need. The store is always stocked and organized. The produce quality was greatly improved by adding in brand new coolers for the fresh produce. The deli and meat department are always glad to help and are always willing to share cooking ideas👍👍👍

I have been shopping here for 23 years I can’t believe I have not left a review yet. First off, the staff for all 23 years has been incredible! In addition the Cub Foods leadership team has been involved with the community for a long time. Pricing is good and the staff is great! Give this location a try… It will not disappoint!

I typically don't shop at this location since it's not as close to home, but I was passing by last night and needed to stop, it was on the way so I ran in quick to get what I needed. The shelves were very well stocked despite a pandemic and the check out clerk I had was incredible. She was an older woman, cant remember her name, but she was quick, efficient, friendly and not letting the new way of ringing people up let her dow . I would come back simply for the interaction I had with her, we need more customer service helpers like her!

Self checkout's are closed in the mornings so you have to wait in a huge line because there is 1 register open. Cashiers are forced to do other tasks so when there is no line you are waiting for the cashier to come back from where ever they are to get help. This is already like a Jr. Cub. Just open the self checkouts so customers aren't forced to deal with the lack of help and service.

First, I will say I prefer shopping at Cub Foods over any other grocery store or store with a grocery section.Even 2 years ago I would have given Cub at Hwy 7 & Cry Rd 101 5 stars. But there has been changes in the overall store. However the biggest is the new hours from open 24 hrs (except certain holidays) to only 5 AM to 11 PM. Why 11 & not 12 is a mystery when so many people get off work @ 11.Then, one set of doors are locked 2 hours before closing (used to lock them overnight also). But the 2nd set of doors only open automatically for those Leaving The Store. So, the disabled have to enter thru a set of single doors that open manually. What's up with that?My biggest complaint is the Organic Produce. Haughty ad boasts about their great produce but they're obviously only talking about the Conventional kind. More often than not I end up not buying any because of the condition & I don't mean bruises, of the Produce.Another issue I have is when items plainly tagged on sale aren't in system & I don't catch it while ringing up. I've started taking photos of items & their sale tags while shopping so if it rings up wrong, I can show the Cashier. Or, after, go to Customer Service for correcting.The newest frustration is the dropping of (to me) main label items basically to make room for more junk food.To be fair since I did give 4 stars, I will add a few positives. 1 is the place is clean & bright & aisles are easy to get 2 if not 3 carts through if 1 is a small one. Which is #2. The small carts. For #3 I put the employees; cashiers, counter help and floor crew. They're friendly & courteous for the most part especially the long timers. Some of the managers are really nice & helpful. They have gone out of their way to help me a couple times that was much appreciated.

I am updating this review based on conversation with the store manager. We received a call from the store Manager. The situation was dealt with to our satisfaction, and we will continue to shop this store knowing that our service pet is welcome...We have been using this Cub store for several years. My wife has a service dog and we have never had a problem until now. A new lady was appointed shift manager and told my wife that she could not bring her service dog into the store without his vest. Pure BS. She was presented with her ADA card and said too bad. She was a mgr now and they are not welcome. This is forbidden by the Americans Wirh Disabilities Ac . The animal is not required to have a vest. We know the law well. She said it was Cub policy. I confirmed that it was not. I will see that not only does this store apologize, but this lady will get diversity training.

This is the best grocery store in the area. This cub is privately owned and is by far superior to Cub's corporate locations. They have the best produce department which blows even Bylerys & Lunds out of the water. They have a nice selection of fresh fish & seafood along with very good cuts of meat with great pricing and weekly specials. I drive an extra 5 miles weekly to shop at this location as the others in the area are corporate run with less selection.. The employees really make an extra effort to help customers. Keep up the good work! Oh geez...I almost forgot to mention that the pharmacy service is exceptional too!

A surprisingly awesome selection from anchovy paste to frozen escargot! This is a wonderful gem in Minnetonka. I’ve even had the butcher order me a pork belly! I could spend hours in each isle looking at all of the different items.If your a foodie, you would be surprised what you can actually find at this specific Cub.

I take my sister there weekly. She and my other sister shop there regularly and have for many years. This is new to me and I notice the store has a very large selection of items and fresh meats and good looking produce.

My wife bought two pounds of salmon from this location as a surprise for dinner. We went to cut the filet into servings and found out that the entire filet was not descaled and was not deboned. Disappointing. I don't want to pay a premium to have to work for an hour in my own kitchen.Be sure to double check that any filet you purchase are deboned and descaled.

Went here for the first time tonight and had the worst customer service experience in the cashier line. Our cashier was so unfriendly and it seemed like she just did not want to be there. Very very snippy and rude. I believe her name was Alyssa. Hopefully she has better days ahead!

Be sure to check the dates of your food! This store sells rancid products that are long expired. Recently purchased some items with chicken that had expired more than a month ago and was putrid.

Every store has its ups and downs but I've generally been very pleased with the service and products at this store. While I agree in principle to the comment about the apples, you can have your kids not eat them if organic is your (smart) choice. One can take the conventional apples into the rest room and wash them in the sink to remove the sticker and handling contamination. They also have free cookies for kids in the bakery and free coffee for adults by the deli counter. I think that's nice even though one could make a similar argument about sugar or caffeine. This Cub branch is very generous in lending their community room at no cost to local groups and are great community citizens in supporting service and kids' organizations with fundraising. Thanks, Cub!

This is our main grocery store - partially because it is close. They have everything we need at reasonable prices. Most employees are pleasant, and they're open 24/7. Meat could be better.
