Our absolute favorite pet store. The best employees, best selection, and very very fair prices! Also- our friends at Urban Tails are always happy to say hello to our pups and get to know them, which makes our hearts happy. It can feel defeating to find welcoming stores for our muzzled pup to come along to, but Urban Tails has always been the most welcoming and happy place. The products here are super high quality and the prices are comparable to most other retailers. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. I’m doing an elimination diet with my cat, and they helped me find rabbit only foods. I recently got sick and ordered local delivery, and they left me this lovely note. They also have adorable shop cats. Totally recommend if you need specialty, raw, or higher quality foods in the metro area. Their selection of supplies is a little limited, but the food section is awesome.

Hands down the best pet supply store in Minnesota! I don’t live in the cities, but I always make a point to stop in when I’m in the area. Their selection of refrigerated pet food is awesome! My dog recently got spayed, and I stopped in to stock up on lick mats/enrichment for her to keep her occupied while on rest. They had so many types of mats, bowls, and toys to choose from, so we went ahead and got a good variety for her. Plus the folks who work here are the best (: 10/10 would recommend this shop to any and everyone!

Very cute little store with nice products. If you're looking for a bargain, stick with Target or Walmart. The prices here are a bit high for my current budget but the convenience of being local makes this place a nice store to shop. I really like the idea of supporting local stores and the staff were very courteous and kind to us. Urban Tails pet supply does allow animals within the store and we got to meet a couple puppies and by puppies I mean big giant dogs taller than my waist. The food here was quite bourgeois but I was still definitely recommend coming here. I had a great time shopping for my brand new kittens and my best friend there with me.

The best place to buy pet supplies. I get a deal on canned food when I go there to shop but when I order delivery on a recurring order I also get a discount! Family owned and it really shows in the personable customer service and quality options. I’ll never go anywhere else!

I’ve never been to a pet supply store with so much selection! I had a great time browsing and picking items out for my pets. The staff were also so friendly and helpful while I was there. And the shop cats were very friendly and possibly my favorite part! I definitely recommend!

If you live in uptown or Whittier and have a pet, shop locally at Urban Tails Pet Supply! They have a wide variety of products and truly enthusiastic and helpful staff. Bunny lady is a joy to talk with! I’ve learned more about how to take care of my rabbit from her than I could from any old pet blog. Love it here!!

So happy to have a great pet store that's local! I can walk down and get a bag of cat food the day I need it.When we started shopping here the staff gave me great advice on switching catfood brands, and they even started carrying the specific cat litter I use after special ordering it a few times.

This place is awesome for your pet's needs. From LIVE crickets, and raw food, to pet toys and cleaning products for accidents. They're local so having them within walking distance is absolutely fantastic I can get all my pets foods and needs at a One-Stop shop. Anything you need and they are glad to help. Friendly fast and efficient service. And the shop cats are cute too!! ❤️

Awesome selection of high quality cat toys! Spendy....sure, but the toys are worth the price. Did not peruse the food selection, but from what I saw, it was a high quality selection. The neighborhood is kinda ghetto, but it's definitely still worth a visit!

By far my favorite pet store. Unlike some pet stores, you will not find a single item in the entire shop that is not high quality, and safe for your pet. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very sweet with my dog.

Its that kind of experience you get when you live in a small town, and everyone that works there gives you a personal experience, except in the middle of a big city.I really can appreciate seeing another small-business thrive in town due to outgoing and friendly employees and shop owners. this is by far the best pet supply store i have ever been to. the variety of food and other wares is such that i have been able to find a dry food that my cat will eat enthusiastically, which has not been easy in the past. the rewards program is cool too, i remember when i signed up i got a couple of free goodies, one of them being a christmas colored crinkle ball. my cat still plays with it to this day. some items are also better priced compared to chewy!

Best pet supply store in the metro. Amazing customer service. Delivery is fast and free (used to use chewy and these guys are 1000x more reliable). Curbside pickup is a nice option too. I'm always able to get healthy treats, chews, and food for my cats and dog. Great rewards program. All their monthly specials are great and always relevant items. Truly a great small local business to support. I recommend Urban Tails and their amazing team to everyone I know.
