Treated horrible by pharmacy staff. Will no longer go to pharmacy after being told I need to contact my physician when I’m showing them I have 3 refill’s available. Tech didn’t care. Thanks for not helping me at all. This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst at problem solving. Don’t even get me started on trying to get a hold of them via phone. You just have to wait in a 45 min line like everyone else to be told you have no refills even tho according to Dr I do.Horrible pharmacy.

The renovation completed in late March 2021 made it feel I was in a different part of the state. People will love and enjoy returning as well. I appreciate all the people who played a role in remodeling it and making it a great amenity to a community that property values has shot up.

You’ll find this place, like most Walgreens, highly understaffed, or just not staffed at all (see below). You’ll have a better chance waiting in purgatory than this modern day hell on earth. I would rather get the flu than deal with a “quick and free flu shot” again.

In regards to the pharmacy. I was sick and needed a strep test. Being in Minneapolis I did a lot of research on line and found that I could use the walk-in clinic at Walgreen for strep testing as well as COVID-19. When I got to Walgreens there were multiple long lines I noticed two pharmacists standing there without a line and I simply wanted to ask if they did the testing so that I could get into the line if that was the case. I was barked at by the female pharmacist saying that I was completely rude. When I did get a response I was told that they did not offer any testing even though there was large posters on the wall advertising such services and was insured by the website that I could be tested there as well. If you're going to get a test and antibiotics quickly you're better off sitting at the ER at least that was the case in my situation. Lesson learned.

Horrible pharmacy… Incorrectly filled multiple prescriptions causing insurance mayhem, randomly closed without warning, can never reach them on the phone as a customer or a provider. My doctor has asked me to choose a different pharmacy. Honestly they should be sued for how they mishandle prescriptions as a pharmacy.

100% not the employees fault, every time I come here they are battling the computers trying their best, two visits and I’ve watched them battle an outdated computer system. Still I’m never going to use them again.

Terrible pharmacy - I live 2 blocks away and will be taking my business elsewhere. They are impossible to reach on the phone, with on-hold times over an hour, their automated system is often inaccurate on the status of orders, their employees are often incorrect on the status of orders and at just all around unprofessional.Even my Doctor has said they cringe when someone puts a request in for this location.

Do not use this pharmacy if you are on medications you are not supposed to go off of-they do not care.Even if you are patient and kind with the staff they are obviously so understaffed and disorganized. It's like a bother to them if you are trying to ask any questions or get down to the bottom of anything that is happening with you medications. Definitely some of the more dehumanizing experiences I've had in customer service.

Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone at the pharmacy, expect to be on hold for hours while the repetitive message tells you that they are busy on another call and will be with you shortly. I can tell you for a fact, they are not in another call and will not be with you shortly, what an absolute joke. Always understaffed and struggling, you can tell corporate does not care one bit and actually seems to set them up for failure.

Called to get prescription refilled, after being on hold for 30 min the ultra repetitive hold message said I was next in line. Now I've been waiting 2 hours on hold, no one has picked up. Clearly Walgreens needs to cut the pay of it's executives so it can afford to pay its workers enough so they aren't so chronically understaffed.

there was one or two people that was working there. i was dissatisfied with one of the people that worked there( he didn't talk at all even when i asked him a question). also the bathrooms where locked so i couldn't use them

unbelievable- pharmacy closed when arrived even through sign on front door and pharmacy said it should be open! the store was not clean, many many things locked but yet no employees to help, the manager quityet the temp pharmacist was very nice as was the only other employee in the pharmacy departmentalso hard to check out due to lack of employees

We’ve been going to the Walgreens pharmacy at 4323 Chicago Ave for years. We’ve considered switching a number of times for various reasons (including going to a Walgreens closer to where we live), but we stay at this one because of pharmacy tech Dan. He has provided consistently fantastic service over the years, making sure we get what we need in a timely manner and at the best price. He’s friendly and super helpful, and can often answer questions or figure out things that others can’t figure out. Thanks for your 5-star service, Dan!

