I am a very picky dog mom, and when I moved to Minnesota, I was sad I would never find a groomer that I liked. I was very lucky that I found Cynthia at PetSmart. She takes care of my dog Millie like she was family Millie always looks beautiful. Cynthia always is happy to see my dog and always let me know if there was an issue of why something wasn’t able to happen in which I appreciate. I want to say thank you Cynthia for all the hard work that you do. You are appreciated

Ryan from aquatics is super knowledgeable and gave me a lot of great information about my freshwater Aquascape tank! He also had expertise in the reptile division when I inquired about a chameleon! If you go to this location, find this guy!

First time getting my cat groomed here. Absolutely amazing. She was in a great mood too. This was her first professional bath experience and according to our groomer, she was very well behaved. My cat normally doesn't like her paws touched but she let her groomer take them and trim. I'll spend my money's worth here. My previous experience at Fancy Paws was horrible and she suffered cuts and later a skin infection. They charged way more than PetSmart, so not sure why everyone is complaining about the price. They charged too much at Fancy Paws and my cat was injured and scared. I was nervous about bringing Ghost here but I'm glad I did.

Employees are friendly, and the place is clean and well laid out. (To be clear, not a dog or cat owner)Unfortunately the fish (my main interest) seemed to be in a terrible condition. Multiple dead Bettas, along with goldfish, minnows, and other species. I would be very hesitant to purchase any living animal from here. Not a huge surprise for a big box store, but it is always upsetting to see animals suffering like that.

We always go to Anna at St. Louis Park for grooming our Golden. She is the best. Always goes above and beyond and their prices are reasonable. We always feel comfortable leaving our dog there and she looks and smells great when we get her.

I feel like they always only ever have like 1.5 persons working at any given time. What’s that about? The stuff I need is generally always in stock, order online to pick up in store is the way to go. It’s usually clean as well, which I really appreciate.

Alexis is great! Friendly, nice and sooo helpful. First time at a Pet Smart as I was shopping for someone and she helped me get in and out fast. She basically did the shopping for me 😁👌🏽.

I brought my puppy here for grooming services twice. The first haircut was super cute! However, I noticed no one seemed happy to be at work. There was quiet music playing, no one was talking, and the dogs seemed just as depressed as the staff. No one talked to my pup, or tried to make him comfortable. After his 1st & 2nd haircut, the staff complained that my puppy was squirmy. I understand he’s new to salons and can be skiddish. I tipped the groomer well for her efforts. The 2nd haircut, they complained again about my pup still not being comfortable. They made me feel like they didn’t like my pup and like he was a burden. He left with matting he didn’t have when he arrived, and it looked like he was trimmed at home. I will never bring my puppy back here. The vibe was bad, and the staff was not very friendly. Don’t believe me? Peak your head inside next time you visit.

This is a decent pet store with great options. They are a little overpriced on litter and litter boxes, but they have a big selection of wet and dry cat food. Rachel who works there is amazing! She is always so friendly and helpful.

Always have what I need for my rabbits, but sometimes the lines can be long at the checkout because there's only like one or two people working in the whole store, even at peak hours. Please staff your store so there's enough coverage ♥️

I find that Petsmart in St.Louis Park Mn is at least 20 to 30 cents more expensive than Petco. Also the cashier that checked me out refused to do any price matching

I get my cats nails clipped once a month there for 15$ cant beat it.. only thing i could complain about is the amount of hair in the joint if they swept once in a while be great

Too bad 0 stars isn't possible. It took them 4 hours to NOT cut my dog's hair because he "kept moving around and didn't like it". He's been groomed 3 other times (at other establishments), and while it's not his favorite experience, they managed to actually give him a haircut and nail trim/grind in half the time, for less cost, and no trauma or excessive frustration on his part. He doesn't fear-bite or nip (confirmed again by the groomers here), he's just a very wiggly and energetic puppy. So all he got was a $70 bath, massive waste of time and money - and he still needs a haircut! Cancelled 3 future appointments here immediately. If groomers aren't equipped to handle a 10 lb puppy who doesn't bite or behave aggressively/reactively, I'd highly suggest either re-training, or just re-thinking your career choice.

I took my dog here for the first time for grooming. I have tried 3 other groomers in the area that are WAY more expensive and Carly did a way better job! She was so great and patient with my pup who gets very nervous about baths and grooming. She looks fabulous with her new cut. Will be going back here for grooming.

