I love visiting this location because the store is so clean and well-organized. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by the employees. The people who work here go over and above.For example, as I was entering, an employee was walking a customer and her dog to their car while holding a heavy 40 pound bag of dog food and a large umbrella. He held the door open for them and walked alongside of them holding the umbrella over their heads.He offered to put the umbrella over our heads too and open the door for us, but I felt bad for him standing in the rain, so I tried to insist he just take care of himself first.Inside, they were doing some event for their birthday, so they had free samples of dog treats and dog ice cream and were giving them away quite freely. They had a table set up with lemonade, fruit, and donuts for the humans.

Rachel the assistant manager totally helped me out with our brand new Frenchie, giving me the right Pee pads and giving me some tips about potty training. Definitely worth coming here over Amazon.

I have been shopping at this store since it opened. We have three large dogs so we go thru a lot of food. When Katie was the manager shopping at the store was an amazing experience. After she left, the service was noticeably much worse. Stacks of merchandise everywhere, food always still in the back not on the shelves etc. I get it, it’s hard to find employees, especially in this area. Since Ken has been the manger things have really improved. Shelves are stocked, store is clean and employees are noticeably more helpful than they have been. Thanks Ken for your improvements to the store - hope you find more good employees to add to your crew! So glad that I can continue to shop here - I was very close to leaving.

Love this store! I just started shopping here recently and I’m so impressed with their customer service! Rachel, Brian , and Kelly helped me today. I was looking to upgrade my dog’s diet because she’s getting older and I want to make sure she’s getting the right nutrition. I was so overwhelmed by the choices, but they helped me settle on a high quality kibble and some raw food the put on top to boost up the nutrition and flavor. I gave my dog a taste of the raw food and she went nuts for it! So happy they suggested it! These guys/ladies are real professionals with good knowledge and they were real sweet to my dog, Ella, who was with me.

I have been going to this Chuck & Don's for alittle over a year. I have loved it up until mylast visit. I spoke with the new store managerKen about switching food for my three catsthat are very sensitive to new things. Everybrand that I asked about he spoke down onme in a very condescending tone because itwasn't a brand that he liked. However, thisseemed to be for just about every brand in thestore. He talked to me as if I didn't even knowanything and acted like I didn't even belongowning an animal. From what I noticed healso seemed to be talking this way to theother employees in the store as well. As asmall business owner myself I do not toleratethis kind of behavior at all and will be taking my business elsewhere as long as he is stillworking there.+ Add photos

I find Chuck & Dons to be the best pet store for reliable, accurate information. I used to shop at Maple Grove location until the Manger Ken moved to Minnetonka so now I go there! Ken is always friendly, helpful and has great suggestions! My dog isn’t a people person but he loves Ken!

my dog wouldn't eat the fromm kibble brand. Easy exchange. The cashier was so friendly and helpful she suggested purina pro and my absolutely love it. I'm so glad stores still have employees that actually love and do there job

I've been going to our local store for our cat food/litter for 5 years now and I love it! They have a great selection of wet cat foods and cat treats. Rachel is always happy to help and is very knowledgeable about cat care. I specifically appreciated her help today with suggesting a new food regimen for my picky (and possibly acid reflux having) cat. Keep up the great work! :)

I will say that we have used Chuck and Don's for several years. We usually use the one in Maple Grove but now that our most favorite manager Ken has moved to Minnetonka, we will go there. Ken has helped us through many changes that our dog has gone through and love his knowledge and helpfulness. Chuck and Don's is very lucky to have him.

I have always been pleased with this store. Today a gentleman went the extra mile and offered to order my cat’s favorite food as they no longer carry it at this location.This is the kind of customer service that is all too rare these days.Greatly appreciated.