Terrible experience! This is one of those locations where they have to keep even toilet paper behind the counter because people will steal it. So then I ask the first visible stock person and they tell me to ask at the front counter. So I asked at the front counter and they tell me to ask another third person, a stock person, who's over in the area. So I asked that guy and he has no idea what to do. So he asked me if I would like him to ask a manager, and I reply yes please ask a manager, I'm kind of tired of wasting time! So finally he goes into the back of the store to ask a manager only to come out and tell me they don't have anything available but what's on the shelf. What is wrong with this store?! Don't they train these people? Overall this is a terrible experience and if I have my choice I'm never ever coming back to this store again!

Walked out because of very long line wait. There were two cashiers however both customers had issues and the cashiers should have asked them to wait while ringing up the other customers. Waited 20 minutes before walking out. One of the cashiers seemed new and I felt bad for them but the wait was ridiculous

Do not get your prescriptions filled here. It is awful and after dealing with them for long enough I will never return. Multiple times they have cancelled my prescription and put it back on the shelf after only a few days, and when I call to ask why they did that when the window for pick up is supposed to be 10 days, they just say they don't know. Multiple times the pharmacy is marked as "temporarily closed" randomly when I need to pick up medication, they also shortened their hours so they are open until only 6pm, which initially they did without posting it online, and in general this makes it hard to get there in time after leaving work in the evening. Also, any time you need to call to ask a question you can expect to be on hold for at least 45 minutes, regardless of what time of day it is.

This is the worst Walgreens for pharmacy. When I try to get certain prescriptions filled like testosterone or the needles I need for that, it holds up all my other meds. When I try to call I am on hold for over an hour and the “two callers ahead of you” never changes so that tells me they do not answer the phone. And it’s been the last couple of months when I call. Not just once. The customer service at the pharmacy is the worst—one time when they couldn’t figure out a simple needle/syringe prescription, they threw the needles at my wife.I cannot express how hellish this place is. It’s sad because it’s the closest to my house but I will be switching pharmacies, maybe switching from Walgreens entirely.TLDR:WORST WALGREENS PHARMACY!! There is always a line, that moves really slow. Staff is not kind. They don’t answer phones, ever. Transgender healthcare deficient.

It's a convenient place to go if you're not in the mood for going to further out stores. For example if you're out of coffee it's convenient to just go here rather than a big store. The pharmacy line to pick up meds is a nightmare. If you think it's a quick trip it's more often than not. Sometimes the front checkout can be a wait but most often there will be another cashier helping. Sometimes the items you're looking for can be out of stock. But like I said it's convenient for the most part.

This pharmacy on 43rd and Chicago is the worst..... They do not answer phones and you will wait in line for your meds. If, IF they have them ready for you even when they call or message you saying that they are ready for pick up.This place is the worst...

I've used this pharmacy for years and it's usually pretty good. Dan the pharmacy tech is wonderful--polite, helpful, friendly, and very patient. Most of the other pharmacy staff seems indifferent and quite disorganized. I often consider transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy but haven't just because this one is easy to get to from where I live. Biggest area that needs improvement is that the pharmacy always seems understaffed and overworked. Be prepared for a fairly significant wait to get your prescription.

I rely on Walgreens Pharmacy, in particular, because of its convenient location; they offer home delivery from the (physical) store/through the mail; in the twelve years (approximately) that I have patronized Walgreens there have been maybe 3 errors regarding my prescriptions, very efficient -- the pharmacy personnel are friendly, and really seem to care... Switched from Walmart Pharmacy years (12) ago; the personnel there were uncaring, and even dismissive at times, even when *they* were the cause of a mistake; the lines would be extremely long and the personnel would work at a snail's pace -- although not perfect either, Walgreens has been a refreshing alternative...

they treat their workers like slaves, they dont play their workers well, dont compensate them on time, therefore the customer and work experince is awful and chaotic.