On 10/25/23, had a scheduled grooming appt. for my dog.Informed the young lady that my dog is deaf, has anxiety and may have issues with being kenneled. Advised to call if any issues.She was to receive the basic service, bath, nail trim, etc. and I was asked/advised to add on nail grind as her nails were “pretty short” and the vein was too close to the tips.Okay’d the service. Amount went from 34 before tax to 50.Received a call about an hour after leaving.I entered the grooming area and noticed the two were employees acting weird and having a side convo. I heard the groomer ask if that was me. All he said was your dog is so sweet as the lady behind the counter walked over to me and handed me a piece of paper and asked that I pay. I was confused. Never seen that process done before. It was a little loud in the there so I walked out as instructed to pay, sat the paper on the register, the lady picked it up, scanned it, put it in the drawer and told me my total.A little confused still I paid. Took my receipt and walked back in. Once I came in she was checking the computer and said something about now she can grab my dog.A customer next to me was greeted, service explained, young woman sat her dog on the ground and said for the camera we have to show that the dog walks fine - my opinion healthy- woman explained that even though it was her dog first time that her dog did excellent.Lady walked out with my dog and thanked me for coming.Nothing in regards to service was discussed.I asked her if she would step out the grooming area with me because I had a question.Asked her if it was standard to have customers pay before being brought their dog and that I didn’t receive my dog first. She yes it was standard now due to that fact that so many people run off and not pay.Asked her what was the difference between me and the other customer who was treated differently. Informed her I would not return and would post a complaint.My dog didn’t smell like any type of shampoo, nails were trimmed and none appeared to have had a grind appearance to it.I will post on bbb and am thinking about sending in another complaint in regards to overall treatment with this location.

Have come here a lot. Tonight my husband and I came in and decided to look at the cats. We were in the room for probably about 8 minutes just looking at the cats and reading their little papers. An employee whipped open the door and said with his voice raised “I’m cleaning in here! You guys can’t be in here unsupervised!” As another employee looked on a few steps out of the room and stared at us as we left. Embarrassingly I started crying because I was shocked I got yelled at.If guests aren’t supposed to be in the room perhaps a sign and a gentle reminder would work better than yelling at them. The girl who watched us checked us out at the register and acted impatient and frustrated when my husband miss spoke while giving her our number. We felt as if we were treated like unsupervised children, I felt super embarrassed and uncomfortable.

I like the store but seriously. There is no reason there fish tanks should get this bad. Three dead baby Oscars that have a long life expectancy. Which was cut short in their care. Be careful when you get your fish from here definitely need a quarantine tank.

They should maybe consider a self checkout if they can't staff the tills as there is only ever 1 person manning checkout. Add a 10% employee discount to self checkout too ;-)

Bought this 2 days ago on 11/24/2021. IT EXPIRED ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO!! Are you kidding me? Thank god my puppy only ate a little. The only reason I looked at the expiration date was because she wouldn’t eat it all. Quality control? How could this even happen? This could have been a deadly mistake for my puppy with digestive issues. I will be in tomorrow to make the return. I don’t complain much but this is absolutely unacceptable!

After calling 5 other PetSmart locations, this one was beyond accommodating! The staff was exceptional, and not just one person—they all were excellent and courteous from the one on the phone to the groomer and sales staff. We had Ruby made beautiful and we got to see the city a little while not worrying about our baby. Thank you all!!’ We even bought her a brand new bed ( since we forgot hers at the last hotel in Kenosha WI) 😪 This is day 6 of a six week car (Honda CRV )road trip!

The selection is good - my bulldogs love going here but I don't have them groomed here. Prescription foods are expensive here - not really sure why you need a prescription for food that is formulated differently but has no medications at all in it.

Rescued the most adorable little purring machine through them. Everyone was friendly and helpful to though the process. Got all the additional accessories at the same time. Had my furbaby in a carrier I hadn't even paid for yet while I got all the stuff one would need and everyone was cool about it :) Named her Oreo. 10/10 would recommend this place for adoptions and purchases. :)

This location earns excellent marks for knowledgeable staff. I needed some recommendations for puppy care, and dog treats. I asked some staff who were in the aisle, and they were also pet owners, who had experience caring for animals.Way to go hiring people that really know their stuff.I'm also very impressed by the availability of a wide range of products here. They have what you need, and maybe even some things you don't need 😉

I can't decide if prices are good; it seems high. But I found the training treats and doggie biscuits I was looking for. The doggie biscuits had their intended effect. I fed a biscuit to my puppy before bed, and he let me sleep an hour later in the morning; he had been waking me because he was hungry. I'm thrilled; that was worth the price for sure.
